What a treasure! Theatre West Virginia is located in Grandview Park (former Grandview State Park) 4700 Grandview Rd., Beaver 25813. Take I-64, Exit 129 Grandview Rd. north 6 miles to Grandview Park. The 2 mainstay Historical Outdoor Dramas are Hatfields and McCoys and Honey In The Rock. You really got to go see these excellent performances. For over 50 years, Theatre West Virginias dramatic amphitheatre in Grandview has provided more than one million visitors with the excitement of outdoor musical drama. Prior to the show, make sure you take a walk to the Grandview Main Overlook across from the Grandview Visitor Center. From the Main Overlook, you can view 7 miles of the New River. Grandview is the most beautiful place to view the New River from ANYWHERE in the New River Gorge! National Park Rangers prior to the show from 6:30 to 7:30 pm every night (except Monday) talk about the history and heritage of the New River Gorge at the Grandview Main Overlook.
