Venue was beautiful. The staff was wonderful. And thus was first event that Ive ever been to where all of the food was absolutely amazing.

I actually went to see Jelly Roll @Iron City last night 3/7/20 & it was the first time Ive been there and it was a awesome experience even though it was completely packed sold out show! They have a great bar & super nice bartenders even if your not a drinker they still have soda products.. the security was really friendly and they kept trouble from starting so it makes you feel safe.. The stage was so close that you could touch Them on it! It was standing room only & they are handicapped accessible also.. All in all it was one of the best concerts Ive been to in a very long time and there prices are nearly impossible to beat! There was a smoking section for us smokers that was easily accessible but it definitely needs more bathrooms & even a small bar upstairs would set it off! Cant complain really coz I had a awesome time and will go back again! Thanks Iron City for a spectacular show!

This venue has been stringing me (& everyone else from the looks of their social media pages) along with promises to refund tickets to a cancelled (not rescheduled) show since May. There is absolutely no transparency, communication, or professionalism. Be forewarned that when you purchase tickets to this venue (not through Ticketmaster or LiveNation), your only recourse is to dispute via your credit card company. I will never patronize this establishment again. To hold onto peoples money, many who are out of work or struggling during this pandemic, is not only bad business, its immoral.

Great intimate venue, convenient access to the bar while the band is playing. Bar tenders were very nice, helpful and friendly. Prices are not over inflated like they are at so many other venues. Band we saw played an acoustic set as well as their normal metal sound and the sound was great for both. Will definitely be going back to see other acts in the future.

Excellent room. I was in town and saw The Wood Brothers a few nights back. Great sound, very crisp, not too loud. You can tell they put a lot of forethought into the audio engineering. An even better selection of locally brewed beers. Will definitely be back for another show some time. Well done, Birmingham.

Iron City was an AMAZING venue for our wedding and reception. It exceeded our exceptions in every category. Iron City has a great space that allows for a large wedding guest list, a cocktail hour where our guests could enjoy drinks and appetizers while the main area was flipped from wedding to reception, and spacious dance floor while still offering plenty of high boy tables and seating. Michelle and her assistant Arielle are total wedding pros. They did everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly from the rehearsal the day beforehand to the sparkler exit at the end of the night. During our food tasting, we personally met the chef who made recommendations to ensure our whole guest list would be satisfied on our budget. As you can see, each aspect of Iron City is built for your perfect wedding venue. I could not recommend this venue highly enough!

Excellent location and space. Having only one bar makes getting a drink difficult. Also the upper level is not fully connected so you have to walk down stairs, across the venue and up another set of stairs to get to the other part of the upper level. The bartenders are helpful, polite, and make excellent cocktails.

We (Meta Fitness Studio) have used Iron City for our New Year, New You fundraiser for 6 years and each and every year, it seems to get better. The venue is fantastic and is always a great setting for our event, but what makes this place so special is the people that make it work. Everyone involved, the planners, the lighting, sound, bartenders, cleanup crew...EVERYONE involved is professional, courteous, and committed to doing the job right. Its been a wonderful 6 years with my friends at Iron City and I hope its another 60 more! Cheers and thank you for all you do!

Such a cool venue! I live out of town and took my mom to see Laine Hardy here. The sound quality is amazing and there isn’t a bad “seat” in the house!! The stage is set up like a large venue, but it’s pretty intimate and not big at all.... Awesome!

Came to meet Coaches Gene Stallings and Pat Dye. Really cool venue. Would love to come again to a concert! The food at the adjacent restaurant The Grill was very good.

My friend and I had tickets to the Citizen Cope show, 06/19/19, and this was the first time visiting the venue for the both of us. The venue was absolutely amazing!! Located very conveniently off the highway. And has a restaurant attached to it. We had dinner in the restaurant and walked through to the show venue. The venue is nothing short of amazing and very intimate. We had seats in the VIP section and it was equally impressive. There was a seating area show that you can watch the show and a lounge for more private entertaining. We were both so impressed and definitely will come back for more shows.

Solid venue. Laid out well. Good sound and lighting. The floor is crowded and I have anxiety. So, Im not a fan of the idea that I would have to pay $170-$500 to get upstairs out of the crowd.

I love coming here. My opinion the BEST place to come for a show. Sure its a little smaller than other places but its so amazing to be able to share such an amazing experience with tons of other people. The bartenders are always friendly and so is the rest of the staff. The best band always come here and they do lots of other amazing things like weddings and parties.

Fabulous venue. First off, their ticket sales are designed to ensure you arent being ripped off by third parties. Second, when you start a tab at the bar, they give you back your card immediately so you can close it out at the end of the night (they do have a $10 minimum for cards, so $3 bottles of water work in your favor). Third, they have reserved seating on the balcony level. Ive never reserved one because I love being able to get close to the stage. Thats the fourth thing. General Admission means if you really want to, you can wiggle through the crowd and get right up next to the stage. Which is amazing for such an intimate venue. Bands will sometimes come out to greet fans after the show, which again is crazy awesome.

Iron City is a great concert venue. The staff is friendly. The bar is well stocked and the bartenders are very nice. The venue is somewhat small, which I prefer.

Iron city is easily one of the best music venues in town and they tend to book lots of great bands. The set up of the stage, bar, merch tables, floor and balcony seating are great and make Iron City a fantastic place to see bands play.

