Heather who owns and runs the space is an absolute gem! the space is huuuuuge, stocked with everything you need to explore possibilities in clay, and heather actively cultivates a welcoming atmosphere for those interested in furthering their voices in clay. if youve been shy to start, this is the place for you!!

My husband and I are on our second wheel-throwing class at Burnish and totally love it. The staff are all exceptional, and the space is really well set up for everyone to work comfortably. He’d never worked with clay at all before, and I’d taken classes in many other places. Burnish is definite my top choice in the Bellingham area.

Im so happy that this place exists. Not only do they offer ceramics classes and studio space, but they also have a great selection of clay, glaze and tools that I see to have to go all the way to Tacoma to acquire. They also have the sweetest studio pup.

This was a great experience. I learned so much and the environment is very fun. Lots of natural light in the studio, which is also a plus. Ill be taking another class.
