Floors sticky by lanes. A lot of left over spilled drinks that obviously has been there for a long period of time. In other words makes bowling dangerous. I lost my balance a lot when throwing my ball. Just poor sanitation. Because lightly is so low it hides the lack of cleanliness.Very expensive to roll.a game. I could see it justified if the place was clean as you would expect the value as part of the up keep but its dirty. Rolled 4 games shoe rental cost $38 and change.Not my kind of environment.Guy working the rental nice person but that doesnt make up for lack of up keep.

We visited Bowlero on a Saturday afternoon with kids. There are 34 lanes and we did not have to wait. They have kids youth and toddler sized shoes. Food and alcohol are available for purchase. The food is a little expensive. They also have some arcade games. The free parking lot on site is a nice bonus. I would come here again with my kids.

Was nice to get out and do an activity. The facility did have safety procedures in place for masks and distancing. The wait seemed unnecessarily long as there were available lanes when we checked in, even with allowing only every other lane to be closed off. The food was not very good considering the price. Employees were friendly and did assist well.

Not a bolwers dream forsure. The lanes are not oiled. Kids and family can definitely enjoy for a night out. Thats it.

Great bowling alley. A lot has changed since I was a kid when I had to do all the scoring by pencil and paper. With large screen TVs, a full bar, arcade, and kitchen this is a fully equipped alley. The staff was friendly and prices were reasonable comparatively.

I go with my wife to this lovely spot many times a year! This is my favorite spot to eat. I go there regularly. The meals are of high quality, the crew is professional and the cost is affordable. I like eating in this spot to have a good lunch.

The food was great but the service was outstanding. The servers were quirky and funny and had a good sense of humor that made the whole experience fun and enjoyable!

It was fun but the price to bowl was expensive and so are the food and the food not much to choose from and customer service needs improvment due to there was no one to check us in to a lane waited for 10mins until someone came to assist us

It was awesome, it was a bowling birthday party last minute but it turned out great, we had a blast... My cousin had unlimited wings (great) and pizza(great) they had special little prop for the kids to bowl with... just a great time..

Weve come here a few times over the past decade. They are almost done with some worthwhile upgrades, including an expanded menu. The staff was very nice (especially the Friday bartender), but it was clear the folks at the check in desk were still learning the ropes. We were definitely disappointed that the arcade -- which is small but awesome -- was not working. We look forward to coming back soon, when hopefully the upgrades will be finalized.

Good place for Dates and hangout. Has a photobooth, games to play, bar, food and a nice bowling place. Definitely recommend

Dinner with family and daily specials! This could easily be a girls night out to a date night. Drinks are good. Food is good. Every kid’s party we’ve attended has been absolutely stellar. I love walking in for a random time and seeing it busy. Let’s support this walkable neighborhood gem.

It is a nice place to bowl. Clean place with an attentive staff. The only thing I didnt like was that the bowling balls looked like a they had been carved up with a chainsaw!

This place is a dump. The lanes are not regulation, they arent oiled, and they are very dirty. I brought my own ball and a brand new pair of bowling shoes. When we were done the shoes were filthy and gummies from all of the dirt on the floor. (See attached picture). It has been so long since they cleaned the place there are dust bunnies. (See attached picture).I spoke with Andrew about how dirty my shoes were and he told me that the person who rented the lane was told that a person should not use their own balls or shoes. I asked if that was because the place was so filthy that it would ruin a persons shoes or ball. He couldnt actually tell me why, I stead he just going in a circular argument that the person who rented the lane was told. My brother in law rented the lane and was not told. I will never recommend this place, and if it wants to be a dump then stop charging premiums prices. I am seriously considering further action to get replacement shoes because this place was beyond disgusting.

Pretty good bowling alley. Good food and beer selection, along with a nice choice of themes for your Lanes score display. The only thing is that the price is rather high, even during their specials.

Great place as a weekend outing but staff is very sassy and rude ,two female cashiers had attitudes while we paid and the lanes are always mount functioning not worth the price

I love bowling here but thats because i love all you can bowl deals (happens on mondays, 15$ per person and includes shoes). the alley its self is okay and the staff is friendly but its rather unorganized and there are often mechanical errors

The bowling frame of our lane kept giving us issues. We had to reset it every 10 rounds. If your party is bigger than 4, itll get quite congested in the sitting area of the just 1 lane.The ambience is amazing and it gets busy at weekends in the evenings. We visited this place because we had a Groupon.

I’ve been there with my company several times over the past spring and summer this year and more than three times had a really hard working and very kind and attentive server named Samantha.She is amazing! I called a couple weeks and spoke to Jeanette and she said she would pass along my call to her manager and I was hoping to get a call back and haven’t heard as yet.So please let Sam know how great she is; my company and other friends only come when we call and know she’s there! I hope she’s recognized for all her hard work and dedication.

