Last night of Mama Mia!!

Just the classic concept of turning the large barn on a working farm into a theater. Great place to go on a summer night. Lots of classic shows presented each year. They sell snacks but you can also bring your own picnic to enjoy before the show at their tables.

Im stunned that this is possibly the very best theater production I have ever seen...It is simple yet complex and the attention to details is staggering. Very true to the book.Coming from a person who does not cry in public, I was in a very difficult place by the inter issuing - I had to wipe away tears four times already.I would willingly pay to see this again at any time through the rest of the run.Amazing, amazing acting. Really is a must-see show, even if you have not read the book. And the Strawberry shortcake at the break is a bonus.Note: the barn does not have AC. But it does have lots of charm.

This is a small theater in a barn. Im stoked that my partner got us tickets for their production of She Loves Me. Actors were all in and expressive. Song and dance were alive. Tiny orchestra rocked it. Stage hands were on point and make scene changes look fun. The land, barn/playhouse, and surrounding historic farm structures set a fun mood. Plenty of parking on the grass lot. Refreshments for sale at reasonable prices at intermission. Would totally return.

Long line and wait to get tickets. Should offer prepay when purchasing. Long line to be seated. Beautiful New England venue. Not bad for community theater. Musically talented artists.

Dont do business with this guy. He will make promises and not keep them. He will offer you a site and at the last minute he will give it to someone else. Weve lost money dealing with this man. He doesnt know how to run a business. Read other reviews before booking.

I enjoy the Hackmatack Playhouse, in spite of the uncomfortable seats and awkward restrooms. The productions are usually better than your average community theatre. They used to serve blueberry pie at intermission but, sadly, no more.
