There were large colorful intricate designs to enjoy. Then ponder on how it was made, the timeframe and who designed it. A whimsical design to climb up to mixed with many items on top. Some familiar and not. Another room had a shimmering delight to pose for a photo with an unusual backdrop. At night the building is lit in a very modern way as the music plays. Well worth going to.

Awesome experience!! This is what modern art is like. Nick cave has used lot of contemporary materials to make practical art. I liked the fans covered with frills.

I give it 4 stars, which includes the extra star for being free. We attended Nick Caves exhibition. He is a much better musician than visual artist. The building itself was much more interesting than the exhibit.

I absolutely adore what NWA is doing!!! If you want some wow factor come check out this place. Not to mention you can walk next door to Brightwater, Yeyo’s, and Markhem & Fitz for the best Caramel Chocolate Torte you have ever tasted!!!

I just went here for the first time to volunteer and put up a new exibit. Its a very clean yet industrial space. Not what I expected, but very much enjoyed. The staff all made me feel as though I had always worked there, and even gave me a behind the scenes tour. What a blessing to have this unique outlet of Artwork.

The Momentary is taking all of the reccomended precautions with ample space for social distancing, many stations for hand sanitizing, masks required. Beautiful area inside and out, coffee available indoors and a food truck outside, sky bar on top level. Glad to have a contemporary art musuem in NWA, with so much to offer!

Had a lovely evening here! Started with great cocktails in the beautiful Tower Bar, then wandered around outside for a bit and reserved a time for bocce. Checked out the outdoor art, then experienced the very impacting Nick Cave exhibit. Walked over to the 8th Street Market for a bite to eat, then played an hour of bocce. Great atmosphere, everyone was friendly, everything was clean. :) The cocktails were a little pricey, but were excellent, and the bartender was very entertaining to watch!

Though we haven’t had a chance to walk through any exhibits yet, we stopped to check it out and grab a quick cup of coffee from Onyx and the grounds are gorgeous! Such a unique concept and a must-see if you’re in town visiting. For you insta-bloggers, Onyx alone is worth the visit. Your coffee is served to you on a conveyer belt. Such a simple concept, but it still mesmerizes me. Lol.

Well I did not get to go inside the outside and walking around in the late evening is a interesting experience in lighting and architecture. If youre over at the holler enjoying dinner its worth it for the quick walk around the property. we plan on stopping back later when the museum is actually open

This review is for the Tower Bar at the Momentary.(When we went to the museum portion, they were changing exhibits and we didn’t get to see any installations or even most of the building, unfortunately. The staff said the new exhibits would be open by September. However, very fortunately, the Tower Bar was open and it was incredible!)Yes, the drinks and snacks are expensive, but you are paying for an incredible view and atmosphere. Truly a one of a kind place to enjoy a posh setting and drinks. Each drink is approximately $15, but on Tuesdays, Whole wine bottle purchases come with a complementary charcuterie plate! If you want to sip a drink in the lap of luxury, this is the place to be!Also, the staff was amazing! So fun to talk to and really made the evening!

Pros: The facility has potential. The grounds are nice and its free to view the art. It has restaurants, bars, coffee and a shop.Cons: Ive been twice and the first time there was no art as they were changing the setup. The second time the art was slightly underwhelming with Pom poms in front of fans and whole rooms of metal wind whirlers. Its not a large facility so a long drive to see just that would have been disappointing.

We had planned to spend at least half a day here, since the website said they were open & everything seems really cool. We barely spent 5 minutes here. Honestly the best thing was the landscaping. There was only one room open which maybe had 10 or less pieces in it.Its not even that things were closed because of COVID, they were just replacing exhibits. So tell me, why replace all but one at the same time??? Save yourself the trip, & dont go to The Momentary. (Its only called that because your visit is momentary.)The entrance wasnt clearly marked.Where you start inside wasnt clearly marked either. Why bother opening if you dont have anything to offer guests? I would not recommend this to anyone.

Incredible museum. Its not big, it can house one exhibit, but is an incredible atmosphere and they use the spaces they have brilliantly. Located next to 8th Street Market, a path connects them with a Bocce Ball court under a huge canopy between the buildings. Along the other side of the path is a space perfect for picnics. The Momentary also has outdoor installations that are worth a view and an Onyx Coffee (decked out in pink!) Next to their gift shop. Finally, they have a penthouse bar that has 270 degree views of the town. No kids are allowed making it the perfect spot to unwind and take in the spectacular views.

I personally don’t like all of workers and staff staring you down and making sure to follow you wherever you go. I understand because of COVID-19 things have been blocked off, but what I do not understand is why only 2 exhibits are open and if we have masks on, why we can’t go about as usual. There were 4 costumers, myself included, and it took 20 minutes to walk in a circle and look at art and order nasty coffee. I don’t recommend going to momentary and especially not during the day because you can’t see the neon lights outside. My friend and I went to have a fun time and sit and drink coffee in a pretty room only to find out that room is also off limits. The coffee didn’t even taste like coffee but instead sour oat milk. That one star is for the good macroon and pretty flowers.

We tried to enter the tower bar, and were told a 20 minute wait. The lady letting people in was utterly rude, and made us wait for 40+ minutes. When we went up to ask why it was taking so long, she gave us little to no answer. Just telling us that we would get a text, and letting in other person who were on the waiting list after us. Don’t waste your time coming to bar, and for average art.

The Momentary, located in the former Kraft Cheese plant in Bentonville, AR is fabulous The architects and creators of this space used a lot of the existing walls of the former plant. The art is modern so if you like the unusual and creative, you will love this place. There is a snack bar with lots of seating as well as another Onyx Coffee Lab inside of the building. As you place your coffee order, you wait for it to be delivered on a conveyor belt. How cool is that?Bring your friends, family and guests to another interesting place in Bentonville.

So much potential for this art/event space in a re-vamped cheese factory, hard to describe. Go check it out to experience it. High art, yet accessible. Some food & drink served inside.