Had a good time with friends here. We ate Wings with Sweet Chili sauce, a couple of Cheesy burgers and an Alley sampler, our food was piping hot and fresh when it came out, add ice cold beer with a positive vibe to our bowling games we had a blast. Definitely recommend hanging out here. They have a full bar and decent food selection beyond any old alley weve ever been to. With a positive atmosphere, good music, cool arcade games, nice lanes, great food, cold drinks make for an awesome getaway in Bethesda.

Great spot, pretty good prices on food and drinks. Chris was a big help and a great staff member. However, the lanes tend to be very dry thus anyone who bowls a little more professional be aware.

This place was really fun. We used a groupon for 2 hours of bowling and another one for 50 arcade credits. We all enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back again.

Phenomenal specials, all the lanes worked great. Very modern with the ability to order right at your seats. Comfy bench seating instead of spinning metal chairs. I dont know if it was a good night or the chef or what but the first words out of my mouth about the taco Tuesday special was these have no business being this good. 2.22 for a smaller taco is a little pricey but absolutely amazing. Plenty of stock of ball variety, clean facilities, solid bowling experience. Arcade is a little small but lets be honest, youre here to bowl.

Very modern and with good food, bowling and video games. The service was friendly and the parking easy. We celebrated a birthday and it was perfect for all the age groups involved. They will play your videos and display pictures on their big screens if you bring in a DVD.

Unlimited bowling for $11 on a Thursday night !? Can’t beat that. Food and drink specials were awesome. This was my first time here and I’m definitely returning.

Went toddler bowling with two other couples this past weekend. Was NOT the place to bring your kids - even around 6-7pm. Service was extremely slow even when it wasnt busy, and they ran out of multiple dishes we ordered, only to find out 3-45 min later. Some of the staff was very nice, and the kids had a good time - so that was good. That said, dont waste your time here unless youre a teenybopper or college kid who doesnt care about decent customer service.

Interesting yet convenient location. The staff are friendly and helpful and will eagerly assist with any confusing matter. The booths are spacious, and the alleys are only a few steps away. 2 alleys correspond to each booth, but the rent per each alley is separate and fluctuates depending on the day of the week and time. Bowling shoes are required, though fortunately the price for them is fixed throughout the week. The atmosphere is pleasant with distinct retro vibes. Naturally the lighting is a bit dim. There is also a food/ drink bar, and an arcade. Overall, a great way to spend an afternoon or host a party.

Fantastic atmosphere. However, lane 25 was not up to par. Very noticeable right to left tilt. Not suitable for tournament or competitive play... The IBA will be hearing about this!

I wouldn’t go bowling here without a reservation. We walked in and they had 20 out of the 34 lanes available. They wouldn’t give us a lane stating that they had some reservations coming in soon. We said we only would play one game and they put us on a wait list. After 90 minutes we still hadn’t gotten a lane and left. BTW- one group came in for a reservation during those 90 minutes. Still had 19 lanes sitting there. Oh, and 75% of the arcade games are broken. Not impressed.

A chill bowling alley. I was disappointed that the iPad to order at the lane didn’t work. We thought we had placed an order since no one bothered to tell us they were out of service. Only one bartender so it took forever to get our drinks. I would go back since I know what to expect.

Theyve recently remodeled this bowling alley and its very nice. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. Their food is quite good also. I recommend this place for large groups, dates, or just going for a couple drinks and bowling by yourself.

The staff is amazing. Always friendly and smiling. Theres a bar and an arcade with a decent amount of games. More than Ive ever seen in a bowling alley arcade before. I go here for a league weekly and while the staff is great and we always have a good time, the lane maintenance seems to be lacking. Each week there always something going on with the ball return, or pins not resetting properly or frames just resetting completely on the second ball. Its random. Also, the lanes dont seemed to be oiled, at all. If they fixed the lane issues it would be a wonderful place to hang. I mean if you arent that serious of a bowler or not that hung up about pin accuracy, then yeah, its a good place to go.

A place to bowl and have fun, but out of the way. They can do better drink wise and arcade wise. Bowling was fun though !E. Also after reading other comments, the bar was not good. They were teaching a new bartender which I understand, but she made a 4 count in bad increments which actually made it a 2 ( or 3) count (basically she didnt hold the bottle 90 degrees and the teacher kept saying not yet but kept counting). Then proceeding to overcompensate with mixer.

