Mees Hall hosts the annual MERRY Tuba Christmas.... quite a nice venue being inside after years performing on the Statehouse grounds. Donations of non-perishable foods for admission. Always enticing to see and hear tubas, euphoniums, and more.

Each year, before Christmas, our family always attends the Merry Tuba Christmas concert. A fun time with family, singing along to the carols, in the gorgeous Mees Hall, at Capital University. If you love brass bands you will probably enjoy it too. Bring a canned food donation and get in free. You should look for it next December!

Mees Hall at Capital University is a wonderful hall! It has been faithfully restored to period. The accoustics are just fabulous. Seats are comfy. Easy to get to. Park in the Bexley free parking behind Market District. There are also electric chargers nearby at the Police Station.

It was a wonderful Christmas program. So nice to see the men and women enjoy singing so much. The conductor was the best.

I had an invitation to attend Capitol Universitys Christmas performance. I was totally moved and this was one of the most memorable performances Ive ever had the pleasure of seeing.

Intimate recital hall. A lot of the Early Music and Chamber Music concerts are played here. Usually the parking is okay. Enjoy the campus

Attended Capital Junior Winds Concert last week. It was a great venue for the concert.

Mees Hall is a wonderful concert facility that allows Capital University music and theater students to perform in front of moderate size audiences. I just attended a Martin Luther King Jr day presentation. It is a great place for the University and Capital family.

Capital University had a wonderful program in honor of Dr Martin Luther King Jr day. It was so rich with activities, starting with a short march in freezing temperatures. The keynote speaker Dr Ladner shared her fascinating life experiences during the many years of segregation. The Capital Univ choir combined with the Gospel choir sang together, must say, it was a highlight of the program. Don let nobody turn you roundThe workshops, jazz luncheon and food was very good. I thank God and appreciate Capital for continuing this important, needed and worthy memorial to Dr King Jr. I look forward to next year, God Bless Capital University, staff, students and all that made this years event a grand success.

A gorgeous concert hall to watch some amazing performances!

Every musical performance sounds amazing in this hall, as all do of the great musicians and music programs. Beautiful hall, fantastic sound.

You can spend thousands on speakers and mics to be able to hear your choirs voices... Or bring them to this place... Where the magic of good design meets great teaching and the power of the human voice is clearer and louder than you thought possible.

Attended the Capitol University Choir and Orchestra holiday concert. Amazing! The hall is fairly small which makes it very intimate, even in the balcony.

Was there for an A Cappella Contest. Very nice, comfortable seats & awesome sound and sightlines to the stage.
