This is the BEST adult club in bham. Alabama the staff are great and look out for the customers welfare as well. Paul the doorman is a great person so tip him well he has your best interests entering and exiting the club. Jeff the manager is awesome he treats everyone the same even I CRAZY REPO as Jeff would say !!! So I’d like to thank all the employees @ the furnace for being so professional and treating CRAZY REPO like he has a little common sense !!! Even though most of the time I don’t !!! Enjoyed my time here the past few times. I frequent bham for work once a month. I do VIP and a bottle most every time. Would’ve given 4 stars BUT I feel like the ATM is ALWAYS broken each time I visit, so they can sell me the furnace bucks for an up charge on my card. Stop by a working ATM before you come here. Flew in from Dallas Friday night. Came in here with a buddy of mine. I definitely didn’t feel welcomed when I first came in. It seemed like the management couldn’t take the heat of a big crowd. Luckily one of the gentleman in there I think his name was Ken he definitely made an effort to introduce me to Svetta. She just got out of her previous VIP and all the inconvenience was worth it after that. My friend enjoyed another lady’s company named Tiffany. We definitely will comeback soon. Great looking girls and loved their company. Maybe in the future the management could show a little more kindness to clients from out of town. We are Bama fans after all, ROLL TIDE.

Me and my brother had a great time but like someone said earlier the girls are a bit conservative and when we did finally get a dance they started on a song already almost over so we only got a quarter of our moneys worth. Overall tho its a very fun place to be I would recommend u bring plenty of money because if u dont your not gonna get much of an experience. Girls are very pretty compared to some clubs Ive seen and like I said if u bring plenty of money and a good attitude more than likely have a great time. Ill definitely be back and would recommend it if u want a bit more upscale experience.

I will never spend a penny in this place again. Im pretty low key when it comes to service When we walked in, the guy at the door was very rude but kept a smile on his face as if that would make it better. I brushed it off and went to the table. The waitress come over to take our drink order and seemed like we werent good enough and several very rude things came out of her mouth right away. We tabbed out with her and moved to the bar. The bartender was amazing and the only reason we stayed for a few more drinks. When we were leaving I decide to talk to a different door guy about our experience and he told me to leave! Never again will I step foot in that place.

This club has no working ATMs and I had to use credit which has a 10% upcharge for their Furnace money... If i want to withdraw money 7-800 bucks for vip and drinks why would I want to pay 80 bucks instead of a small ATM fee?! Rip off... my buddies left. Got some dances and saw a few decent girls... stop at an ATM before you come here!!!

It is hit or miss. Bartender is horrible. I wish it was an interactive person. Forget the female... just please be having a good time. Girls are great but I did not come here for attitude.

Beautiful dancers, iffy management staff... I’ve tried to get a few dances with dancers i liked, and they are unable to do anything in a timely manner due to some absurd stage rules. I waited almost 25-30 mins to finally get a dancer that i wanted for VIP who was stuck doing what looked like 5 stage dances at 5 different spots in the club... she explained to me that the manager on duty Christian, wouldn’t let her skip any stages to do a vip with me. Any club I’ve ever been to does no such micro-managent of their dancers. I would’ve spent the money for 2 hrs in vip but after all that waiting I only had time for 1hr and chose not to purchase bottle service as it was cutting it close to closing time by the time my favorite girl was able to actually spend some time with me. The dancers are the only reason people visit a gentleman’s club and they should be able to do business anytime a customer asks to spend good money on multiple hours in VIP as well as bottle service. The dancer seemed exhausted after having done all those 5 stage dance sets prior to our VIP as well. I let her sit and take a breather in vip so she could catch a break... so all around badly ran operation. Dancers were great quality and very communicative.

My company and I came for an outing where we were greeted by a brute bouncer. The man has a clear attitude and agenda from the start. Do not come to this club, go somewhere else in Birmingham.

The last time I was in there was some years back, so my review is based on that time. I was a regular there from 2007-2009. It was awesome when I first started going. Never really had issues. However, by late 2009, the environment there had gotten (for lack of a better word) cutthroat. The girls were downright ruthless and extremely aggressive and would rip you off in a split second. I went into VIP one night and spent more than $4,000. Now part of that was on me. I did agree to go to VIP and even had the inclination to spend some serious money. But NOT $4,000 worth. The girls that I was in there with got me SO drunk, I could not think straight. That was years ago, and to this day, I could not tell you how many hours I was in VIP that night. But, in all fairness, that was then, and this is now. I want to take the time to applaud Jeff, the new manager at The Furnace. Although I was long gone years before Jeff became the manager, and thus have never met him, I do hear good things and I am happy to see him respond to reviews. Who else would do that? Not any of the past managers of The Furnace, that is for certain.It seems as if The Furnace has been getting cleaned up. The cutthroat environment of 2008-2009 appears to be a thing of the past. Kudos to the new management. Years back, I would have advised anyone asking me about the place not to venture there. But, now, I say go and have a blast! It has changed for the better.

