Limited parking, run down buildings of minimal historical significance. Poor access to the estuary outside of the park. Not sure what motivated the City to buy this. Its a decent location if one were the homeowner, but maintenance is being left undone, and going to be costly. Can see the complete property in about 15 or 20 minutes.

Great place for a quiet summer picnic. Lots of spots to relax, plenty of space. Most times of the year, its empty.

Quaint trail exploring this placeWe combined it with Teddy Bear Cove hike to a total of 3.5 miles hike.Really amazing views on the property and a little education board synopsis of the points of interest concerning its history at the large house by the driveway

Peaceful, somewhat secluded. Great for photos, there are even trails to explore. If anyones planning a wedding here, please invite me- seems like the perfect venue.

So Ill start by saying there is VERY limited parking and you do have to make a bit of a walk down to the grassy yard space. Thats the only downside though. The grass is green, the views are beautiful and the upside to the limited parking is that you dont have to share the space with many people. It is the perfect picnic spot but I also think it would a truly lovely venue for a wedding, family reunion, backyard concert etc.

The trail was a little muddy, slightly busy. It had beautiful views. Lots of water fowl and an eagle.

The grounds were lovely to wander. There were various views of the bay. There is a map at the main house once you go down the hill from the parking lot. The walk down isnt too bad but for some people the walk back up the hill could be more difficult.

My friends got married here, it was quaint and beautiful but parking was a pill, they opted to do a shuttle for everyone which was ok.

Its beautiful! Very peaceful and quiet here, a great place for a picnic or a hike. The buildings on the property are pretty too, they are so old and they have done a lot of work to maintain them. Sorry I didnt take any pictures this trip....

This place is very easy to drive past, and there is little on site parking. What it lacks here it more then makes up for in the view. A wedding here with more then 25 people on a rain rainy day would be an epic fail.

This is a neat little park thats easy to miss. It has a small parking lot (2 spots?) It used to be somebodys homestead so it features a house (I believe its closed to visitors), a barn/shop, and a wonderful view of the bay. Plenty of grass (albeit on a hill) to picnic on. Check it out.

Only 3 parking spaces if the gate is closed! Beautiful view & property, but buildings were closed on July 3, strange for a popular vacation time.
