While visiting our in-laws, rather than have my son veg out in front of the TV, I signed him up for their winter baseball camp. He has a Little League tryout coming up, so it would help keep his skills fresh. The camp and facilities arent bad. Weve used an indoor facility locally as well as played summer travel ball, so Im comparing against our experience. But, if youre in Beaverton, and your kid likes baseball, the yard seems pretty good.

Great Baseball Camp. Very organized educational instruction that is fun for our son. We dropped another camp this year to add a second week at this well run program.

My great nephew goes there two times a week its a baseball academy not just batting cages theyre taught by ex professional players and theyre great with everybody

Brought in my son whod been out of baseball for 4 years, but wanted to see where his pitching ability was at with all the time off. They have a former MLB pitcher Chris Pine (No, not the Star Trek actor) who was very friendly and humble which is something I dont expect out of people with that kind of ability and knowledge. Without the use of slow motion video, he was immediately able to identify mechanical flaws that reduce velocity and increase injury risk. Due to commitments in a different sport, we cant get personal lessons for baseball now, but it would be an easy choice if we did. That kind of knowledge, with a genuine interest to help is hard to find. Also just as important is his brutal honesty. You will know exactly where you stand, and what realistic expectations would be.

Zoe has been great working with my 13 year old daughter. Her confidence and skill are building.
