I love this movie theater. Really good prices. Although the drinks and popcorn can get kind of expensive. The sound is pretty nice and the screen is a good size. The /seats could use some improvement. So overall I think with a little more work this would be a great movie theater.

Love the old AMC theaters but I hear this one is shutting down.Hate if its true because it has the most potential. And I can totally ride my bike to it...like a kid.MAC always has the best movie selection, more previews, and to be honest...i like the old seats better.Maybe they just plan to remodel it.Fingers crossed!

The theatre went downhill so fast when it sold. It never got the attention it needed (Seats needed replaced and it needed a good deep cleaning, the floors were always sticky) and in an era in which it’s easy to find newly remodelled theatres with reclining seats and fresh concessions, it’s pretty easy to see why it didn’t make it. AMC didn’t care to put any money into it so it failed. I hope someone else buys it and revives it. It was nice to have a local theatre and I’d even be ok with it being older movies, one of those discount theatres. Bella Vista keeps asking what they can do to get people to spend their entertainment budget here.... well... !

Small but Im so appreciative of having Sugar Creek so close. Ive a granddaughter who loves movies and has to see everything that comes out for kids in any give year. If it werent for Sugar Creek, Id have to drive so much further and spend so much more money and time. I really appreciate this local Theater and sure hope they stick around for a LONG time. I also very much appreciate being able to buy a popcorn bucket early in the year and then pay a decent price to fill it up to overflowing on each trip! Thanks for being here Sugar Creek!

The prices are good, concessions are too high. The worst thing was the sound. We could not hear, so we moved down toward the front. Still could not hear. I asked the girl in lobby to turn up the sound, but we still could not hear well. The side speakers did not sound like they worked at all.

Usually attend at any given chance, but that may start to dwindle. If you purchase a movie ticket you should be able to view the entire movie or at least be treated respectfully when you miss some scenes and would like it addressed. Not have a manager tell you they wont compensate you (even with a free voucher for a later movie) because you technically saw the entire movie and then spoil the ending as though you werent missing anything big...The name of the manager on duty that said this to me was named Brittany Marcotte...never been treated like this before when my movie ended prematurely due to equipment failure...everyone else is apologetic and sympathetic...Also, please just fix the equipment or not use the malfunctioning viewing room...this is the third movie Ive been to and this has happened.

Saw Rouge One, good movie. Sound so loud it damaged my hearing, my whole family came out with ears ringing. Do not go here.I spent whole movie with fingers in ears when music on. Out during speech.Spent $50 to have hearing damaged and the heat was off so we were wearing our winter coats. We will never darken there door again. Also the staff knew the sound was bad and the heat was off.Dont waste your money.

I agree the Bella Vista theater needs good cleaning but go sometimes as close to home. I only see films there like Gone Girl, Joy, etc., as screens dont do justice to sweeping epics & action films. Biggest complaint is on occasion distracting noise & vibrations from movie next door so loud its hard to enjoy film you paid to see! My son & wife refuse to go there for this reason. Wonder if a manager is actually there most of the time to monitor sound quality &/or conditions of theater. Sad & reason I reluctantly drive to Rogers to view films.

Certainly one of the smallest theaters Ive ever seen a movie. The theater we saw our movie in would hold about 150. 15 rows of 10 seats with 5 seats on the right and 5 seats on the left. It was handicap accessible. Saw American Sniper there which is a great movie.

I would like to keep this place a secret. It is a small theater with comfortable seating and digital sound/projection. The secret is that it usually isnt as full as the other theaters. Ive seen multiple blockbusters here, on opening weekends, without large lines and packed houses.

The only reason this theatre is in business is because it is the only one in a city of 25k people. They dont use the front ticket booth, overpriced concessions, theatres do not have movie logos outside of room, seats in theatre are old and uncomfortably, surround sound is shot, visual display looks 10 years old, bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, heating and A/C do not function properly, and the entire theatre hasnt been cleaned since 93. After all of this, I would still go out of laziness, but now their popcorn machine is broken and they didnt tell me until i bought my ticket. That is a blasphemous line you do not cross hence my review.AMC I implore you to renovate this location ASAP. Bella Vista is changing and Sugar Creek needs to as well.

This was the worst movie theatre experience Ive ever had. I love AMC theatres and the quality of their theatres, but this theatre was nothing like a typical AMC theatre. Not only were our Stubs rewards robbed from us (which was fixed by a wonderful woman in corporate), but no Popcorn had been made, the theatre itself was dirty: a baby booster seat was sitting sideways and upside-down from the previous audience and coke, Popcorn and the like littered the floor. The staff was mind-numbingly unhelpful and lazy. I didnt see a single one of them lift a finger, except to use our rewards despite us wanting to pay cash instead. To top it all off the staff members were sitting on the concession countertops when we came out, again, not lifting a finger. I am very very disappointed with this theatre and will not be visiting it ever again. Id advise anyone thinking about it to steer clear. If youd still like to attend an AMC in the area I highly reccomend the Fayetteville AMC as it is MUCH MUCH better and worth the drive and your money. Again, I love AMC theatres, but this one was not a true AMC or a reflection of the company that values experience and quality.

