Nice, family owned b&b. Something different. Off the beaten path. Kids loved swing all the baby deer on campus. Facility was spotless. Beds & pillows very comfy. Would stay here again.

Amazing spot for a few days away with family. Great food, service and accomodations. Staff very attentive yet unobtrusive. We had 8 adults and 6 kids ages 10 months to 6 years with us and we all had a blast! Great hiking trails. Highly recommend for a family getaway close to home.

Such a great place for a delicious meal. Food was excellent and service was spectacular. It was refreshing to have the owners walking around helping serve and seat and making sure everything was excellent. This will definitely be my go to for any special dinners.1

Making a reservation was a breeze. We were surprised to be able to get a table despite the lodge being so busy. From the start till the end, the staff were welcoming and professional . Our dinner was spot on delicious. Dont believe me? Check out the photos. We wanted a Michigan meal with a Texan hospitality. Two Hats was just that.I recommend their smoked beef brisket. Its juicy and savory, but make sure to order early on. The smoked beef brisket is the first to run out! The Michigan blueberry cheese cake (when in season) is to die for.

Outstanding meal and service! Skipper even showed is some of their finely appointed rooms. A real treat!

This is an AWESOME place for a special occasion dinner. It’s even more fun if you surprise your dinner date, since the location is off the beaten path. The first time I went to Two Hats I was shocked at the beautiful building interior, amazing food, and friendly staff. I’ve gone back several times since.

Had a fun shoot out at the ranch tonight. Company outing followed by an amazing BBQ Buffet spread. Perfect for a family outing - company party,etc.

After an amazing dinner and a relaxing evening watching deer in the valley below, my family & I struck up a casual conversation with a gentleman who worked at the ranch. That gentleman turned out to be the owner himself - who then gave us a personal tour of all the facilities and told us stories about the history of the ranch.

Had a wonderful time! Pictures dont do it justice. Very peaceful! Had the whole place to ourselves! Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

Food was comparable to that of the Colorado mountain resorts. Chef Colton knocked it out of the park. Grilled cesaer salad...man was that good. Our server and another I think server took care of us as we were the first of the night. As having two people was nice but felt as if the table was being interupted to answer the same question. Only a small thing to nit pick. Colby (of the owners) mingled amongst the 40+ guests we saw there. It was a great time. And of course pictures will show the fun of after dinner. I only have a few pictures of what really showed up to impress the crowds.

I stayed a for a few days for a long range shooting class and it is truly an awesome place. The food was unbelievable and I definitely gained a few pounds, hats off to Chef Colton and his staff. The entire family and staff, from the ranch hands and guides to the servers, everyone was welcoming, helpful, and just plain amazing. The place itself was clean and well taken care of and has a awesome set up; the bedrooms are big with a private bath in each one, large dinning hall, a large beautiful patio overlooking a field, cool bar room and lounge. I definitely want to make it back.

My husband and I booked 1 night at 2 Hats for a quiet relaxing anniversary get away. It was beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed a peaceful walk thru the woods and cocktails on the porch watching the wildlife. Also enjoyed a movie in the nice comfortable recliners in front of a big screen TV. Staff was AMAZING as well as the breakfast. This place is a MUST for anyone looking to have a quiet get away.

Absolutely wonderful staff, fantastic lodging and 5 star food. The hunts were breathtaking, and the guides knew right where the action was. Even if your not into hunting, this place is truly a great getaway!I love places where you can tell the owners and staff put their hearts and souls into making it the best. Three of us six warriors took a deer, a very nice deer. I was not one of the three but what I left with was all I needed.On my flight home I realized how blessed I truly am. The folks willing to donate the funds needed, the staff and guides at the events make these feelings possible for us. We take away a feeling that there are people out there who honestly appreciate our sacrifice.I joined the Navy 1966, medically retired 1969 from wounds received. What a home away from home! The porch had me up early watching the sun rise and late watching the sun set. I just didnt want to leave! If your looking forward to a big breakfast, plan for one. They give you enough to start your day though!

On a weekend trip that included time at Mackinac Island and hours kayaking the White River, the highlight for everyone in our group (ages 12-76) was easily our time at 2 Hats Ranch. From my country mouse nephew to my city mouse daughter, from my liberal leaning brother to my conservative leaning brother, we all agreed that 2 Hats rocked! Skipper and his crew have put together a terrific lodge. Clean as a whistle. Unbelievably comfortable. Just a great energy. When you make a reservation some place, these days you just hope its better than you fear. Well 2 Hats was so much more than we hoped. It was awesome. Just give yourself enough time to enjoy it. As the person who made the reservation...I was delighted to have every person on our trip say thank you to me for finding it.

