The wave pool is broken, so no waves, the hot tub was out of service and was empty, and the kid pool was pretty cold. Dont worry, they still charge full price even though half of the attractions are broken. I thought they closed down to fix these issues, but apparently not.

Great place to take the family all year round. There are 2 big slides for those seeking a bit of a thrill ride and a play structure for the smaller crowd or those just looking for more laid back fun. Dont forget the lily pads, wave pool and sport pool with volleyball net and basketball hoop. If you plan on staying all day they have concessions on-site also and are reasonably priced.

This was my first time here. My kids, husband and I had a great, fun time. The family bathroom wasnt quite as clean as I would have preferred but the main restroom was acceptable. I thought the price was a little high for what they have available regarding attractions.(The following is more a reflection of patrons rather than the reef). I think it would be nice if parents were a little more attentive of their children and their behavior as there were some kids that were skipping and weaseling in front of smaller kids in line as well as climbing slides when others were waiting to go down and even piling up and not waiting for kids to get down the slide before going.

Had a great time with my 3 children - 9, 6 & 20 months old. I would suggest this park is suited to kids up to around 12 years old, so was absolutely perfect for us.The 20 month old had a particularly fun time in the children’s water playhouse.Great that it’s connected to the hotel too.

The biggest draw of the Reef (and a brilliant business idea) is that it is an indoor water park that can still be in operation during the winter months. With that in mind this is a GREAT place to get a season pass during the winter months. Everyone gets to pretend like it is summer for a few hours a week and then go sit in the hot tub. It has been a God send for my family this winter. The staff is great, there is a enough for the kids to do each week to keep it fresh and fun. My only complaint is that there is water all over the bathroom floors which makes it hard to change and not get your dry clothes wet. I dont know any way around that, but that would be the only thing I think they can improve upon!

Not what it used to be. We used to have a family pass here but ended up moving away. Back in town visiting we decided to go to the reef. They used to have life jackets for kids now they charge for them to rent, seems like a bad idea. They used to have stacks ofFloat tubes but now there were only 4 to share. The wave pool was not working , it was sad. The life guard was not watching the pool at all and could not even get their attention, good thing no one was drowning. Warning, they charge more on Thursday than the weekend, no idea why but it was almost 60.00 for 4 of us. They said it would be cheaper on the weekend. On the positive the pool was nicely heated. I hope they get everything repaired, get better life guards and please buy a few more float tubes.

Giving it a 4 because it was pretty darn cold and they lack a kid pool. Yes they have a splash pad but would love a shallow pool for the toddlers.

Been here several times. Each time its a little more run down. Parts of the kids park do not work. The hot tub is just that. None of the jets work. Wave pool has a load buzzer that reminds you how disappointing the place really is because the wave pool has no waves. And now for the slides. The orange one you can feel every section scrape your back the entire length of the slide. Purple one is great. If you wanna wait for one of the five a deflated tubes. Sad to see these types of places go to waste.

Stayed at the hotel next to water park thinking they were connected. They werent but we got a discounted price of 10 bucks per person. It had two water slides. One you went down with an inner tube, the other on your back. The slide on your back hurt because of the jolts. My back was red for hours after and hurt. Also, the wave pool didnt work or wasnt running. It would have been nice to have a regular pool. Kids were able to spit going up the stairs because there were spit piles all over. Was very dirty.

I absolutely love bringing my daughter here we stay for hours the only problem I have is this....either do an expansion on the sitting/public area or have more private rooms for birthday parties. I am at this establishment as I type this and I’m sitting in the lobby area as there are at least 3 different bday parties in the swim area and each party is using at least 3 tables and 15 chairs!

