Had a blast. Got there shortly after the doors opened, and grabbed two good seats at the bar. It is one of those where a billion pennies are urethaned into the bar top. Pretty neat. The venue has limited seating, so depending upon your show, you may wish to time your arrival accordingly. M^3 (the 3 gals behind the bar all had names beginning with M) were great. Super friendly, and able to assist my wife with her fruity beverage choice. Recommend sitting on the left side upon entering, as there is an overhead wall which affects sound quality according to a fellow who had moved from the right side.

Been to two bands at this venue. Each time had an awesome time. No pictures from the first on this phone. But last band is photographed. A number of drinks were ordered all were tasty. It is spendy but the staff were all very nice.

Small venue which is really cool because you get up close and personal with the artists. I saw The Wailers band here in September and it was a great experience. Tons of college kids and older generation. Everyone was dancing and having fun it was a good time. The drinks arent too pricey either considering it is a concert venue.

Great music venue except that half the staff are horrible at their jobs. If you are fortunate enough to get the competent/helpful (or friendly) ones you are all set for a good time. If not... dont stay just because you paid a cover. There are other venues that would be grateful for you business.

Some great shows come through here. It is reasonably priced for tickets and they have a great selection. Bartenders are really straightforward when ordering drinks. Coat check people are awesome, shout out to Thea. Awesome space up behind the stage to lounge and play pool. Security is pretty tight, although its their job to make sure people are in a safe environment, Ive seen some issues with intoxicated people being problematic. Great space for a great time, just make sure to bring some earplugs

Every time Ive been at the wild buffalo Ive met someone that was relateable and kind. The bartenders are very accommodating and the music is always good. Even if you arent an every day social butterfly its a good place to go and enjoy your time.

Came for the event on November 30th called Tiny Dancing Queen featuring the music of Elton John, Abba and Queen. It was a good venue for listening to a DJ spin music and there was an ample dance floor. I felt drinks were a little pricey I had two Lemon Drop shots which cost almost $17. Otherwise I had a good time.

Best music venue in town with the possible exception of Shakedown. The kind of club that would require a bigger city if not for our university. They book good shows (Wolf Parade, Pharcyde, Mudhoney) and the standard Zepplin-on-ukeleles kind of stuff that makes $$. Cheap cans of Rainier at the bar and never too crowded.

The Buffalo was great as usual. Small dark and handsome, its the best place for music in a 100 mile radius. Sound quality is always good and the staff are great. The bartenders are a particularly great mix of sass and class. I have seen multiple shows here, Reverend Horton Heat, Southern Culture on the Skids, and recently White Denim. All sounded awesome.

Nice venue but security is a huge problem apparently. Kicking people out for no reason. Will not be coming back ever again. You cannot have a place that serves alcohol and has live performances with security that picks and chooses who they want to kick out with no actual cause for a majority of them.

They always double the cover with now warning. 4th time this happened. Went tonight to wink winks fundraiser the flyer saying 5$ suggested donation and when my brother and I show up its 10$ mandatory door fee. Nice. Real nice. Im disappointed by this venue over again. Wink wink is great tho.

Best little place to see a big name band in Bellingham!I cant believe some of the acts this place can book, great job! Wide variety of music and weekly theme nights makes the Wild Buffalo a great live music venue. Open dance floor makes it easier than most places to move around...but it still can get packed.

Absolutely the best kept secret for concerts in Bellingham. I saw the Crystal Method and was completely blown away by the quality of the sound system and the light show to boot! This is a local “bar” but you could almost swear you were attending a full blown concert in Seattle or Vancouver. I am not kidding you, the absolute highest quality concert that I have been to. I can not recommend The Wild Buffalo enough. Bellingham’s best kept secret - Don Hammons.

The only place in Bellingham to experience live electrified music, and many genres are represented. Really great vibes most of the time and roomy dance floor with an elevated stage that can be viewed from 2 of 3 sides. When the bands are good, its a great venue and perfectly suited to this citys young, high energy population.

Heres a story. Went to the B.oB concert last week. It was one of the best sets Ive seen. Up until London Jae that is. London Jae gets on stage. Before his second song he asks the audience Who here has ever bought p****? Obviously not censored. I thought this was a dumb question, so as a response to his direct, albeit stupid, question I said boo just one time. He looked at me and threatened to beat my a** multiple times, which he did not follow through with. I stood silent and was not disruptive during the remainder of his performance. After he was done I was thrown out and didnt see who I paid to see. No response from the owner. If you go here, dont boo even if the performer asks a dumb and misogynistic question.
