It is always a great adventure visiting this museum. First, it is free. Second, everytime I go there, I learn something new through stories told by very nice elderly volunteers. Third, you get to seen so many different and vintage pieces of the history of fire departments throughout the country. There are old fire engines, ladders, tools, axes, old insurance plates used back in time, different pumps, and tools. So many history and incredible resourceful people to explain and tell you more info about it as you go through the gallery and read some of the description of it. I have been there three times and still havent been able to read and get to know all about it. It is definitely jaw opening to see how harder a firefighter job was back in a days. Once again, the volunteers there are incredible people. Thank you all for donating your time and knowledge in order to keep the great work and place you guys have.
