Beverly Hills Design Institute has changed my life for the better. Ive been a student at a few different schools offering degrees in fashion and this school is the best. They offer individualized degrees in pattern design and fashion design. Here, youll learn the highest quality techniques and be given the skills and tools needed to be successful and feel ready to take on the fashion industry.Every person you meet here from the students and teachers to the administrators will offer you support, guidance and words to empower you. Everyone wants to see you succeed and they will do all that they can to make you successful. At this school youll get the chance to observe a working couture designer. Youll get small classes where youre sure to get your time and moneys worth. Youll have the opportunity to participate onspecial projects where you could be working to make beautiful clothing for some really big names and important people. If youre looking for a school where you will get all of the attention that you would need as a student, somewhere where youll internalize the craft, somewhere where you can build a resume and learn, then you want to come to this school. There will never come a day where Im not thankful for what this school has done for me and for the fashion community. They are hiring quality instructors, keeping class sizes small and providing an in-depth and submersive education.

Coming from a fashion school previously, I was excited about Academy of Couture Art. The material is great, the teachers are skillful and helpful, and the knowledge you develop here is incredible. Its small classes, max students 10 or 11, and for me it works because I can get more of a one on one with the teacher. Its a very creative school, and they help you get to your goal.

I have been a professor at the college since they started about eight years ago. I have been teaching in higher education for the past ten years and I love my job! The faculty and students are such a pleasure to work with and the atmosphere is charged with enthusiasm. I also teach at other colleges and universities, but at the Academy I have the opportunity to work one on one with my students because they keep the classes to 10-15 students. It truly is an academy of art.

The most unprofessional school I have ever gone to. The Founder of the school and teacher as well had relationships with certain students and praised them more than others. She has brainwashed multiple students and has taken advantage of them. She is very money hungry.

This is the most amazing school. Mrs. Ete gives so much attention to each individual student, and loves her students all so much. She is so helpful and kind, and extremely knowledgable in design. One can learn endless amounts of information from her and from all the teachers at BHDI. This school focuses on couture which other schools do not. They have high end fashion classes, such as jewelry making and even lingerie. Your money would go the farthest at this school for sure. I am now working in fashion and I am very successful all because of this university. Thank you to all the staff there. My best wishes. :-) xxx

Mrs. Ete is the sweetest and kindest person in the world. She has a nurturing personality and will help you meet all, if not yet more, of your fashion educational goals. She has helped to become so much better at design. She is probably one of the most talented designers out there. I am so grateful to be able to work with her. All of the staff at BHDI are amazing people. Thank you Mrs. Ete!! :-) xx

My daughter began the Teen Fashion Program in January 2014. She has always loved art and fashion so I was searching for a program that would develop her skills in art, sewing and design. ACA was a perfect fit! My daughter is not only learning construction, pattern making, drawing, design...shes also learning about the business of Fashion Design and couture fashion. The program has sparked a level of motivation in my tween that Ive never seen! She has gained a lot of self confidence and shes finding out who she is and what her passions are. I feel I couldnt have found a more positive environment for my daughter. All the people at ACA are incredibly talented not only in fashion/art but also in working with teens. They give lots of support, encouragement and empower the students to succeed. I encourage any parent to take a look at this program if their son/daughter is looking for a fashion design program..

This is my second quarter at Beverly Hills Design Instiute and I am amazed at my progress. I have learned more in my first quarter here than my 3 yrs at another fashion school in San Francisco. This is not your average cookie cutter Fashion Design School. This is a Haute Couture design school literally preparing you for high quality and ethical fashion design!!!

Worst school ever. Its no teachers , they dont teach you, its horrible. They take your finical aid money. They are evil evil people. Go to the Art Institute or FIDM its better. Before you come here just know I warned you!

After graduating with an AA in Fashion Design from FIDM, I felt as if my education was still incomplete and began a search for a school that would deliver to me the high end technique of couture pattern, sewing, and design that I desired. I found the education that I was searching for at The Academy of Couture Art and have seen my skills and talents grow exponentially since I began here a year and a half ago. I have learned more and grown more than I ever expected from any institute. Because it is such a small school with small class sizes, the students are really able to get one-on-one help from all the faculty which you will not find anywhere else. The school is in a wonderful location that allows students to flourish within the high end market that we cater to. As someone who wants a career as a pattern designer, rather than fashion designer, ACA has been everything that I could of hoped for because they are one of the only schools that offers a BA in Pattern Design. I have learned so much since I have been here and cant wait for all that I will continue to learn so that I can have my dream career once I graduate.

I like ACA. I have been here for half year but I can really tell that I learned a lot. It is not very big school, but I think it make student and teachers more like family.

I am currently a senior attending the Academy of Couture Art for a BA in Fashion Design and BS in Pattern Design. I have earned an AA in Fashion Design from a different fashion trade school prior to ACA. From the first day of class, I INSTANTLY saw the difference of their high- end couture aesthetic that the other American Fashion Schools lack (FIDM, Academy of Art, Art Institute, etc). The pattern design program is impeccable and the student learns every curve of the body, and how to create nearly perfect patterns on the first try! Having worked in the industry for a short time after my first degree at a previous school... I couldnt believe that with ACAs pattern techniques you didnt need to do 5-8 fittings for the garment to fit right. The techniques you learn at this school are priceless. From flawless croquis to made to measure perfect fit garments!Prior to attending ACA, I had very limited confidence in my designs and pattern making skills. I was told at my previous school that I wasnt meant to be a designer... that is one of the most heartbreaking things to hear from a so called mentor.. but the instructors at ACA changed that. They guided me and trained my eye to design timeless and elegant pieces, as well as draft and construct them. After 3 quarters into the program, I managed to make 2 wedding gowns within 3 months! There are even courses that teach you how to make avant garde accessories and embellish your own fabric. The instructors are very hands on and are ALWAYS available to help the student. Attending this school has been the best decision Ive done to further my career to do what I love.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!! Sonia Ete is a very cruel and dishonest human. She had relationships with few students and had favorites. She does not care about you just about you making money for her.
