We take this place for granted, but not having it recently has given a new appreciation for what the Sportsplex really means to the community! The staff is wonderful, Mark has been so gracious during these troubled times. Hope to see it open soon, and hope the community pours more support for this facility! Great time ice skating. The ice was smooth and the music was fine. A bit busy but you cant really fault a rink for that.

Our family really enjoys the sportsplex. The Lil Hammers program is an awesome introduction to some of the fundamentals of the games. The coaches keep it fun and engaging, and my boys really look up to them. A Great introduction to the beautiful game. Highly reccomended!

The public skate here is usually pretty uncrowded, and the skates for twenty- are very decent! The schedule on the site could be better designed, but the staff are all very professional and helpful. Its good tip support local junior and childrens teams, as well.

We had a birthday party for our son and they had a package deal that came with a bouncy house and a soccer instructor that played games with the kids on the field. The staff was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Definitely a great place to go! Especially for the price.

I take my daughter and her friends here sometimes. Its pretty fun. They always enjoy themselves.

I went for ice skating lessons as a kid and happened to really like it. Wish I still had the time but will always hold the fun times I my heart. I really loved the Christmas shows and enjoyed watching and being in them. I definitely recommend trying out ice-skateing its lots of fun.️ Wear warm clothes

This January we had 30 days of rain - so glad the family was able to come here to play!

The staff and facility are great! Unfortunately they need to update and repair their skates. I went over the weekend and tried two different pairs. 1st pair was Incredibly dull and barely caught the ice. 2nd pair had the blade terribly bent sideways. I saw a lot of others with the same problem. Otherwise the rink is very nice!

A lot of stuff to do but the side where the soccer field is was WAY TOO HOT no AC on not sure but thought they would have it or at least put a few holes from ice rink side to cool down the other side. Was 88° inside but only 83° outside seemed even hotter inside though

Used to be a lot better when they had longer public skate hours. You also have to pay for the assistance chairs (not sure what to call them) when they used to be free, first come first serve.

Sportsplex is a great local rec center housing indoor soccer and ice skating. They also have smaller activities for special occasions. Watching the indoor games is really cool because you are close. The facility is usually very busy and the staff is generally nice to work with. It can be very cold in there so bring a sweater. They off many camps or classes for soccer for many different ages and leagues.They also offer birthday party hosting for very reasonable pricing. Different packages including bounce houses or physical activities for kids. They made it very easy and I highly recommend it because its affordable and the kids have a ton of fun running around.Parking can be tough because of how busy it is but usually you can find a spot in not too long or park farther around the corner. It can be chaotic in there especially when the schools start their activities there.

We bring in the most revenue but do not get the respect we deserve.Im tried of trying to find a parkingbplace when the Bells play they should not allow parking for baseball when were paying for ice time. We need a place to park. The baseball attendees take our parking places. Its so frustrating.

A lot of fun. Give them a call before you try to hit a drop in or stick and puck as I have driven in from lynden a couple of times just to find out the times have changed. Website update was a little slow.

Our son attended the Spring soccer camp and had a blast! The sessions were very organized and a lot of fun at the same time. The coaches Nick, Ivan, and Sam did a great job in setting up the daily training activities and games, and our son was looking forward to every day (5 days total). The staff at the Sportsplex is also very friendly and helpful. Marc, who is in charge of the activities, was very prompt in answering any questions we had when signing up for the camp. Thank you for making this a memorable experience for us.

A great place to ice-skate with a limited number of options.The building and the ice rink are old and outdated and need some renovating for sure.Been there a couple of times with my friends, had some good time out there.

Only took them 3 years to get new fountains, so by my estimation we should have a new roof by the end of the century. This place is a dump, they didnt even tear out the old turf, they simply laid the new stuff down on top of it and now its coming off along the edges. Unfortunate that this is the only place in Whatcom County to play indoor.

Bad facility, been going here for 5 years but the staff is really rude, the hockey director is a jerk, and he yells at people who try to play. Overall not a good show for the city of bellingham. Absolutely horrific.

