Paris based Tatiana Trouve first LA show, very strange. Many artists were and are exhibited at Gagosian galleries.Over two decades ago, married Gagosian picked up a pretty, 18 years old girl, working at Rite Aid, became her sugar daddy, and she had a small career as model too. He helped her to buy a condo. Relationship lasted for many many years, right under nose of unsuspected wife, him, supporting the girl financially, while her living in boyfriend knew everything. Money talks.
We stopped by for Takashi Marakami, the pictures don’t give enough credit on how amazing the exhibit is . We were in awe !! We loved it. Total worth the 2 hr commute. There is parking right down from here, free one hour and $1 for additional time. There is nearby stores, coffee shops and restaurants . The girls in the front were friendly HOWEVER the security guards were very annoying! We get it you are protecting the art but be a little friendly you are getting paid to be there .
Super cool art gallery in the middle of Beverly Hills.Entrance is free.Came to see the Murakami & Abloh America TooThe workers there could have been a little bit nicer when we asked questions..Other than that I would have given 5 stars.
What youd expect from a Gagosian Gallery in terms of artists. The openings are a bit stuffier than NY, but its Beverly Hills (a city that really lacks culture but wont admit it) so what do you expect?
Beauty exhibit in late 2019. Thought provoking!
Gagosian is one of the premier private art galleries in Los Angeles. The space is grand and has the space to accommodate massive works and installations. Visit the website regularly to see what is happening during the dates that you are in town. Parki g is free for 2 hours in any city of Beverly Hills parking garages so look for the BH Crest before you park.
Amazing thank you Takashi Murakam for the experience i love the art work. You do real amazing stuff. Everyone get youre butts down here and check it out . amazing large art work.
Amazing gallery, albeit with overbearing guards. Visited for the Takashi Murakami exhibit, and while our group was mesmerized by the incredible works of multi-dimensional art, the guards (specifically on the first floor) were incredibly rude and overbearing.Id still visit again, but a gallery of this caliber can train its guards better.
Replicated plastic dreams driven by irrational thoughts to scream of satirical distress
Saw a particularly awesome show that was only up for a few weeks. It looked incredibly fancy when we walked in and I was a little nervous about how we would be received as just regular folk with our kids, but everybody was really kind and it was like a visit to a museum rather than to a stuffy gallery.
Great Art space.
I used to work here occasionally. Very nice staff, however security, mainly isnt so friendly towards each other, which made it very difficult for me to work there, due to lack of organization. Some of the art pieces are cool, others not so much in my opinion.
Enjoy the works.Knowledgeable staff.
Free museum with a lot going on and really interesting displays. Well worth it.
Been coming here to see exhibitions since 1996Phenomenal space for viewing artwork
Underwhelmed by R. Prince ex
The best thing I can say about the place is that the interior daylight is remarkable.
It was so amazing.
Upper room has fabulous natural light for viewing photos
Oh the ego of a desperate artist.
Takashi exhibit was great.
Nice place
The rarified elite of the commercial art world in a wonderful space thats not on the Beverly Hills tourist trail. Not my favorite art browsing experience by any means, but seening the new Jeff Koons collection is better than flipping through magazines in the optometrist waiting room.
Great display of arts
A premiere spot for the art world
Ive seen lots of shows here. I like the location
Best of the best.
Nice staff and great art
A must see
Amazing space and art
