My mother and I have seen over 26 professional musical productions around the world and even compared to Broadway itself we prefer NSMT!!! We always have an INCREDIBLE time with the staff, obeisance and production. I PROMISE YOU: THERE IS NOT A BAD SEAT IN THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!

Ive been to a number of shows here over the years, including a Christmas Carol and Voices of Hope. The round stage gives a unique and memorable theater experience. I feel much more immersed in the action.The production quality and acting are much better than one might expect from regional theater. The performers are great singers, dancers and actors.The parking is less than ideal, but it is free. They have decent concessions available before the show and during Intermission.

My mother in law, my daughter, and I have been going here the past 3-4 years every summer!!!! Such a beautiful atmosphere and fun for family gatherings. Makes unforgettable memories

I have loved this place since the first time I attended an event here, probably 30 years ago. I am always impressed by every aspect of the shows, beginning from the performers to the costumes to the artistic directors and right down to the minutest details, observable only to those who have been part of the performing Arts. I always come away bedazzled by how smoothly things flow and how they never cease to amaze me. Having been a dancer myself, I tend to be more moved by the artistic expression of the dancers, accompanied by the music. It often moves me to tears. I will never forget the productions of a Christmas Carol with the storyline touching me deep within my soul and the main character, David Coffee, who delivers the lines with such convincing earnest. North Shore Music Theatre will always have a special place in my heart and I will be forever grateful to Bill Hanney for raising it from the ashes! I cannot express enough how wonderful this place has become since Bill has acquired it!

We are subscribers anyway was absolutely a marvelous evening.Not sure how many more how many more times David Coffee will play scrooge , but worth seeing. All the performers were great and had some good special effects. Shows are done for us this year look forward to the start of next year. See you at the theatre

Good theater and set up. Fair production of Sunset Blvd. Difficult to tell who singing when everyone is miked. The place is small enough that I would think amplification would not be required.

We saw a Christmas Carol. It was excellent! Its a holiday must in New England. I took the train from North station to Montserrat. The station was only 5 minutes from the theatre.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Thank you to the rest of the cast that stopped to say hello. Such talent & sweethearts across that stage & behind it.

Ive been going here for more than 20 years. This is one of the best performing arts venues in the area. The round stage provides a truly unique experience.

Just saw the Bodyguard it was beyond incredible. It pulled you in from the first minute. The cast and music was amazing. One of the best shows I have seen.Thank you for bringing it to us. This is a show not to be missed.Lucille Walkup

The show was good. The rest, not so much. Waiting on line for our overpriced food, people in front of us ate out of several of the popcorn containers. Told somebody, but nothing happened. By that I mean, it was still for sale. I also understand not being able to take pictures during the show, but when the cast is bowing, and the show is over you would think its ok. Even if its not, thats not an excuse for someone to sick their finger in your face saying they have to watch you delete the pictures. It could have and should have been handled better. Again, show good, venue not. Wouldnt go again.

Great show - Bodyguard the Musical. Performers and music did a great job. Especially the actors that played Farmer, Fletcher and Rachel. Loved the many costumes changes.

Beautiful, verdant location feels amazing on a warm summer night. The theater in the round is really special. All the seats here provide good views and are quite comfortable. The architecture is interesting inside and out. They do excellent work with the stage props hanging from the ceiling, and below the stage. Tons of lighting, lots of concession stands. Unfortunately, (and Im not saying this is their fault but) the womens line for the bathroom is 2X or 3X longer than the mens. #RestroomDisparity.Overall, we totally love it here. Great performances, good production value, I would definitely recommend. In fact, if you havent been, you have to make it at some point.

What a wonderful theater to visit. I love that the stage is in the center of the room. Any seat you sit in is a perfect view. We went to see Evita the actors were fantastic, we had a great time. I will definitely go again.

Saw the Bodyguard. Show wasnt bad at all but unfortunately for my husband who needed to leave his seat just as it started was detatined outside of the theater for 25 minutes. Was upset. Missed most of the first half. They ought to say something to warn people so they can be aware. Also, getting out of the parking lot was a complete nightmare. Dont think Ill be going again any time soon. Sorry.

Christmas Carol is a classic-always clean, great snacks what is not to love. Become a season ticket holder and experience the joy my family does multiple time per year!