Normally I dont like a club that is hard on the up sell but Ive never been to one where the dancers try to avoid you. Sat at a table for three hours and only one dancer ever approached me. She was nice enough, but a little too young for me. Conversation was to far apart for me to accumulate interest. So I just bought her a drink and had her tip for me. I had few hundred on the table in singles. After letting her hand out about half, I noticed not a single dancer ever came to thank me.First two drinks started out quick enough, waitress forgot about me for the next hour. Way disappointed there.Yeah, polar opposite of overly aggressive dancer is terribly snobbish. Could have had a better night just hanging at home in comparison. Place was better when Peanut was still around. R.I.P. Nut.

Great atmosphere fast service friendly and beautiful ladies Luna and Cali with many others wanted to stay all night but alas could not hopefully that wont be the case next time this is a place that I will love to be at to the owners much respect

Awesome night. Looks like a top shelf gentlemans club in Vegas. Food was really really good, had a steak and nachos, even the grilled vegetables tasted fresh. It was the dancer Rubys birthday and we really enjoyed getting to know her. Everyone from the bouncers to the restroom attendant were really professional.

This is the best GENTLEMANS CLUB Ive been to. It will spoil you and you will compare every other establishment to this one. I stress Gentlemans Club because this isnt the cinder block / trailer park shake joint to show your rear end at. You dont tip dollars here. Sit back, enjoy the show and get a few dances (on actual couches, not some folding chair like youre in detention) from a lady you like. Just walk up and say could I get a dance from you?; dont be shy, theyll say yes. Dances average $20 a song (ymmv). Leave your friend that cant control himself at home but bring money. You can have the most affordable or expensive night of your life (Either will be a blast). Just be a gentleman and dont forget to tip the staff.

I take a lot of call, which means I am in the Birmingham Medical district a LOT. Often at very odd hours, such as the middle of the night. So in order to sleep well in my hospital cot before the next shift I typically tend to sneak on down to The Furnace.Granted I am no gentlemans club expert, I would like to say this place is CLASSY! Very nice and comfy seats, excellent bar, no smoking inside, and food! Unfortunately I have not tried the food, thats not why I mosey on down there... Hehe. The ladies! Thats why! Gorgeous if I do say so myself!The only reason I rate 3/5 is one incident that was a bit appalling. I was indeed taken in by a lovely seductress, of whom I will not name, it could have been a simple misunderstanding. However, I am fairly positive on what we agreed upon. We did not agree to run one of my cards until the maximum amount was acquired for said dance. We did not agree that it would be only a different couch upstairs and three dances..... For the price of FIVE?So in short (if you made it this far in this long winded boring tale) glorious place, glorious girls, excellent service, but keep an eye on that wallet and DO NOT USE CREDIT/DEBIT if at all possible.One star per dance!

I went here the other night and couldn’t believe how I was treated. It’s been forever scene I have been. One we were charged for drinks for a girl that did sit with us. Second I was told buy several girls that fat old guys shouldn’t be allowed to be in there. Two girls said I better have more than a doller to tip. Another thew the five I had just tipped her back at me and said you kneed this more than I do. I went one more round and found a girl that was attractive and went to ask her for a lap dance she said no and that i exceed the weight limit

Not upbeat or fun at all. Almost everyone working there has a reason why they are doing this right now or they make sure you know that despite working at a place like this they are smarter/better than you. Its very apparent that they all despise you but are trying REALLY hard not to show it. The only things that can you can really accomplish here are getting completely inebriated and, of course, spending a TON of money.BTW anyone comparing this place to anywhere in Vegas has clearly never, ever, ever been to LV.

This club charged me 2-3 times for the same one drink I purchased. I had over 8 transactions on my bank account that were pending from the 3 transactions that I actually charged myself! How a company gets away with this is beyond me! Not to mention..when I contacted the manager-Matt to ask about these transactions..I was treated like I was some low life customer! This was my 1st time at this club and I know that I will NEVER go back after this! Matt is a RUDE MANAGER who should not be in charge at that club. I cannot believe an owner would allow someone like Matt to be over their business/club. He will do nothing more than drive customers away. Mark my words on that! I will not stop at this review on letting others know about what has happened. I feel that its the customers right to know exactly what they will be put through and exactly how they will be treated by the companies employees. I would drive out of town before I would EVER go to this club in Birmingham. Take my advice everyone and go somewhere else! A lot less hassle and you wont have the issues with your bank calling you to shut your card down because so many pending charges have been placed on your card by this one business.

Dancers had no energy. One girl didnt even move while she was on the stage just basically stood there. The bartender didnt even know my drink that i wanted and when we finally got it it tasted horrible. The dancers went straight to topless with no teasing going on or none of that sort. Need bigger/taller poles. Girls didnt dance to music or get excited about dancing. (Thats how you make your money) I could have done a better job in the dress i was wearing.
