The employees are very rude and unprofessional. This place is not family friendly nor welcoming because of the way the employees treat the customers. You would be better off fishing somewhere else.

Decent price for bait, cheap for fishing off the dock and they have an enclosed fishing area. Hours for fishing can be 24 hours or until midnight depending on the day. And the people are great.
Great family friendly place to fish, with an indoor area to use during bad weather too! Small set of sloping stairs to get onto the marina required us to two person lift the stroller/pram down for our little one. Be aware, there are hand rails but a toddler could pretty easily fall in.
The staff here is wonderful. They had great recommendations for bait for fishing along the shore. The woman even gave my kiddos some food for the fish under the marina dock.
Was yelled at for fishing on the shoreline, while wade fishing. Next to the marina...not in the marina. I saw no signs present! The staff worker, Ms. Gloria, was extremely rude when confronting me about not being able to fish there. First she said because the gas lines were there(not to mention how unsafe these gas lines look) then she said the park was closed and until I paid I couldnt fish anywhere in the park. Many people were present in the park, at the time, who didnt pay. My boyfriend and I have spent a lot of days at this lake and have purchased food multiple times. This last time might have been it for me, with how rudely I was treated. Extremely disappointed in the Marina manegement!

Best spot to enjoy the lake with the kids
This would actually be a zero star but it wont allow that. I have tried to contact the owner several times about a boat rental and I am still waiting to hear from her. So disappointing.
This park has enough space that families can enjoy a picnic without being crowded. Tables go fast so get there early. The water is clean and great for swimming.
Great for boaters. You can launch your boat as well as gas up. If youre looking to store you boat on the lake, they have slips available.
Took my kids fishing here an canoeing. Not bad, but could be cleaned some. Trash an odd things laying around. We all caught fish though. So it was a win!!

An older marina but the folks are friendly. They have scuba diving and kayaks for rent too. Dont forget to get a quick bite at the grill.

The Kitchen ladies are great! We ordered over $20 worth of food and the wind blew it right away once we got to our fishing spot... The heat, younger kids, pregnant lady, and hungry men do not mix. That you for remaking our order with a smile! Best customer service I have experienced this far!

If I could rate lower than one star I would. The lady working here is extremely rude. Granted they dont open till 4. Me and my father were unaware of this. It was 2:45 or so. We tried to pay her to fish on the bank. She wouldnt take our money and initially didnt want us fishing from the bank. But she agreed to let us fish there stating yall have to come in at 4 and pay rudely. I said maam we tried to pay you already you wont take it. So while we are fishing more people show up and she screams at them that she doesnt open till 4. So they start fishing from the bank.at 3:30 she comes out and shouts see this is why I didnt want to let yall fish out here, look at all these people. All these paying customers mind you if she would have accepted our money. So at 3:53 we all lined up and started making our way to the door . She pops out and shouts we dont open till 4:00. Its 3:53, can yall not tell time? Yall need to get off the marina till 4:00. Me and my dad left. Flabbergasted.
Only open 3 days a week. No one allowed to fish at night 4 days a week. There is very limited access to fishing spots around the lake. The only public fishing marina on stillhouse lake that is safe and there closed. Might as well close permanently.
Updates in Oct, 2018 - They said they will open only Fri, Sat and Sunday until Mar. 1st.-----One of my favorite fishing spot in Kileen. Indoor fishing to avoid hot sun and restroom available. Early day and late night fishing available except Monday, Thursday. You can buy baits like minnows, worms, hot dogs and more. You dont need to pay entry fee if you dont do fishing inside. Need to pay for park entry fee to enter.

Took my five y/o daughter and 4 y/o son there for a couple hours and they had a blast catching blue gill! My son caught his 1st fish there, a really nice bass. Great place to take your kids if you want them to catch fish. I saw a couple other nice large mouths caught while we were there, too. I highly recommend it. There is a small fee, but totally worth it.
This is a very good small marina. The people are great, and the facilities while not fancy are good and well maintained. Only source for gasoline on the lake (no diesel though). The restaurant is surprisingly good. They make a great cheeseburger, and if youre there for breakfast, try the biscuits and sausage gravy!

The marina itself is great, however, the area around the marina has gone downhill a bit there is a lot of litter all along the banks. Its such a shame because you cant go 10 ft without seeing empty beer cans and broken glass bottles all over the bank and in the water. Get it together people!!! Clean up after yourselves and stop bringing glass bottles to the lake! There is a big dumpster near the parking area for your trash Show a little courtesy!!!!*storms off grumbling*

At the current moment the place is flooded. The marina floats so its fine but the cat walk is unstable, I dont recommend using it.

In regards to what that person commented on earlier. You dont make a special trip to the marina to eat lunch, saying that the price is right and the benches make it nice and comfy to go fishing! Good spot to chill and fish.
Been fishing there since 1992. Now its only for boat owners, entire area is privately owned now, no trespassing signs all over the place. It is really sad.

I know one thing, Stillhouse got the best fat burgers in bell co. And the fishing is good and always have a good conversation with other people. Fished there since the late 70s early 80s and cant say nothing bad about Stillhouse hollow marina.

Only place on either of the two lakes where you can get a bite to eat or fish off the fishing dock. Used to be others but they are only catering to fancy people now.

The old fat lady with the short brown hair is very rude and acts superior for no reason . also she is lazy. She was trying to convince me and a buddy of mine not to fish on the dock because there was no fish . but she was trying to go home 4 hours early and give her lover a open area from his docked boat . she kept coming out and saying stuff like , i dont know why yall are stubborn and dont listen to me ; ive been here for 9 years i know what im talking about. But she had an attitude when she came out the 4th time and my buddy caught 3 gars . she said its trash fish and she dont see why anybody would want to eat it . also when i caught a 5.5lb bass she said good for you but turned around and rolled her eyes. Thats not professionalism and the reason i know 14+ people who have never returned just because of her . she was harassing us basically breaking laws harassing fishermen

This lake is one of our favorites. I disappointed with all the hydrilla, but its still one of the best lakes in the state.
Relaxing and friendly people
Couple of bad employees know how to ruin a fishing trip for me and my 6 year old son. Was about to rent a spot for a boat, but my son said no, they mean.. Well got got other friends who got boats their too. Maybe i should inform them to leave also. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Hopefully they find a new owner soon, then maybe ill think about fishing there again.

Well my family had come to visit my son and I and we had eaten at the Marina several times and bragged how great it was to my family. But what an awful experience this time, Lets start with the girl that works in the kitchen was walking in the parking lot and asked if we were there to fish or eat. We gladly replied to eat... Well she announced to us very annoyed that we were even there that she was about to go on a dog walk, and it never fails that when she wants to go on a dog walk that someone shows up to eat. So her a man and the dog walked right back into the restaurant (with NO PETS ALLOWED ON THE DOCK sign clearly posted) I was embarrassed that we were treated so ugly and i had just bragged to my family how great of a place this was. We follow in the restaurant and there sits this big pit bull dog in the kitchen where she was about to fix our meal. Very disappointed with this experience and that was officially my last visit. The customer service is awful here
