Art Studio, Gallery, Learning Center, Framing Shop, this place has it all! Friendly people and talented artists display inside of Once Upon A Canvas inside the Tannery building - the only indoor mall in Benicia on the waterfront.

This is a quaint studio and a fun place to stop and shop for art. The staff is very enthusiastic, helpful and welcoming. I see they also offer classes which I will have to try!

Once Upon a Canvas has new members, new art and new energy.Basically, the shop on Benicias main street has opened up the space for more classes, added art and artists, and rearranged everything to better feature painters and photographers through a dynamic grouping of images and colors.New to scene is Caroline Patrick BorNei, a Benicia favorite teacher/artist/Feng Shui master, and artist/world traveller and Dianne Levy, whose history in Benicia harks back to when her sea captain great-great-grandfather opened Webbs lines to Australia from Benicia during the 1800s.Please stop by. Join a class. Im sure you will be pleased with the changes.
