My family and I have been going to this park for the longest time now. Its huge, usually pretty clean and super safe for the kiddos.

The kiddos always love this place. Nice open park area with kinda two parks in one. Theres a walking circle and a base ball field as well. Swings. Wooden forts. Metal and plastic slides. We drive 30 minutes to take the kids here and they are always mega excited to come back.

It’s a great park to take your kids too. Its a park for all ages. My three love it. I can stand in the middle and see just about everything so it’s easy to keep track of them.

Been going here since I was a baby and now take my son. When I was younger, the whole neighborhood came out to work together to build the castle playground. Building it ourselves really gave us a sense of community and inclusivity. I will always love this park and think of it with loving nostalgia.

Great park with an assortment of playground equipment for all ages. I have 3 kids and they all love it. There is also a pond where you can feed the ducks and a great track for running/walking. I would recommend this park to anyone, kids or not.

Castle park is a lot of fun for kids! My little has a blast. I love that they have swings and slides for smaller children and bigger children!

Ive loved this park since I was a kid and Im glad that theyve added to it without taking out some of the older playground equipment. The big robot is my favorite part and Im happy to see its gotten a new coat of paint over the years. There are several baseball fields and a fishing pond nearby too.We came on a Saturday morning and it was pretty crowded as there were lots of families there and they had softball games going on at the time. If we hadnt already had Covid we probably would have turned around. Just because youre outside doesnt mean youre completely safe. Getting the kids outside is important but exercise some common sense while you do it.

Equipment is always safe be and operable and trash cans are properly emptied, play equipment is mostly shaded and properly padded underneath , officers routinely drive by to check on patrons.The negatives are that there are no public no restrooms or drinking fountains.

A very fun park to be at, very large with plenty of space to exercise, picnic with family and friends, or just enjoy some sun.A very good spot for Pokemon GO as well.

Great place to take my 6 year old son to play and get out some energy.

I love this park, there is plenty of shade and lots of play equipment for kids. The only downside is its rather difficult to keep track of littles.

Amazing park with the kind of wooden playground I went to when I was a kid, but safe. Theres a pond where you can feed the ducks, a track, and several different facets to the play area. Highly recommend

Watched a baseball tournament. In addition to the great wooden playground they still had some old school metal slides and rooms and jungle gyms.

I grew up playing in the park and I love taking my kid to play here and make memories in the same place! Always clean and always great people there

Its always fun to go feed the ducks! My naive and nephew love playing on the playground. They do have a track but its just made of concrete, would be nice if it had more give as its hard to run on.

Played in a baseball tournament there. Not accommodating and gate fee was 10.00 per person.

Quick lake access, beautiful sunsets over the lake.

Very spacious park with a very nice kids playground. Clean play areas. Has a nice little pond with lots of ducks.

Great park for the kids.They just need a fence around the entire playground area with 1 or 2 gates so your kids cant run off as easy and end up at the pond nearby. Its very busy and huge so it can be hard to see your kids at all times.

Another park I used to love going to as a child and I now get to take my son there. Lots of things for kids of all ages to play on. A nice pond with ducks and multiple baseball fields as well. It can get pretty busy, though, so not necessarily the place to go if you dont like a ton of kids running around.

This cute park has the most fantastic castle set up here. Its fun for little kids and older ones alike.

Quiet and peaceful during the week days

The parking was a mess, the bathrooms were nasty & I guess the concession stand workers were tired of being there, but the female who was taking the orders for the items was nonchalant & alittle rude.

Super clean playground

My family and I come to this park quite often. They keep the lights until around 10 oclock. So if u come with a group of people to play sports ull be able to enjoy yourselves. If I had one request it would be that, they keep the lights on for volleyball and soccer until 10 oclock. Other than that this park is the place to go for a family outting. Nice and clean ️

Great place to go with the family. Nice baseball diamonds and volleyball courts for some time with friends and family. The playground is great for the kids to play at and lets not forget the small pond you can fish at. There are ducks, catfish, and bass in there. Check it out.

My husband played at this park when he was young. Now my daughter enjoys taking a trip to play at the big robot park.

Great place to play Indoor soccer or basketball or tennis, or just a place to take the kids to have fun, really nice park. It also has2 outdoor soccer fields.

Weather was perfect for a day at the park. This park was a favorite when my kids were younger; now its the grandkids favorite.

Always love any park. Benbrook has a way of promoting the scenery..this park is really good.....while allowing developers to tear it up the scenery and then put house 2 centimeters apart..or apartments. Do come enjoy the park. This park has been here for decades and it is a nice open space with improvements. (That it unless a developer needs to put more houses on open spaces and decides to take out the merry go round) hint..city of benbrook...we dont need more houses shoved together that have no yards..nor do we need more apartments. We need more parks to go with the big lake that has been here for decades.(And yall wonder why kids are fat now a days...you buy houses that give you no yard)

Great big Castle structure for kids to explore for hours. Well maintained. Big trees all around provide lots of sunshade. Definitely worth a visit!!

This place just gets worse after each visit! The facilities are run down and need to be updated.Also, why are the best camp spaces banned from reservations? The people like me that come out to camp several times a year are NEVER ALLOWD to reserve the best spaces! No, those spaces are held back so that the people who NEVER make the effort to plan a trip can just stroll in and get the best spots in the campground! I asked the attendant if I could reserve a space then, if the prime spot was available, cancel my reservation and get the better spot. He said YES... but I would also have to pay for the reserved spot!!!That is exactly the best way to treat your reliable, repeat customers!!!!! Thanks.

Worst baseball fields Ive seen in Metroplex. Bathrooms were filthy. Garbage cans overflowing.

Awesome park with really cool playground. There is a small play area for younger toddlers and 2 large playgrounds with lots of activities for older kids. There is a 20 foot tall robot slide that is a huge hit with my son but be careful because lots of kids seem to slide too fast and land on their butts. Also has a pond with ducks and turtles and a couple paved walking/jogging paths. There are several baseball fields as well so if you happen to visit during game times expect larger crowds. Overall our favorite park in the area!

Cool playground, field 5 has a very little backstop so there are a lot of foul balls into the playground and surrounding area. Small bleacher areas. No shade over bleachers. Only one set of bathrooms that are far away from fields 5 and 6.

This is a really nice park! Large padded play area, tons of different play structures, baseball fields, covered picnic tables, big loop for running/walking, sand volleyball courts, and more!

It is a large park with lots of things for the kids to climb on. The castle is very neat and gives room for the kids to run around, but it is still a nicely confined area. The playground has things for big and small kids to do. Watch out for the robot, small kids might get scared climbing up there and it is hard for adults to go get them. The nearby duck pond is also a big hit.

Great place for kids.I took both sets of my children(I had four, two and then two more, ten years later).Yes....same woman.People vary from snooty to downright awesome.

Great for children through elementary! Had a fly infestation despite the gazebo tables being kept clean.

Always need toilet paper in ladies restroom. Also needs to be cleaned regularly.
