The customer service at Progressive Laser is beyond excellent. Julie makes sure that you are comfortable, as do her technicians. They are very sweet and make you feel at home. She thoroughly explains everything she will do before it is done, and you can be reassured that you will be satisfied. I had great results (full body laser hair removal) after only a couple treatments as it has left my body very smooth- my body wasn’t even close to that before I started. I dodged all the places near my city and chose to drive over an hour to Progressive Laser with no regrets; she accommodates my family and I. My sister and I have different skin types and color, yet we both resulted with smooth bodies. She performed the microdermabrasion for my mother, and there was excellent results. Their prices are much cheaper than other places, and their technicians are very, very kind. I am a fully covered girl and yet felt comfortable to take everything off. Your body is precious and needs to be in good hands, Progressive Laser is the way to go.

My friend told me about Progressive Laser because she was a patient and loved it, So I thought I would try it out and have my under arms treated. After my third treatment I was in heaven with the amount of hair I had lost, so I added on more parts to have laser done on. Its true. This is a scam. Julie is ripping people off. Ive read all the reviews and she is obviously doing it over and over to many people.I got the whole body package for $1000. After a few treatments she tells me Ill have to start paying a mandatory gratuity of 20%, each visit! I was able to talk her down to 10% but still, it wasnt part of the agreement.Then her equipment failed and she doesnt plan to replace it. She then wanted to do the large areas I paid for with the small tipped tool, which would never work.When I asked for some of my money back she refused.This is a warning, dont go here!!!

I had the good fortune several years ago to use the staff at progressive for some hair removal. I found the staff very knowledgeable and accommodating. My series of treatments went as explained and without incident, I was in and out in minutes.Recently I considered doing something about the age lines that snuck up on me. I consulted Julie who assured me that not only do many men my age undergo these types of procedures but that it would take years off.She was right on all accounts ,not only am I amazed at the majic she preformed but how nice the staff was with me as my schedule is a difficult one and regardless of what I threw at them it was always no problem, no problemI highly recommend

I would not recommend Progressive Laser in Southfield MI. Unprofessional company and disrespectful. Some of the google reviews are written by staff . See reviews from other websites to learn the true story. I wish I had before I gave them money. Remember, you pay in advance and you get fined if you miss an appointment you already paid for. The company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Be careful.

This is my first experience with LHR, and I couldnt be happier. Even as a single mother, the prices are just right for my budget. even with a 20% increase, it is still the best prices and service in town.

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with in my life. After paying in advance for 10 treatments, I was told after my 6th treatment that I would have to pay an additional mandatory 20% gratuity, based on full retail price not the price I actually paid. What a joke. Julie is such a space cadet, I wonder how she manages to get up in the morning and find her office. What a great business model to scam your customers....make them pay in full and increase the price to continue service. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

Paid $329 for 8 sessions. The 2nd session, they told me I would now have to pay additional $140 for 20% Mandatory Gratuity of original cost for each session. They would not refund any of the $329 when asked.

Worst EVER! I want to warn anyone getting any deals for this place: DONT buy it! DONT be fooled!First time I had a treatment done at Progressive Laser I had a Groupon. I was made very uncomfortable by Julie after sitting in the waiting area for almost half an hour. She made me read a manual about Botox Injections (was questioning if she knew what she was doing?!). The manual was for her, NOT me! The whole place looked dirty and shady. Julie convinced me to buy another treatment deal through the business website (guess she does NOT like that Groupon gives her 50% of the proceeds). I did in April. It didnt say anything about 20% gratuity or $50 per service fee in addition to the deal purchased price. I called before I bought to make sure the deal is current and that I would be able to use it at a later date. Was told no problem. Well, when I called few months later to schedule my treatment I was told that in addition to the money I already paid for the deal, I would be required to pay $50 (suppose gratuity on the retail price of the treatment) before I get the treatment! Since the deal was for two treatments, I would be required to pay $50 before each, in addition to what I already paid for the deal! When I said that NOWHERE did it say it when I was buying the deal and therefore, I want my money back (with the $50 extra it really is NOT a deal!). The receptionist said Julie will call me back. She did. Left a message on my voicemail saying that she will call the police if I come in for my appointment requesting any money back!!! This is a total rip off! I am very tempted to call Rob and put Progressive Laser into his Hall of Shame... From some other reviews on Yelp and Google, I found out (only too late) how she fools people into buying her deals and nickel & dime them later! She is crazy! Has no shame...

