Absolutely Outstanding! The time and effort put into sets, and the singing is phenomenal! Les Miserables was one of the best I have seen so far here. I am stunned.

Love the plays they do here. You can tell they put there heart into everything they do. The halloween haunted house they did was excellent(the price was great to).

Mostly in use as a performing arts venue, the Royal Theatre is owned by a non-profit called the Royal Players. They put on wonderful plays and musicals. Ive enjoyed every visit. The theatre is located in historic downtown Benton and it has so much charm and history. I love it!

The singing, acting, choreography, & stage props were exceptional! A wonderful way to usher in the Christmas season!

Attended the June 7th performance of “Steel Magnolias “. It was my first time there and I will definitely go back for future plays. The cast did a wonderful performance and we were all getting out our Kleenex at the end. Highly recommend this play.

The Royal theatre is hole-in-the-wall where magic can freely happen. The walls have painted plaster which is falling down to reveal a layer of beautiful brick. The ceiling looks like its held up by the hopes and dreams of the actors on the stage, but since nothing fell on anyone while we were there Ill say its reasonably safe (Baring any earthquakes, rough winds or sneezes). It holds about 250 patrons at a time, so purchase your tickets ahead of time. I do hope to return and see another production in the future.

I was surprised at how unkempt it was. Trash and empty soda cups sitting around. Door open to a a store room with cleaning supplies. Wasnt nice to see, also kids could get in there. Someone should donate some money to replace the old seats. I nearly fell over in a broken one.

Watched Wizard of OZ. Fun evening.

Loved the Steel Magnolia Play. But the theater needs to be cleaned, the floor was dirty, and need to check a couple of the seats.One in our group had her seat just about fall apart on her during the first 15 mins, she was afraid to move in her seat at all. We moved to diffrent seating during the intermission. But other than that it was great.

I have participated in many productions there. Its a historical building that was a movie theater that was converted into community theater. To me, its reasonably priced and good entertainment. By supporting the Royal Players, you help young and old alike, develop their talents as thespians. You just never know how far someone will go; perhaps all the way to Broadway or the Silver Screen.

Very entertaining every time we go. The musicals are my favorite. This is community theater but the shows and ticketing are done in a professional manner. I advise everyone to catch a show!

Royal is a lovely community theater with interesting plays and musicals. Converted from a movie theater, the lobby is small but the seating is comfortable and the acoustics are good. Obviously the quality of the performances varies according to the casting, but its always enjoyable to support this venue and it is a great outlet for traing young players.

Love this venue for watching community plays. Just watched a production of Sweeny Todd that would rival any Off Broadway play.

By no means did I expect professionalism from the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, but the changing of the plot line was so confusing! The Vulgarians were supposed to be part of Mr. Potts story to his children while theyre on the picnic, NOT REALITY! And also, I felt the VERY Adult jokes that were slipped into this play that was taken from a childrens book was completely unnecessary.

Convenient, free parking and the production of Sweeney Todd was so well done.

Had a blast watching night of the living dead.
