We go out to the campground and have days full of fun. It is beautiful. It has full hookups and shower and bathrooms

You can pay a somewhat high price to stay and have amenities (playground toilets showers electric) or free on other side with primitive.

Cute little beach with a sand volleyball set up. Its well manicured and there are spots to have lunch under a covered awning and campfire.

Our most favorite place to camp! Cleanest camp area with large sites. Lots of things for the kids to do.

This is the campground you stay at if you are in the area of Mt Rushmore and you forgot to make reservations. Or if you like fishing. Its in the middle of nowhere and the park leaves a lot to be desired. If there was a water tap somewhere, we didnt find it. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were good but there were no lights in the bathroom. On the plus side the camp sites are right on the water, but if its a windy day youll feel it. Lots of home town if you head over to Belle Fourche.

So nice clean shower and nice fishing. I loved it so much want to go again!

We go camping here 4-6 times a year always have a good time, decent fishing fun Park and good bathroom with showers, so much better after they added the second boat ramp

Its nice to be on the lake but it always seems to windy there. But enjoyable to hang out.

Great campground with spacious sites. Dump station available. We had fun kayaking on the lake. Only downside was a lot of flying bugs.

Good fishing. Quiet. Reasonable prices. Call ahead though for reservations. We were at a group site. No hookups. 17 bucks a night. Dump station. Water fill station. State park. Well kept. Good family environment.

Expensive for nothing! I have stayed in beautiful campgrounds in Montana that were the same price but with 10 times the beauty and amenities that rocky point has. The beach in the group camp area is nasty. Will not camp here again. Its a shame they are going to make the lake a managed campground. Fix the beaches...no one likes to pay for a mud pit filled with bushes that a child could end up getting hurt or worse. Would not recommend this campground to anyone.

Great camping area, this area needs rain but not when im camping.

Stayed in campsite 12, which backs up to water. Generally quiet, nice views and beach. Pit toilets were clean, but not good.

Great campground. Lots of space, well maintained, great showers and bathroom. Good price for 30A spot. Only negative is you MUST use a central reservation system to camp here ... hassle.

I stayed here for two nights and the facility is top-notch. The only downside is it is more of an open space with some trees, it is not in the woods or Forest. But I had an excellent place to camp and have no complaints.

Beautiful free campsites on the lake or you can opt for paid sites with hookups. Marred by the usual empty beer cans and other trash that people leave behind.

The lady at the pay shack is really friendly and helpful! The dumping station is very clean!

I have been coming here since it was first opened. You can get sites right on the water.Whoever designed the dump station should get a talking to. There is only one drain and two would have been so easy. Also dont bother calling the number on the website, they NEVER answer the phone or return calls.

Amazing park!!! Very very well maintained & bath house was as clean as mine at home, spotless!!! Campground host was super friendly & so was people camping or RVing.

Great place to launch a boat and enjoy the water. Cleanest vault toilet I have ever seen!

Loved it! Even though things were still covered up in snow & the lake was iced over, it was stunningly beautiful. Cant wait to see it in the summertime.

Not the Orman Dam of 20 years ago. Vast improvements to the camping areas. The beach/swim area is not sand, but pebbles and a little clay. Water is pretty clean for lake water. Very quiet during the week when were there. Lots of camper hookup. It was too dry to light a fire, but that would have made the trip nice. Volleyball and horseshoe areas, along with a large covered picnic area. If you want to avoid the $6 entry fee, there are plenty of areas around the lake to visit and swim if you dont mind the mud.