Poorly maintained. Disgusting bathrooms. Poorly scheduled sports leagues qhich cost alot to be a part of. Refs lack confidence to make calls and keep games safe. Id bet money they arent given any training

A nice facility for ice hockey. The locker rooms are clean and of decent size. The ice is decent, though the west end (where the Zamboni enters/exits) is rough. If you want to watch the Blazers, arrive early - seating is sparse. The people who now run the facility deserve a lot of credit for improving it; years ago it was a real dump.

Its a great place to play: soccer, hockey, figure skate . But me personally I think its not that clean

I play soccer here and Id really like to know where my season dues and player card money goes. The roof is leaking, black mold, bathrooms never have toilet paper and I swear theyve never been cleaned, its colder inside than outside in freezing winter temps, and the staff has no idea what theyre doing. The only reason Im still playing here is because its the only place in town for an indoor coed league.

Ahhh. The plex. Bellinghams only ice rink and indoor soccer fields. The place is well loved by the patrons and has always been a par attraction. Not enough funding is spread to the ill located arena and there could be a lot more done With the space for the community. Its a fun place to go but it gets old. Needs a revamp of products.

Bought our Admission/skate rental on Groupon for $11, which ended up being $11 too much. It was the first time I had taken my son ice skating, so I called in advance to be sure we were prepared with helmets n whatnot. I was told they had little buddies for rent to help beginner skaters, but by the time we got there, they had sold out, but there were abandoned/unused ones everywhere...at least 8 or so, just sitting. The young gal at the counter said they usually sell out in 10 minutes... Then I guess they just let the little buddies sit, unused, while families are leaving due to their lack of availability...? Thats ridiculous.AND THEN... lolWe waited AN ENTIRE HOUR for a SINGLE SLICE of room temperature Little Caesars pizza.... On the upside, the drip coffee was pretty good.

Had my daughters 2nd Birthday Party here and rented the bouncy castle. The roof was leaking in several places, even got me wet at one point. There was pole vaulting going on at the same time so it was very akward and cumbersome to get to the party space. The only positive is that we were able to use the soccer fields for part of the party, as no one had reserved them for that time. I definitely will not be having another party here unless they do some renovating and get a new roof.

Ice skating here is super fun and a great way to cool off. Everyones very nice. If youre going for a sports event, theres lots of seating and parking.

There was an ice skating camp today before the public skate session. They did not zamboni until an hour into the public skate session. I had to get off the ice 40 minutes in because the ice hurt too bad to be on. Then as people were returning skates they put up a sign complaining that the laces werent being tucked in. Then they put all the skates back on the rods with no disinfectant or antifungal spray. I will not be bringing my kids back.

Skates are a bit old and the Ive gets torn up pretty quick, but it is a fun option for the family or a date. Dress warm, it is an ice rink.

Beautiful facilities...! And thats where it ends. I tried to take my family here for a nice afternoon of ice skating (which is only available a few days a week), the employees here were more concerned with turning a profit and having fun than keeping people SAFE. I even made an employee aware of the crowd and she kept ushering in more customers. Not only was this ice rink overcrowded, it was to the point of being unsafe. I paid to have us all skate and I didnt even attempt due to the level of how packed it was. My daughter did one lap and we left. TRUELY unsafe to have that many children and adults skating together. Hope your up to date on your insurance.

Awesome place for parties for all ages. You can rent a party room and skating or rent the human bubbles for bubble soccer. For the adults, watch the bellingham blazers hockey team or the bellingham United games (great beer garden). Fun adult soccer leagues for all skill level, drop in soccer or stick and puck hockey. The list keeps going...

My kids have learned to ice skate here by taking lessons during spring and winter break. The staff is friendly and the students that help with the lessons are good role models for younger ones.

My son plays indoor soccer and we alwaYs have fun watching and watching the young kids at birthday parties.

Great rink, spacious change rooms multi sport complex...although no heaters for spectators.

I rented out the ice rink for my youth group. It was fun, inexpensive, and the staff were great and easy to work with.

Saw the WWU ice skating team here and had a blast!

Short, infrequent public skate times and very uneven, choppy ice. Get there right after the zamboni has run. They do however offer many great sport league options and classes for figure skating.

Nice ice skating rink. its the only one around. Cell phone service is poor inside. It is not run by the city of Bellingham so you dont get the great free Wi-Fi either like at the city pool. They have an indoor soccer field on the other side but Ive never tried that. Its cold on the ice skating side so wear your hat and coat
