It was really nice the water is really shallow really safe for kids Id only say dont be a fool like me and go in bare foot. Bring some water shoes or something some areas have some rock I got small cuts on my feet. Its really beautiful went there for my birthday.

This beach is so nice, it is especially nice to visit when there is not too many people. Neighbors routinely collect garbage and help keep it clean. Thank you neighbors!Nice lawn and still has open amenities. Playground is closed for covid understandingly. Great boat launch, with fishing dock. Picturesque small cliffs has one of the best sunset views.

Great place to go to relax, go to the beach, swim, walk, bike, jog, walk the dog, sail boarding, sailing, launch a boat, many activities in one place. Great for all ages.

Ninth Street Park is a safe place to fish, launch a small boat, watch the sun set, go for a short leasurely walk, play volley ball or let kids play in the kids area, when its open.This small park gets crowded on weekends and holidays.Glass Beach below is a nice space to let your dog or a swim-capable child play in the water.The boat launch and restroom are open 24 hours.Public restrooms usually have soap and are mostly clean, except when patrons arent tidy.North of West I Street (north of the long crosswalk dividing the lot) closes at dusk. Park your car along the sidewalk, the center area south of the line is reserved for boat trailers.There is limited handicap parking and access.

Sweet park with a nice little cove/beach .Perfect for small groups/families. The cove is secluded from boat traffic. Lots of kids & families with kayaks.

This is a really lovely little place. Its clean and very quiet kept tucked inside of a coastal neighborhood in Benicia. Theres a play area with picnic tables and grass and the beach is down below. Theres also a full on pier where you can go fishing and a boat slip. A great place to come and clear your mind or with friends and family. I highly recommend!

This pretty little park has a lot to offer. If you want to see a beach, this is the closest place you can go if you are in Solano County or Contra Costa County. It also has a volley ball court, playground, picnic tables, a boat launch, a pier, and public bathrooms. Our family loves to walk here and look for glass on the beach. Definitely a great place to go with the family.

Ninth street park is alright, and the playground equipment seems ok. There are some nice trails with a wonderful water view. Overall, 4/5. Would park again

Nice playground with large grassy area, volleyball courts and beautiful view. Wish the edge that drops down to the beach had more of a barrier than a simple chain, my toddler ran right under it. Otherwise great park.

Its a very nice place to launch your boat, with plenty of parking.

Clean park with a kids playground. Also, there’s a trail that leads to a small beach. Lots of benches and space to watch the sunset. Spacious parking lot that’s not usually too quiet. There are homes right overlooking the park so it’s good to be mindful of the noise.

Great place, just watch out for huge gusts of wind that will take everything to the ground! Swimming down below the park or boating or fishing. Playground for the kids and picnic tables good for bday parties. Bay view is super great just above the beach.

My wife and kids love this park. It is perfect. Nice playground, plenty of parking, grass, sitting space, a spot to play volleyball and a breathtaking view of the Carquinez Bridge and lets not forget the sunset that comes with it when the time is right. You also have access to the water to walk on or go swimming. I highly recommend this park. Do bring a sweater though, it can get a little windy and chilly.

Nice area for bringing kids or family here. It has a lil beach (although not the nice sandy type, but its not rocky), grass area, beach volleyball court, 2 small BBQ grills, kids play equipment, restrooms, parking. Plus a certain houses with garden to look at along the side.

Absolutely beautiful, it is peaceful and clean. The weather was beautiful, bathrooms clean and safe parking. Boat launch and beautiful homes all around. Perfect for a peace of mind stop.

This is a great park to take the younger ones to. Usually there will always be someone else joining you so even if you have a single child she or he could have a playmate. There are toddler swings available and a volley ball court filled with sand. Down the hill you have access to 9th St beach where you can play in the sand or water. It feels very safe here.

Its a beautiful park with tons of grass and a play structure for the kiddos. Right around it is a jogging path that lots of people use to walk around and enjoy the view of the bay and the bridge. If you walk toward the willow tree you can walk down to the beach and skip stones with the kiddos. Weve done some exploring of the dock and under the flag pole when the tide is low.

Great park for the kids and there are two sand lined volley ball courts. In the summer time, the little beach is packed and is a lot of fun.

Nice safe park, great for picnic, date, or taking the kids to blow off some steam. Dog loves it. Nice that they have clean restrooms. While taking in the view stop and turn around and see some of the houses that are built above the park! theyre gorgeous.

I enjoy this park especially for the ocean breezes coming in off the Carquinez Straight and the awesome view with beautiful sunsets. There are many benches, flushing toilets, boat launch, fishing piet, playground, walking paths, picnic table, and two small beaches.

We take our daughter to a new park every weekend and this one came up in the search so we went to check it out... Great park and bonus little beach area is amazing...

This is a wonderful spot to take a leisurely walk along the water. There is a play area for kids, picnic tables and grills. You can also swim or fish. This is a dog-friendly park as long as they are on leash.

Really lovely spot. Cute little playground, Volleyball nets, picnic tables, BBQs, and a nice little beach all overlooking the carquinez strait. No trees for shade so on a hot day dipping feet in the strait would be your only option to cool off. If anyone is wondering If you can swim well I was there today and there were 3 men swimming, a woman swimming, a couple dipping, a family splashing in the surf and about 4 sun bathers. So people do it.

Wonderful area. If youre feeling adventurous, Id suggest climbing down onto the rocks by the flag pole (provided the tide is low). Its exceptionally peaceful.The play structure here is okay, and Im happy about the vollyball net.

Beautiful place for family and friends to get outside and have a picnic or volley ball game. Nice play area for kids. Well kept bathrooms. Boat dock is well maintained. Great place to watch the sunset, or the ships coming up the strait, or the trains running along side of Crockett. Gentle breezes cool you off at night, and theres always a dazzling display of the Carquinez Bridge all lit up. Great place for photographers, fishermen, bikers, kite flyers, sun bathers, and just about everyone!