We have never stayed in a hunting lodge so the whole experience was unique. We cannot say enough good things about the staff, the rooms, about everything. The entire ranch was white glove clean, always neat and very relaxing

I stayed at the Two Hats on a Michigan Golf Tour - what a great find! There are not too many options usually when you are in a very rural location. Generally, you have to stay at a cheesy motel. This was a remarkable exception. Its a very high end hunting lodge that also operates as a bed and breakfast. Its located on 1300 acres of beautiful forested land that you can take advantage of as well. My son and I did a three hour hike on property. The rooms were appointed like a high end home. Very well done. Each is uniquely decorated. You also have various outdoor and indoor community spaces at your disposal. The service was top notch - the family and staff are incredibly friendly. This is one of those places that will be discovered and hard to book in future. I will definitely book again.

This will forever be one of our favorite places to stay. The ranch is beautiful and the facility absolutely top notch. We felt very welcome and enjoyed meeting some of the other guests. This family run B&B is absolutely perfect.

We absolutely LOVED Two Hats and we can’t wait to return. Everyone was welcoming and kind and the whole place was immaculate!! The only bad part was the weather but we can’t control that! We walked and walked the following day. The breakfast was outstanding. My husband has been talking about the brisket omelet since he had it!! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will return soon!!

Gorgeous lodge!!! Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful property! We sat on the porch in the early evening and watched fawns playing in the meadowlands. In the morning we were served a yummy breakfast and had lovely conversation with the staff.

Great place to hold your dinner events for a mid size group! Our office recently held our annual party there. Colby and the staff were so easy to work with. Everything from the food, the venue and the friendly staff made our party better than we expected it to be. A big THANK YOU to the Two Hats Team!

We had a truly wonderful dining experience. The view is beautiful. Our host was personable and fun. Our server was friendly and attentive. Every single thing we tasted was incredible! Loved it

We needed to move our daughter from one place to another in Big Rapids Michigan. The weekend that we picked to move her was completely booked at the hotel we usually stay in Big Rapids. They had a golf outing so we looked around on Hotels.com and found a Gem! It was a little out of the way but worth the drive. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were wonderful!

Lovely stay here - rooms were well appointed, grounds were so fun for the kids to explore and see all the deer, the staff was super friendly and the food was awesome. We will definitely come back!

We had my wifes 40th birthday party here and everyone was so helpful and accommodating to our needs. The food was excellent and so was the staff (Skipper too.) The only thing better than the experience is the people.The lodge is new, the food is phenomenal, wildlife and views abound and the people are exceptional.I have stayed here for over 4 years and will continue.Side note: these are the most generous people on earth, hosting Veterans and challenged youth yearly.

24 of us visited the Two Hats Ranch last weekend for a golf getaway. We rented the entire lodge for our group and I cant say enough incredible things about the Lodge. The property and lodge itself was more than we could ever ask for. Complete privacy on 1300 acres. Beautiful views of Deer roaming the grounds. The house itself was fantastic for our group, not only did everyone have what they needed in the well equipped rooms, the large dining table sat all of us for meals, along with a full bar to store drinks, and a restaurant grade kitchen.While the property itself exceeded our expectations, it was the service and people at the Two Hats ranch that really set this place over the top. The staff at Two Hats accommodated our every need. I cannot speak highly enough of all of them. They shuttled us to / from the golf courses everyday. When I asked if we could stop to pick up Beer on the way home from the course the first day, Colby offered to run into town while we were playing. We can home to everything we asked for stocked in the fridge. They did this for us every single day.The first evening one of the guys on our trip dropped his phone and shattered the screen. When he asked Colby for tape the next morning to keep it together, Colby proceeded to ask him if he would like him to take it into town to get fixed that day while we played golf - unbelievable!Finally - the Food! We organized 4 breakfasts and 4 dinners ahead of time to have prepared for us at the Lodge. The food was better than 95% of restaurants I visit in Toronto, and very reasonable! Big hats off to our Pitmaster Colton for preparing such incredible meals!What an incredible weekend - I would recommend the Two Hats Ranch to anybody! And definitely suggest your group arranges meals to be prepared ahead of time.Cant wait to come back!

We stumbled upon this place online after a long drive. The owners and caretaker couldnt have been any more welcoming. The decor is perfect, the beds almost too comfortable to leave and the peaceful surroundings were so relaxing. Were already planning a return trip next year!

We attended as a surprise party. Facilities, staff, beverages, food, service, etc. was all excellent. Should be 4 1/2 s . Only drawback was it can be a little noisy. Could have been our exuerbent crowd?!?!?
