Due to the Clovis the park was closed sad no place for the kids to play

Super cute. I was disappointed to learn the playground was closed due to Covid-19. Otherwise it looked like the kids would have had a lot of fun. And it appeared to be lacking maintenance in landscaping considering.

This is a fun place for kids! Its unique and different. They have cement dinosaur bones buried in a huge sandpit to uncover, a giant tree log to walk through and climb on, and other fun things to play on. Right next to the Rock River, and there is a small lake with paddler boat rentals. Theres also a bridge over a pond with turtles and frogs in it. Plus, lots of ample locations for fishing!

Our kids love, love, it here! Every time we go that are so excited. They love the dinosaur bones. We brought the kids cousins with last trip and all 5 had a blast together!

I love turtle island playground because its not only a fun place for my kids to play but its also fun for the whole family because of its location. Its next to the river and its surrounded by bike paths, benches, and trees. My kids can play at the playground or ride their bikes along the river as im enjoying a walk along the river or relaxing in one of many shaded areas. Its also next to a place you can rent paddle boats to take out on the river and you can also fish. I definitely recommend for all ages!!

Fun place to take the kids

This is one of the best parks to take your kids too alot of stuff for them to do and if you got tweens they have paddle boats you can ride in the summer for a small fee. Also can ice skate here in winter if ice is frozen. There also a couple of pavilions here a few open ones you can use with a permit and a very nice big enclosed air conditioned one too. We rented enclosed one few years back for like 500.00 for the day,you also need a deposit too i believed it was 100.00

My grandchildren love the big rocks to climb on and digging up dinosaurbones. I love it because it is one of the quite and most beautiful sunsets every evening God has ever made. So peaceful, educational but serene even with children playing all you feel is Gods presence and overpowering love..

It looks good. Only the rest area that is at the second floor. It smell bad. Needs to clean up. Other than that a good place to go with kids.

Beautiful park, I love it when they have water in the creek that runs through the playground. Unfortunately this beautiful place is being brought down by the amount of litter surrounding it. We also went paddle boating and the employees working were not helpful what so ever. They didnt tell us how much, just pointed to a sheet. They didnt tell us which boats could be used, the first one we went for we didnt realize was locked to the dock. Normally I wouldnt complain about that but we had our little ones with us so it was quite a project to get everyone on the boat. The whole thing was a big guessing game. We still had fun but it would have been nice is the staff were friendlier.

One of the nicest places in beliot. Even if they took out some of the badass (see dangerous) play equipment a few years ago.

Fun for kids. We had the unique experience of some either sitters or parents who allowed their child to run unattended. The Police were called when they did not respond to their child.

Such a unique park. My son loves uncovering the fossils in the giant sandbox and climbing on the rock formations. My daughter lives thur wooden playground a bed slide. In the summer there is a creek that the kids can splash in.

We went for a car show at it was awesome so Im not giving five stars because the car show was 4 stars, its because the car show is 5 and the playground is 3.

Great space for 2-7 year olds. Sandbox, little creek for stomping in, and tunnels galore. All clean and well maintained!

I love this playground! It has been clean every time we come and my son really loves the natural-ish materials used. The little crick that runs through the playground is the cutest thing. So good for littles who need to cool off. Only notes for improvement are that whoever cleans needs to look in the water, there are usually leftover cigarette butts still in there. Also, where the crick runs out of the park into the rock river, the fence has too much of a gap. Small children move very quickly and could slip under without any way for a parent to get to them. Just a danger I noticed.

Fun on the rock river for children. A nice playground so the childen can play at different outdoor events.

Love this place to take my kids. I love that I can have a little bit more peace of mind that it is mostly fenced in and my kids cant take off quite as easy if I lose sight of them for a second. Only downside is that the playground equipment is getting a bit old and the wood is starting to splinter.

A good place to take a walk in the park. They have kayaking and paddle boats and its pretty cheap.

Its clean but people sometimes fall off the playground things, Its not easy to grasp on. If you bring your kids here, make sure they know how to climb and take Extremely good care of em.

Great place to take the kids to play. Paddle boats available to rent on the lagoon. Spent many a day sitting on the bank of the Rock River fishing here. Lovely park. This is where Beloit holds their July 4th Fireworks display. The childrens play area is FENCED IN for safety as it sits between the lagoon and the river. Paves Jogging/walking path. Pet friendly!

I like that theres only one way in/out. But theres no swings. Nor much for older kids.
