Small, but a lot of interesting items and vehicles to look at. The docent was very friendly and informative. I enjoyed learning about the fire trucks they had on display. My daughter has been into firetrucks lately and enjoyed seeing so many close up. Affordable and fun for the family. You can easily walk around the corner to the new Steelcraft for lunch!
My husband watches the show Emergency with our son that has autism. They have been planning to go for some time now but they wanted to stop at the museum and see the trucks and get some gifts. The museum wasnt open but my husband called the fre dept. They said come on over! They showed us around and were great with the kids. They also had a few things we could purchase but bring cash! Loved what you guys did for them! They are so happy they could stop and see it all. Thank you for taking the time for a tour!
Another item scratched off my bucket list. Was taken on a tour by Gordon and had a fantastic time. Very knowledgeable. Great feeling being able to see and sit in the vehicles that started my passion to be a Firefighter/Paramedic when I was 14 years old. I retired 9 years ago after a 31 year career. I owe it all to the LA County Fire Department and Emergency.
Really enjoyed this museum of historical fire artifacts. Beautifully restored engines and paramedic vehicles. Docent volunteer, Ron, was very friendly and so informative and made the visit more enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting.
We really enjoyed our trip to see this amazing collection. We had a 1st class and personalized tour from a very knowledgable fireman who had worked on crews that used several of these trucks, so the information he gave came from someone who really knew what he was talking about. The trucks from the tv show Emergency were a special treat to see. Its easy to understand why so many men and women who work in emergency services give their financial support to this Museum. I think its one-of-a-kind in that regard.
Great place to visit. Staff is very friendly, full of knowledge of the various historic fire engines. Ill definitely return.
Beautifully restored engines and paramedic vehicles. Really enjoyed this museum of historical fire artifacts.
Home of Engine and Squad 51. Say no more. Great displays also.
Took the grandsons here today. Very interesting place. One of the volunteers walked around with us and gave me tons of information on the fire vehicles they have. Very informative. Really nice and clean.
Great room. Collection is small yet very well restored and very diverse. Get place for an event with attentive staff.
Great history, and the Emergency Engines 51 were so cool to see in person..a part of my childhood coming to life!
Been here a few times. The exhibits are amazing and the staff is even better. You wont regret a visit.
Loved it. Childhood memories brought back. Huge fan of Emergency
Great displays, great staff
Fire buffs can see Squad 51, both Engine 51s along with lots of Fire Department equipment.
Amazing visit. We enjoyed learning all about the many different engines and rigs on display. The history of the fire department. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are also very dedicated. Unfortunately I had a little episode where I almost passed out. They literally came to my rescue and took care of me. They didnt make me feel embarrassed, just cared about. Thank you to all the volunteers who made our visit memorable.
The new facility is amazing. The effort that went into creating the space really shows. Great and friendly staff
New apot for an old museum, but call ahead for open schedule, it took a few visits before finding the doors open. The fire trucks displayed are rotated, so youll can visit every few months. Kids are free.
Great place to visit if you have an intrest in the fire service or a fan of the TV show EMERGENCY!!! The home of Engine and Squad 51.