While the atmosphere is great, they serve food and the littles can enjoy the splash park and little slides, the water temperature for the smaller children in that area is FREEZING. Im talking even my husband and I were shivering after going down the small slide there with our son.Warming it up should be a priority for little bodies, especially in the wintertime. They expel heat WAY faster than an adult does. A small child doesnt want to sit in the warmer wave pool either, or ours doesnt as theres nothing in there to play on.We werent allowed to sit with our small children and take them down the large slides with us, which was disappointing. They ALL wanted to go, and ranged from ages 4 to 6.Get the water temp fixed for the smaller children and more people would come back on a regular basis! Otherwise its a fun place to spend the weekend with your kids!

We rented a hotel room thinking that they would get to play at the Reef for free, but then they tell us that we still have to pay for the water park and would get a discount. We decided that the kids would be disappointed if we didn’t let them go since we told them and got them all excited about it. Still had to pay $10 per kid even with the discount which is outrageous and then get in there to find out that the wave pool is not working. Very sad and disappointing for the kids. Definitely not gonna be thinking about coming here again.

This is a great water park that youre able to visit all year round. Overall I feel the prices are decent and comprable with everything else around. It has numerous activities for all ages. It even has slides for kids preschool and younger. There is plenty of space and seating for adults to watch the kids even if you dont wish to participate. Because this is an indoor park expect it to be hot, humid and loud. They have life jackets available if you didnt bring any. There is a concession stand and their Pizza is way better than you would expect.

Air temperature is too cold and frankly the water temp could be increased too. My 3 year old was freezing, lips turning blue and shaking. Took him to the hot tub to warm up to be kicked out, no kids under 6. Returned with my older child to the hot tub to warm up and the employee was very rude (thinking I was with my younger child) and tried kicking us out again. Big difference between 6 and 3 years old. Also no signs posted anywhere stating the 6 year and under werent allowed nor were we told when we paid. I was grossed out with floating hair in hot tub multiple times and a floor. Other pools seemed better. Did not eat there so I cannot say about the food or cost. Felt it was quite expensive for a family of 4 for 2 hrs because my youngest was so cold he just wanted to leave. They need to fix the temperature issues. It would make it a lot more fun for everyone if they are not going to allow smaller kids in the hot tub to warm up. That and keep the hot tub cleaner.

Ive been here twice now and I must say it seems really fun, if youre a child. For the adults, especially those without children, its doesnt have much going for it. For the adults there is a wave pool with very small waves. The waves are small enough that it almost doesnt qualify as a wave pool. Youll get more enjoyment from the two waterslides. But I tired of them fairly quick. And then theres a pretty good sized hot tub. And thats about it for the older people.I didnt have any food, but the group I was with did. From what I heard the food stand was a disorganized mess. They were missing several items and if you wanted pizza you had to order it right when you got there because there was an hour and a half wait. I did see another group eating pizza and it looked pretty lackluster. But really I dont think Im the customer base they are aiming for, and for families it seems like a really fun place to get out of the sometimes nasty Montana weather for a swim.

Had a birthday party here for my son with many family members tagging along. The pools and splash park were really fun for him, and all but one water gun was operating. He wasnt big enough for the big slides, but I sure had fun with them and there wasnt any wait time (around noon). My only beef with the pools is that the smell of chorine was really heavy, but maybe thats expected for an indoor water park build mainly for kids. For a birthday party, I felt like more service couldve been included in the price. We went for a pizza to celebrate, and it was going to be an hour and a half wait for it! Their fryer didnt seem to be working correctly for chicken strips (they came out cold), they pretty much ran out of stock on most food items. We tried their pretzels, and found it strange that they spray them with Pam non-stick spray before handing them to you.All in all, I enjoyed going and my kids all had fun, but itll probably be a while before we head back.

Good park reasonably priced with a membership. The one star reviews come from people that are told their babies cant go in the hot tub. Like this is news to some people. The reason why little kids shouldnt go in the hot tub is death. Toddlers die of hyperthermia quickly. Even if they do not die they can suffer irreversible brain damage. So yea it is pretty necessary to keep small children out. Not to mention the sanitary reasons. So dont be fooled by one star reviews this place will always give vouchers if youre Unsatisfied and communicate politely.