This is a small theater that still hires local people to work there, and they are very friendly. However, almost every time Ive been there, teens have been working, and while theyre friendly, they are more interested in flirting with each other than whats going on in the theater. I took my children to see Minions in 3-D and we sat through 15 minutes of the movie with it being out of alignment and it wasnt in 3-D. When I told one of the attendants, he acted like it was a big deal to fix it. This was the second time Id been to a 3-D movie at this theater and had issues with the picture. Jurrasic World, weeks before was also out of alignment and the movie was being shown on the back of peoples heads. For the amount of money people spent to go to the movies, they should be able to enjoy them without these kind of errors.

Terrible. Place is disgusting, seats are Terrible, the line was as long as the great wall of China. No management doing their job to reduce wait times. Malco is cheaper and way more professional. This place charged me $17 for a medium drink and a large popcorn. They kept switching the location to buy tickets without communicating to anyone where to move next. It just seems the place is ran very poorly. The associates seemed to be working hard, but the management did not seem to care. I would recommend just driving the extra miles to Malco for a better all around experience.

I like the convenience of the theater getting in and put but they really have problems with their concession stand. They have these refill buckets that are kind of expensive (Malcos popcorn is really cheaper) but the worst problem is that the law requires them to place liners in the bucket before refilling them. More times than not we get told Oh......we are out of liners....sorry. Besides being a health code violation, this is a way to serving lass popcorn to the customers. We told the workers of the health code violation aspect and they always say Huh?

Cheap tickets but not very clean. Dusty curtains in the theater and the lobby needs some upkeep. Restroom was clean but urinal had a trash bag pulled over it and there was caution tape over a sink. We could hear the action from the screen next door rumbling in our theater. Kind of pulls you out of your movie when you can hear the next movie over. Cant go wrong with the ticket price tho.

Review №26

Ok. I know one star is bad, but honestly, what a dump of a theater. I thought they were in the middle of construction because I saw a hand written sign in the ticket window saying to just come inside and someone would help you at concessions, But when I made a comment to one of the attendants they were puzzled why I even asked. There were broken arcade games (which I dont play, but they were noticeably out of commission by the entrance) wooden pallets leaning against the walls? I was so confused, but I had an amc gift card and a few hours to kill so whatever. The restrooms were gross, the theater doors were grimy, like a layer of nasty on them. The movie itself was fine, it was movie, no technical issues besides the obvious age of the projector, but it was FREEZING in the theater. If I was with family or a friend i would have asked for my money back before the movie started. AMC should pull there name from this theater if they can. Couldnt pay me to go back. Unless you have no expectations of a good time and your just ridiculously bored, avoid this theater at all costs. Serouisly, drive another 15 minutes into Bentonville.

It had been a few years since I was last here, which is apparently the last time it was cleaned. We had to sit in the front row and there were dried pools of unidentifiable liquids in front of us along with assorted candy. Me an my family love this theater and go all the time. The popcorn bucket saves us tons of money and we can all share...and the beverage pricing is much more affordable as well. .Yes, it is a smaller venue and not quite as comfy as some of the pricey more modern cinemas, but if you are looking for great family value in a clean environment with friendly service, this is the place!

Came tonight on the 18th to see a movie and the sound was awful the speakers where crackling and when I went up to get some me food they had closed down the consession and we still had over an hour for the movie.Would rather pay the extra couple dollars the other places charge. This place is not a place I would recommend. Also when I made a complaint they shut down the consession so early the boy behind the counter said it wasnt his problem.

2017: we went back after the AMC transition so see if anything improved. The smell is better. However, they cant scan the AMC cards to redeem tickets or rewards. It takes 25 minutes to get prepaid tickets because they sell tickets at the concession stand, not that you need them because there isnt anyone tearing tickets. All while no less than 6 employees are standing around doing nothing. At least we did get to see the movie this time.2016: this theater seems to have things going for it. They have great deals and a convient location. Sadly, the management takes no pride in this. The theaters smell wet due to an ac leak and the employees are not trained well. The movie we tried to go to was over sold or the young boys in it got tickets for another and snuck in. We left because there were only 3 seats for the 4 of us. The employees did refund our money but didnt seem to know they could which was surprising after seeing the 10+ people above us on the refunds for the day sheet. This was at the first show of the day, they had 4 people working 2 registers at the concessions. If they had sent one person to do tickets it would have fixed this problem and no refund would have been necessary.
