Interesting First Period house. Built around 1680 its one of the oldest homes in Beverly. Learn about Beverlys Old Planters and the colonists daily living activities & what they had to do just to survive in what was then untamed wilderness, and eventually thrive.
This is an historical home in Beverly Ma. One of the oldest wood frames structures in the country... Historic Beverly does many events and provides tours. Nifty fact: They keep a register and sign in book for direct descendants of John Balch, one of the original 5 settlers of Beverly... I heard the latest book has 20,000 people!!! If you get the chance, check out a cool piece of American history