Our lane was not keeping score correctly, was clearing pins when it shouldnt be, adding scores when it should and shouldnt be. You are supposed to be able to order drinks at your lane, but because the bar tender was never at the bar he never saw the order coming in. Therefore you have to go find him to place your order. Finally the food we ordered was both burned and late. Never go here!!!

Environment has potential to be a great place for adults but the bartender who served us was terrible. I shouldnt have to continously ask for my change especially when its over $20 of change. Have yet to receive a receipt. Id rather have service from little ratatouille that ran by the lane. Other than those 2 occurrences, everything else was cool.

Nice place to play, very clean and organized. The whole process from reservation to the actual party was handled quickly. The staff were super friendly, the kids had a great time. By the way there is a bar on the premises for the adults.

Overall good, but with a few issues. The ball return rarely fully returned a ball to the rack, it ended up just peeking out of the hole which is annoying and potentially dangerous. Other thing is the food seemed like an afterthought. The giant pretzel came with two dipping sauces, mustard and cheese. That sounds like its supposed to be, but it was regular yellow mustard and cheese meant for tortilla chips with little peppers and such in it. Neither go with a soft pretzel. We asked for something else and were brought honey mustard. Also not a good combo. The pretzel was just ok on its own, but really needed a real dipping sauce for it to be good.

Upscale bowling, tasty food, very good service.

Had a fun time. Only thing was that I wasnt informed ahead of time that $2.22 Tuesdays meant $2.22 per person, per game. We were only told that it was per game. It didnt bother me much because there was only 3 of us, but if you have a full game, I think this is important to know.

Great place to host an event. Manager Blake Scott made sure every aspect of our party was perfect. The fajitas party food set up was amazing. My office team raved over how great the food and service are here. Its more than a bowling alley. Its a fun experience!!!

Atmosphere was pleasant. The woman at desk the service desk was extremely helpful, informative and understanding. We had an enjoyable time. A little pricey before a certain time on Friday they offer specials on other days. We will return next time in town.

Nice lighting in the lanes area. Sufficient amount of space for playing. Bar area, as well as restrooms looks very outdated. The carpet in the very last lane over by the wall was very sticky to walk on, and it felt like it has experienced a massive spill of five large cups of sweet tea. This place could definitely benefit from a major face lift, inside and out. However, location is great, right near Bethesda downtown.

Cool atmosphere, subpar experience. Our lane was having mechanical issues, so we were switched to another lane that was also having issues. There were balls from previous games stuck in gutters and a bent bumper rail sticking into our lane. Food and drinks were unfathomably expensive.

This place is a mess. Does anyone actually work here or care? I took my family here for bowling and dinner. I cant rate the food, as over the course of 90 minutes almost never saw a waiter and never managed to flag down anyone to take an order for food or drinks. Apparently you have to tackle someone here to get service.In terms of the bowling, this place is clearly poorly maintained. Our lane frequently malfunctioned, blocking gutter balls and leaving them out on the lanes, as well as randomly spitting pins out into the alley, and we couldnt find anyone to help remove them (this wasnt just my lane, it was happening in nearby lanes as well). It just got to the point where we gave up in the middle of a game as it just wasnt fun, and we left with two bowling balls and one bowling pin still stuck in the gutter (although the experience was so ridiculous that it was sort of comic relief). Also, if you actually care about the quality of lanes and bowling (I dont particularly), our lane was very clearly significantly warped.Finally, there wasnt a speck of hand sanitizer to be seen anywhere, but thats the least of their issues.The one positive is that when I mentioned our lane malfunctioning when I went to pay, they gave us our 2nd game for free, so theres that at least.

Great experience had a great time bowling, great atmosphere.Lost a star because of TERRIBLE service. Our waitress, Emily T, was rarely coming by. We observed her tapping other people on the shoulder when bringing food and walking by lanes that needed help and wouldn’t say anything. She asked us multiple times if we were ready to close our food tab (I suspect this was because she wanted two tips on one lane) when we were still bowling and ordering drinks. The lane next to us had to walk to the bar to get drinks because server did not help them after 10-15 minutes of waiting and acted as if we were inconviencing her.Overal, great experience besides the service. We would definitely recommend Bowlero and come back again. Hopefully having better service!

What you would expect at a bowling alley, but poorly trained staff who didn’t really “get” what the customer needs/wants. Staff on phones and chit-chatting with each other. Some malfunction with the pin setup and scoring and very slow and difficult to get any help. Lots of room for improvement with staff, especially at bowling check-in desk

Had a Birthday Party there. Great staff! Definitely a far option for a birthday party.

The only thing that stopped me from giving them 5 stars is that the bathrooms were not clean. We walked in at a time when only one or maybe two lanes were occupied, I am sure they had staff at hand that could have checked the bathroom before the afternoon/evening rush.