I have been enjoying my treatments at Progressive Laser and I am seeing excellent results on my face. I struggled with horrid facial hair and Julie helped me take care of it.

When I was seen the clinician than told me I would need 10 more units at $12.50 a unit so it would really be costing $235 for the scow lines between the eye brows despite the Groupon.I told them that 20 units had been enough when I had Botox once before from someplace else. Of course their 20 units had little effect. The office girl slipped and confessed the serum is diluted. I really felt this offer is a bait. Get you in the door and than try to get you to spend what they want to give you satisfactory result. Office was very un-organized and untruthful. Twice I showed up for a scheduled appointment only to be told they called my cell to reschedule however I never had a missed call on my cell phone. Another time the clinician was going to call me when I showed up for a cancelled appointment however she never did.Waste of money for sure.

I began going here after buying a Groupon voucher for 10 laser treatments. Initially, I had a mostly positive experience until recently when I called to reschedule my appointment since my son was sick and I could not make it on my scheduled day. I was told by the owner that rescheduling would not be an issue and I would not be charged, however, when I came in for my laser appointment, she told me that I had to pay a rescheduling fee of $20. The laser visit only takes about 3-5 minutes, what a rip-off! They also have signs asking you to tip because they are giving you a good deal on their laser packages! As a side note, I have been though 8 laser visits, and the lasered area is only about half free of hair growth, and I have only 2 more visits remaining! NOT WORTH IT.I also hear that the company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. The office staff also writes positive reviews on here!

DO NOT GO HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY. SHE IS A CROOK. This is a real review from a customer NOT LIKE HER STAFF leaving BS reviews to up her stars. This business gets one star because I cant give half a star as I truly feel. We bought a groupon for my friend for $300 something dollars. Went to 3 sessions and before our 4th appointment (which we bought the package for 8 in total) we recieved an email from the lady that does the treatments.. saying that there were :new owners/management taking over and the only way you can continue your treatments is if we pay a 15% gratuity fee on each time we come in for our session on top of our purchase price. So we paid about $375 US (us being canadian), which came up to roughly about another $60 on top considering we had paid for 8 sessions (5 sessions remaining x $60 = an additional $300) or else we cannot continue our treatments. She does this to everyone. We reported her to the better business bureau but have not had our issue resolved. She also says you have to purchase a $25 piece for your laser treatments... everywhere else does not charge for that.I am very honest in any reviews I give a business and I am not anal about everything so this is a completely honest review. Please people save your gas, your money, and time away from this business called PROGRESSIVE LASER... ironically its not progressive at all cause you get screwed over with your treatments and nothing progresss but her scamming people. Do not be a victim like we were thinking we were getting a great deal. I highly recommend doing your absolute best reading other reviews and research on places cause most businesses will get their employees to write a spectacular review just to get their business going.

SCAM SCAM SCAM !!! BEWARE. Purchased 10 laser sessions . After the third she used this lame excuse sayin there are new owners and i wil now have to pay 20% gratuity after every appointment. Shady staff, shady owner. And dont be fooled by the 5 star reviews. That is left by the own staff.

This is the not the place I would go for any kind of injections nor laser... With a groupon you dont get to go in and experience the place first. This was my first experience for photofacial and ipl. When I saw first hand and live some of the work that was done on the faces there in the office, I decided against using the botox portion of my groupon and lost the money on it as they were not willing to turn it over to the ipl side of things... I bought two more IPL sessions because the girl who performed the first was excellent. She quit the following week, my second visit was awful and the third was another tech I liked who also ended up quitting.. I know why these girls quit and I dont blame them at all, they were way too professional for this place and should move on..... When you have a groupon, they are not quick to get you in for an appointment either, I had to call groupon to get a call back from them and then they were nasty to me... go someplace else.

I purchased a 9 treatment laser hair removal special (for my face) as advertised by their office (not on Groupon). Julie scheduled our consultation at 8am on a Friday to accommodate my work schedule. After 5 treatments I have noticed an 80% difference! I have 4 treatments left and was recently told of their new mandatory gratuity policy. I explained to Julie my financial situation and expressed that this was a splurge for me (Im a single Mom and bought the deal with my income taxes) and I didnt want to miss my last treatments because I couldnt afford the gratuity. She worked out a deal with me and I couldnt be happier. Ive read the negative reviews and honestly was surprised by some peoples experiences. Julie seems to be a strong person who will stand up for herself and policies so I think if you approach the situation politely rather than with hostility she might be willing to work with some people. Either that or she just likes me a lot.
