I have been in for breakfast twice in the last three weeks. The country gravy is full of sausage and flavor. It is great on the biscuits or on the excellent chicken fried steak. The eggs are over easy, the potato and bread options are quality. The staff is always friendly and on it. Best breakfast in or near downtown Billings.

Great folks and always treat me with kindness. BINGO night was a lot of fun and the MC was great at what she does. Not just because I won $65 tonight. I usually go in a couple times of week for breakfast and its by far my favorite omelets in town.

The food was amazing and Sara at the bar was awesome. As we were leaving, one of the bar patrons called my staff fa99ot for wearing a mask. We went 3 nights in a row because it had country music, but my presence drew ire. I suspect they dont get too many black patrons.RE: Thanks for the response, it really does mean alot.

Corner bar with great service and amazing food! Smashed potato is sure to please. Full bar, casino, and close friends. My favorite spot in town! Breakfast until 2! Prime rib and home made soup. Love ya Joe!

Had a bit of a miscommunication regarding an order and a deal. They had no record of me ever placing the order or the conversation, but they took my word for it and made it on the fly while I had a delicious drink. Wonderful front of house staff and chef was quick and efficient. Food was also absolutely delicious and deserving of a 5 star on its own. Ill absolutely make sure to come back.

We had a salad and a dip sandwich. Supurb!! Beers were $3.50. but I guess in the big city, thats the going price. Glad they are open! Always heard they had great food, now we know for sure!

The High Horse has the best food and friendliest staff! This has become my family’s go to restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We have never had a bad meal. We love it so much I had to hire them to cater my company holiday party. Everyone loved the food and Reid and Shawna were awesome to work with!

I wont go back. Ordered the prime rib. What a disappointment. Couldnt even cut it let alone chew it.server not terribly helpful but was willing to substitute. However still got charged the price of the prime. The gravy on the chicken fried steak was awful. Couldnt eat that either.

Stopped in High Horse Saloon this morning for some breakfast and Boooom Chef Andy and his team killed it again ,best breakfast in town ham and cheese omelette is 5 stars and so is the customers serving .

My girlfriend and I have been here probably 20 or more times in the last year or so. Great breakfast with full bar. I have only tried their breakfast fare but Im sure the rest is great too. You can tell they are always working on customer service because they are so good at it and I always see one guy who I think is either the manager or the owner and he is actively involved in this place becoming a local classic.

My mom , who does not have any smart technology, would like to thank the staff at High Horse Saloon for the amazing service you give the bridge ladies on Tuesdays! She says the service is wonderful. She says youre also very friendly and nice to them and your food is terrific!! Thank you for being so kind to this aging group of bridge playing ladies.

Hands down the best catering in town. So easy to work with. Made my wedding stress free. They went above and beyond with their food and bar. I recommend everyone use them for your events.

I am so crazy about the Flank Steak salad that I’ve had it three times this month... order the steak med rare and the dressing on the side, best in town! Oh, there’s also usually great live music and the staff is incredibly friendly!!

What a hidden gem. One of the best breakfast places weve visited. Everything is homemade so allow for that but it is DELICIOUS! From the outside it doesnt appear to be much. Everyone on the staff is a joy, very helpful and does their best to welcome you. Definitely a place to give a chance.

8/11/19 Long wait for service and food. Order was wrong. They attempted to correct it. Still not right. Was not fit to eat.. paid and left. Will not return. Had eaten at this same place in July. Food was great. All I can say is they must have a new cook. That cant even cook scrambled eggs.

The waitress and supervisor (I think) were nice.... food was good when we finally got it. It took almost 45 minutes to get 2 pieces of French toast, 1 pancake, 4 eggs, and 4 pieces of sausage.... we arent from Billings and like to eat local food and try new places, this wasnt exactly a good first impression..... we probably wont go back anytime soon.

Great customer service. The bartender, Clean, is kind, fun and makes a mean vodka, soda with muddled lime. The DJ played great mixed jams too.

High Horse Saloon hosted our first EVER PTA Bingo FUNdraiser for our school! Wow, we can’t thank you guys enough. Your food was delicious, everyone was patient and welcoming to our school, and the turn out was WONDERFUL! If you haven’t been to the High Horse, stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

Waited about an hour and a half for our food. Waitress was not consistent. The bartender was more consistent with refilling our drinks. I could tell my food was frozen and not fresh. Tasted like Tyson chicken nuggets to me... which is Gross. Not worth the wait at all. And we were Not impressed and will not come back.

The drinks are strong the food is large and the music and dance for are perfect for a quick night out or a big party!

High Horse Saloon provided us with terrible bar service for our wedding! They were great with communication and were very friendly, but when the day came, the service was bad and they forgot certain drinks we had requested! First, they tried charging our guests for a certain drink we were paying for, even though they had a sign they wrote themselves about which drinks we were providingfor our guests! Second, when it came time for toasts we asked for the champagne, they said they forgot the champagne, and they asked that we wait about 20-30 minutes so they could go get some, but we were tight on time as guests were starting to leave after dinner. Third, they did not bring requested brands of alcohol or mixers for our preferred drinks, even after it was confirmed over phone and email that it would be available! Lastly, I had paid them in advance for our keg, set up fee, and the labor but they charged us again for them since my husband finished paying at the end of the night. There was so much going on how were we to catch that immediately? They are highly recommended, and we dont know why. They provided just terrible services and were the only vendors that upset us.

