Gorgeous view! Amazing day spent on the road with hubby! Made complete with a walk on the foot bridge!

Great place to walk around and learn about the history of the town. Came here in April - I can only imagine how bustling this quaint town is in the summer months.

Nice downtown area and was neat to walk across the bridge. Restaurants looked really good, too bad it wasnt a meal time for us.

The Harbor Walk in Belfast is quintessential Maine with boats large and small, shops, pubs, restaurants, scenic views and historic plaques.

It was a relaxing destination. The sunset was breathtaking.

A nice detour between the Harbor Walk and Rail Trail. This bridge provides a great vantage point to photograph Belfast or the Route 1 bridge.

I grew up here and have so many memories. Its a beautiful place and bridge.The footbridge is a pleasant walk. Can be bitter air over the ocean, but worth the view.Ive modeled on this bridge and its of my favorite sets.However, I had more fun with my friends as nd the community of belfast.I do miss the bears though...

Belfast seems to be pretty supportive of things that are artistic! I visited the town because they were hosting Tuba Skinny, band famous from New Orleans. The next day I found myself back in this town for an outdoor Contra dance held on this outdoor bridge. Way cool! The weather could not have been better. The music was great, the dancing was fun. I just wish I didnt live so far away from the town, because I would be back much more often if I lived any closer!

We had about as much fun as you can have on a bridge without jumping off, I suppose.

Nice 2.2 mile hike along the river. Old railroad so the trail is flat. Somewhat buggy.

This a popular walk. It is part of the Harborwalk through Belfast and ends at the Boathouse. Beautiful views the whole way.