Loved Jersey Boys, excellent seating and you can actually see the stage from anywhere you sit! Also enjoyed the courtyard area with snacks and plenty of outdoor seating. Relaxing, entertaining and enjoyable afternoon!

LOVE this theater! Wish I could go more often! Paying for parking is totally worth it unless you want to sit in the parking lot for over an hour after the show!

Saw the Bodyguard today. The whole cast did a magnificent performance. Whitney Houston is hard to emulate but the two lead singers nailed it.

A Christmas Carol, added performance for students, saw it today. Absolutely incredible! Worked there many years ago and saw it dozens of times. Gave this gift to myself this year because I wanted to see David Coffee one more time. Still as brilliant as ever! The students were enthralled, and so well behaved. Got to pick out my own seat in handicapped section, and a great seat it was! Great and wonderful cast. Everything is always wonderful at the NSMT!

This place is magical. The whole crew makes performances here an absolute dream. All the food options on site are lovely! The Backstage Bistro has never disappointed and the Garden Bistro is great for something more casual. The whole outdoor space is so wonderful to wait for the show to begin; we often arrive early just to enjoy it. The bartenders are always friendly and they move quick! And this is all before the INCREDIBLE performances. The talent that this theatre gets is amazing. And the production value is insanely good. The costumes are always stunning and the set is so creative! A theatre in the round is always a challenge for staging, but the creative team always handles it so elegantly. I have been a subscriber for 5 years and look forward to many more seasons of entertainment here.

I love North Shore Music Theatre. We are yearly subscription holders. Today I invited guests to see Las Vegas show and sat in Section C. i enjoyed the music but I was very disappointed because most of the singers spent their time with their backs to us! Unfortunate North Shore MT. I am embarrassed to have brought my guests.. new to NSMT!

Theater in the round is an amazing experience, and the Christmas Carol is the best of New England!

Great price tickets and the kids get very close to the stage. The snacks a very expensive however but the shows are good so if you go make sure you eat first

My husband and I saw Mama Mia on August 17th. It was amazing. I kind of dragged my husband along and he loved it too!We always enjoy going to this theater. Shows are well done and talented casts are wonderful.This show was one of my favorites.Cozy theatre in the round means s great views for everyone.Highly recommend this show and any other.

A nice theater all around (pun intended). Parking is convenient and its relatively easy to get in and out.The shows weve seen there have been hit or miss.The theater is comfortable and tickets are affordable just dont expect Boston quality shows.Well be back to see more shows.

I wanted to buy popcorn and people in line were eating out of them while in line. Bathrooms were tiny and dirty.

We come here often,same shows as in Boston but at half the price,added bonus is the parking is free.

Honestly, I was somewhat disappointed by the performance of cinderella. I understand it was a non profit company geared towards children, but the acting/singing was so so. Also no water bubblers inside? Water was only available for purchase

This is a great theater with really really good performances. Top notch music singing dancing and acting in every show that weve seen there. Its a very unique experience being theatre in the round - the stage is a circle in the audience its all around them. Theres not a bad seat in the house.

Bill Hanney and his artistic director have been investing in hiring top Broadway level actors such as Tony-nominated Constantine Maroulis (Evita, Jekyll & Hyde) and Tony winner Alice Ripley (upcoming Sunset Blvd). Wonderful having such high quality theatre here on the North Shore!

My first time here. I had a great time. There are no bad seats, every seat and view is ideal. Very happy with the intermission refreshments, something for everyone. Be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater if you visit in the summer. They keep the temps pretty cool. I heard this was for the actors, who Im sure get pretty heated up. Cant wait to return.

Went to matinee performance of Peter Pan with family. I am always very impressed with the staff and shows there. The staff are incredibly organized and knowledgeable and friendly. They calmly and efficiently handle large groups of people. The shows are always good. Such talent!

Loved it. ! Only thing uncomfortable are the metal cupholders on each side of seats :( everything else was amazing :)

Great place with great shows, not only do they have shows for adults but they also have plays for children year round.

We saw Peter Pan at this theater. The acting singing and dancing were superb. Great talent, sets music - top notch performance. The only downside is the ladies restroom during intermission. The lines are way too long.

North Shore Music Theater has great shows. They are professional well presented productions. The seats are close enough to see the expressions on the actors faces. The acoustics are very good. Always an enjoyable night out.