Dinner menu is pretty limited. One hamburger choice. Pasta with peppers and sausage ,beef stroganoff are only 2 pasta choices. I do have to say the prime rib was impressive better than steak houses. Due to limited menu choices I opted for an appetizer for dinner which was also good. Add more pasta and sandwich choices and you would have gotten 5 stars. We will try again.

I really like this place, but holy moly please fix the sewage line. It’s REALLY STINKY in the casino. I couldn’t hangout in there.

Service and food both are pretty hit or miss. Sometimes the service is excellent and other times the waiter forgets your soup then tries to say that each cup of soup is cooked individually to explain the delay. Sometimes your steak is cooked to the very definition of perfection but the next time it might be charcoal that happens to bleed and moo at you when prodded. Definitely worth a go but some consistency would be appreciated.

My boyfriend and I have gone to the Horse the last 2 Saturdays for breakfast. Each time I have been blown away! You get a lot of food, nice atmosphere, and dynamite service. Our server today always had a smile on her face(whitney was her name). She was waiting on a little girl and her dad behind us and upon the little girls request for a strawberry lemonade (which they do not have) the waitress said she would see what she could do. That is service you do not see any more. I highly recommend this place and will continue to send my friends.

My husband and I had dinner there yesterday. The food was amazing! The smoked meatloaf, steak and sides were tasty and well prepared! Great staff.

Carne asada and bacon sunrise tacos were delicious! Biscuits and gravy were different than the average and very good. Mimosa and bloodys were perfect!

Not sure who said high priced and small portions, I couldnt finish my meal. Got the Cobb salad and subbed the turkey for flank steak. The steak was a little tougher than what Im used to but it had good flaver. Good selection of craft beers as well. Dani was our waitress and she was very attentive.

The food is tasty and price is comparable to other nice eating establishments here in Billings. Their prime rib has a wonderful dry rub on the outside and sooo tender. Their soups are made in house and very flavorful. The nachos and chicken strips can each be used as a meal. Will definitely be back

This rating is for FOOD ONLY! Nice seating beatuful remodel horrible food at high end resteraunt prices. We ordered a 14 Oz Prime rib and beer battered shrimp. Shrimp was rubbery and breading was not fully cooked, not a chef by any means but seemed like they quickly deep fried fully cooked shrimp ($24). On to the worst part. The Prime was tender but dryer than a ball of cotton and luke warm at best. Again not a chef but my guess is the Prime was cooked 3 days ago, stored in the fridge (waitress said it wasnt frozen) and warmed up to serve. Fat/marbling was hard and solid hard to even cut, I have never seen a cut of prime rib served this way. Will never order food here again.On the plus side. They have a good draft selection, great atmosphere and friendly staff. I recommend a few drinks and night dancing here but warn you to stay away from the overpriced food.

The tenderloin steak was good! Nice flavor and tender with good sides. The prime rib was a bit dry and tough. The staff was very nice and did a great job : )

Had been there for lunch, which was amazing. The Big Sky Comedy Fest used this as a venue. Amazed at the quality of the remodel and level of class add to this popular location. Also DJ Skinny Beats performs here, so it must be top notch.

The food was great but our server was horrible once the rest of our party left. We were down to 4 people and then she pretty well ignored us. Couldnt get a drink and my friend had to get up to ask for a menu. After my friend got her food, we got no service at all. I believe her name was Mariah and she needs to work on her customer service! She might make some more money. I worked ​in this business for 8 years and never treated anyone like that!! Also, as a server, you NEVER assume that the change on a tab is your tip!! My friend had to ask for her change. Naturally, Mariah didnt get a tip.

For dinner, the brussels sprouts dish is fabulous--add their grilled shrimp for a delicious meal! Breakfast is fun with traditional and special choices--the grill pork chop is perfectly cooked every time!

The food is good. The smashed red potatoes as an alternative to hash browns is fantastic on the breakfast menu. The green tea creme brûlée is delicious. The service is fair. The wait time to get the food is long.

I went here for comedy one night. It was nice and clean, very open. But not very well set up for comedy or performances.

Went in with total of 4 (two of which are servers/waitresses) adults and two children, sat down at many of the open tables (place was not busy at all), and patiently waited for the server. After waiting for over 10 minutes, we watched a couple walk in, sit at a table and the server walked right up to the table and gave them a menu. We got up, put our jackets on and went to the Muzzleloader Cafe and had brunch on the table within 10 minutes of sitting down. IF YOU WANT HORRIBLE SERVICE GO EAT AT HIGH HORSE.TERRIBLE JOB HIGH HORSE......TERRIBLE....

Service was nice, food was good and ran about $10 a plate for lunch. 16 beers on tap. Ill come again.

Mariah was our waitress. She was new, so made a couple little mistakes, but she was delightful! Weve all had our first day in customer service, and its intimidating. Mariah handled herself very well, the food was awesome, and she was right on top of our drinks. Great food, love Mariah!

I only use it for the casino portion. 50/50 half the staff are great and half are not so great. The machines are mediocre. Its not quite what it was like 3 months ago but its OK... I mostly go cuz its close to my home.

Breakfast was yummy. Frechtoast encrusted with granola. Ham and eggs. Free coffee is included!