Very good small venue. Had seating in the floor, and raised area to stand with great sight lines. Sound was great. Pre-show meal and beverage at the Iron City Grill (attached) was great and made for easy entry to the venue for the show.

Not a bad place for a show. Big stage and a great sound. My review was good, but when I looked at my banking and I was charged $10 on my card instead of the $6 in which I was told for a coke and water it really let me down. If I didnt have tickets for two upcoming shows, I would definitely not be going back. I do not know the bartenders name, but he is definitely a no class loser.

Honestly this is such an amazing venue. Its never overly crowded its always clean and it is just very aesthetically pleasing in generally. Went to see Arlie and Coin and where they put the merch worked so much better this time.

Was the there for a drag queen Christmas naughty. Enjoyed the show. Cant say much about the venue because I didnt explore but the layout does seem adaptable to many events.

The best venue that I ever attended for a concert! It was well worth the 2 hour drive from NW Georgia. The venue itself was unique and quaint. The bathrooms were immaculate! The staff was superb! I plan to seek out future concerts at this venue!

Great place. Get there early for some seats though! We got there at 6:30 (doors open at 7) and we had a choice to sit wherever we wanted!

I have been to Iron City 2x recently...to see Puddles the Clown and to see TMBG. I like the space except for the fact that there is not seating available except in the upper balcony areas. At TMBG, one of the upper areas was roped off. The stage is small and the floor in front of it makes for a up close and personal experience, but I guess I am old school and thus I prefer the opportunity to sit and enjoy. If you dont mind standing, and like a small venue where there really isnt a bad view from wherever you happen to be standing, then this is the place for you. Also its relatively easy to find free parking if you dont mind a bit of hoofing.

Big Kritt was amazing!! His openers were amazing. Needs to be opened up some and more places to sit/stand.

Great venue! lots of space. With a large crowd multiple areas for good view of the stage even if you are vertically challenged like me( 52 in) easy access to bar. Lastly Marc Martel & Black Jacket Symphony gave a Truly Awesome & fitting tribute to the band Queen. Greatings to Thomas & Debra our concert mates. We enjoyed the company & conversation. Ive been to several events, concerts, and dinners at Iron City and each experience was a positive one! This is my preferred concert venue size, and the floor layout is perfect. Clean/open atmosphere and friendly staff.

Shakespearean theater experience. A stage and a place to stand and watch. Best way to really see a performance. That said, when they anticipate an older audience they do provide chairs.Competent bar. Good acoustics. The staff has their act together. Good consolation for the loss of City Stages.

Incredible place! The atmosphere is really chill. The food is unbelievable! The cook, Josh, is on his cooking game! I witnessed a customer, going on and on to Josh about the cured steak. He asked him to come out of the kitchen to shake his hand! The guy was a restaurant guru and he posted pics of the plated food on his Instagram Account. I havent checked out the venue side but Ive heard amazing things! I do know some really well-known bands play there and its a great venue to rent for parties. I highly recommend!

Always enjoy going here. One side is a music venue, the other side a restaurant. Wonderful food, great staff, with fast service. The ingredients seem very fresh. It might be a little pricey, but worth it.

I have always had a great time at Iron City. It can get crowded at times, but that’s to be expected with the great artists they have performing here on a regular basis. I love the upstairs vip option overlooking the stage and outdoor smoking patio! I don’t smoke so I love not having to breath in smoke the whole time. The bathrooms are super nice, clean, and large. Also, I’ve always felt safe here because they have extra security and Birmingham police officers on duty; especially at bigger events/artists.

I came in with friends to see Citizen Cope. We met early and ate at the grill side beforehand. The buffalo cauliflower was so good! And of course, so was the show! My friend had a fever and really shouldnt have come out. She ended up in her car most of the show, but the bartenders couldnt have been nicer about me taking her water and even one had ibuprofen for me to give to her. Thanks for the great experience again!

Jo Dee Messina was AWESOME tonight at Iron City venue!!!!!She spoke of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father all throughout the concert. It was really great!!!!Her songs were great too. So glad I was able to go.The band that opened for her was good too. The lead was Taylor Honeycutt. She was a good singer.Nice venue. Sat in the Handicapped and was on right hand very front seats.

This venue is my all time favorite to come to! Every time an artist is coming to town I always hope they are playing at Iron City. Great staff, great view from anywhere in the place. Free standing or you can purchase a reservation for seating up top. Smoking area and restrooms are a few steps away and easy access.

The best place for dinner and a show in the city of Birmingham. I have attended several shows at Iron City. From the Foo Fighters, Black Jacket Symphony, Sam Hunt, The Molly Ringwalds to Willie Nelson. There isnt a better place in the city to catch a show. Great staff and amazing food at the Iron City Grill!

As far as a music venue, its awesome. Acoustics are good and the band sits up on the stage which is higher than the audience and makes it possible for everyone to see. Easy to get in and the bartenders gave quick service.

The star studded staff makes a very good venue a great one, and Iron City is epic. Better bar options for less $ than any other local venue. Extremely helpful box office staff. One of Birminghams better restaurants. Not to mention, everyone thats works there is beautiful. Im sure theyre nice, but Im saying these people are attractive. Ill def be back as often as I can be. Dont hesitate. Buy your tickets and come hang out with these hotties!
