Great skate park!

Oliver played with Elle. Ollie loves the dog park. All good.

This was our first visit to the small dog park. My little guy loved it. He even made some friends witb thbig boys and girls on the other side of the fence.

The restrooms are the worst I have ever seen. In a time where cleanliness is a huge priority. The sinks do not drain and the water will not stay on, and is so close to the back of the sink that your hands are constantly touching the dirty water and sink. The hand dryer wall looks as though it has never been cleaned. The fields are fine, but even if Covid was not a thing I would suggest lots of hand sanitizer or holding it all day.

I love this area but i wish the park was a little big for the kids to play on

This is a pretty nice softball complex. They dont have much shade in the summer. But it seems like we always had a good time when we go there

Park was clean but restrooms were dirty and no toilet paper. Concession stand ran out of food before end of first game on friday night and closed so nothing to drink for 2nd game.

Very nice part. Everyone is friendly. Great umpires!!!

Love to take my dogs. They have a blast. Easy in and out setup. Pretty clean. Some people just will not clean up after their own dogs

Im on oxygen & when all handicap are taken the walk is CD too long.

Was here for a softball tournament. The fields were fine. Parking was fine. But the restroom facilities are way too small to handle the tournament crowd. There were continuous lines to use the restrooms. They should not hold tournaments here unless they update the facilities.

The facility is pretty good expandable fields to facilitate different age groups. I would like to see better pitching mounds but otherwise an adaquate facility for baseball.

Large divots at home plate in the batter boxes, and next to some of the bases. 5 fields.long walking trail/ road that goes all the way around the fields.I think there is a dog park also.

It has flushing toilets which is good. The fields werent groomed very well with deep divots around home plate, the pitching rubber and the bases. The infields are deep for softball because the complex is also used for baseball. Theres very little shade. Everyone in my family ended up stepping on gum in the grass. Gross! I like, however, that the fields have some space between them (fewer deadly foul ball threats) and its nice having 5 fields right there.

Fields where okay, you can tell that theyve seen a lot of play. Parks and Rec had to make revisions to the field; surprising the umpires wanted to begin game time and the players were not able to take the field. The game began 20 min later.

Facilities are nice! Bathrooms are a 3 star, concessions are 1-2 star (just drive down the road and get some McDs)

Not our favorite facility, mostly because of the surrounding area. Fields are good but parking is kinda crazy.

If you’re hosting a huge tournament, a concession stand that opens before 1pm when games start at 8am would be nice. Fields all had huge holes where the catchers stand, that weren’t taken care of between games. Disappointed!

I use this location to start my jog so I dont have a lot of experience with it. There are baseball fields and a pet park. There is a walking path though and some playground equipment from the old Belton park there. I didnt notice and accessible restrooms that are open when there are not baseball games being was played. This would seem to be an essential part of a city public park since theoretically they want to attract families.

I hope I never have to attend a ball game at Markey Park ever again! The umpires were unprofessional & disrespectful to our baseball family. Our boys are respectful & our coach are professional. Our coaches couldnt even ask a question on the field without be reprimanded for doing so. Our third base coach was kicked out of the game for coach one of our boys on second. The umpire made him go to the parking lot!!! The umpire couldnt keep a count behind the plate & when the coaches questioned it well it just made all the calls towards our boys worse. We came to play ball & have fun in a wood bat tournament. It was made very clear to us that we werent welcome to do that. Your bathrooms are gross (I mean over flowing toilets with toilet paper and feces on the cement gross), people were rude, no shade, & the surrounding area matched that. If I were USSSA I would be ashamed to host a tournament here. Ive never left a good or bad review for ball park before but this place earned this less than one star from me.

Worst facility for a major softball tournament. Pitching mound and batters boxs had such deep holes. Catchers struggling to go after pass balls or trying to throw to 3rd base. Pitchers struggled with footing and on one field the rubber for the pitching mound was not level (one side was higher than the other). Groundskeeper didnt know it was a 12u tournament and the bases and pitching rubber where not at the correct distance. Tournament on 6-14-2019

Bathrooms need alot of repairs and a good cleaning.

Nice place to walk and well maintained , but each morning Dogs are being walked out there without leashes, most people very good about controlling them while passing you others not big dogs jump on you and owners telling us to find another place to walk. Not good for an 80 year old couple trying to gets some Fresh air and exercise. Called for Belton Police said they would send someone out but waited in vehicle no one came

‪There is a convenient dog park. The dog park is split into two groups small dogs and large dogs. There’s a water fountain in between the two groups so that both humans and dogs can have water. Honestly, this is one of the nicer places in town.‬

Its a nice park... Divided for small dogs and large dogs... Some water on site... They finally got a couple extra picnic tables but they need more... And a bathroom would be nice so we could spend more time with our dogs there... And maybe a water fountain for the humans...

Not enough shelters for rain. Concessions werent open for earliest morning game. Fields had standing water as soon as it started raining.

Filthy bathrooms, no supplies. Decent hot drinks, prices reasonable. Need more netting to protect the baseball fans.

Enough parking, good bleachers, good concessions. Nice fields. Fences are too high to shoot photos over in the outfield.

These are the worst most unprofessional umpires I have ever witnessed. I’ve been to a million ball games and have NEVER seen umpires yelling at coaches for coaching their kids “during a pitch”. When the third base coach from other team the previous inning wouldn’t stop talking the ENTIRE time. Yet nothing was said to him. The coach that was yelled at got kicked out of the entire game?! So excessive, and now the empire is treating our team unfairly. For no reason. We are a very respectful community and drove almost 5 hours from North Central Kansas to play in this tournament.Just because this is baseball doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be a level of professionalism from the umpires. It reflects directly on the ballpark, the park, AND the town.

Restroom is dirty. One stall out of order. Another stall door cant close. Disgusting with filth all over the floor, bugs everywhere. Ive been there when there has been no soap and no one cared a bit. This is first games of the day! Obviously, no one cleaned up after the previously day. Sinks are a joke. Drainage for the park is questionable, always standing water each time we are there.

Fields are very nice, the concession stand was horrible. Very slow, I think I had a birthday while standing in line.

We came in from out of town and they charged $5/person to watch our kids play softball. Not a big deal, but we arrived at 7:00 AM and bathrooms were disgustingly dirty and staff refused to clean. Unacceptable with several 16 & under girls spending the weekend at the park. I had to ask for a manger and pull in tournament director to get the restrooms cleaned. It looks like they spent a lot of money building the park, but had little or no money left over for maintenance and operations.

My only experience in the area is the dog park in which I just left there after being meeted at the gate by three aggressive pits that started to attack my dog. We didnt even make it to the play area we just turned around and left.

Made up of several fields within two easy to find locations near the water tower and Richards Gabauer Base. I have been to this location for a carnival; many football practices; a few softball games; and for the playground. It appears clean and new. I havent experienced any rifraff. There are public restrooms and occasionally concessions.

A usssa tournament and they supplied only one umpire per game. Too many bad calls but the one young umpire could not be everywhere.

There is no play equipment. Just open field.
