Great park, lots to do..whats not to love??? We visit here often and the kids love it!! So many different playground toys, benches & picnic tables. They also have a shelter house but lack restroom facilities, with nothing more than a port a potty. In addition to everything Ivee already listed, they have a sand box area for the children to play in. Great Park..kid tested, mom approved️

I love going to this park with my family. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around and there is a nice place with tables that you could sit and eat at. This is the park that has the huge metal slide and the legendary spin bucket. If you know, you know.

Nice, hidden away park for families with kid, with large playground areas. Actually has lot more picnic tables than you think - under the one pavilion and under permanent umbrellas. Took away one star for small size and only one available portapotty.

We came here simply for lunch, but found new grounds to recommend to parents. This is a small park designed for children, and amazingly engineered. There are two pavilions with tables, and both face the entirety of the park at opposite ends (so you can watch your children play with ease). We saw children from the ages of around 5 to 13 and they were able utilize different areas of the park. Sections for young children are designed playfully with cute alligators and other fun equipment. Older children have access to areas you typically expect in a park, and your pre-teens have access to more complex exercise/climbing/exploration equipment. The most interesting piece however is the hill slide. Perched on the top of a small hill, this slide is about 4 to 5 slides put together. It is metal and literally every child wanted to play on it (which is great for wearing them down). Might not have been the park we were expecting, but well be telling our friends where to go so they can entertain their littles. Highly recommended.

Shoup Park is my kids favorite park. Beavercreek Parks and Rec does a fantastic job keeping the park in top top shape. We also like it since it has the longest slide in the county. Look for the free wax paper to use when side. It helps you slide faster down the slide.

Shoup Park is always a pleasant experience for my family and I... There are plenty of benches for worn out parents, and quite a bit of variety available, for varying age ranges. My 3 year old and 10 year old are equally entertained. Be kind, be polite, and youll have a great visit! Good for 30-60 minutes at a time, I would say.

Wonderful park with lots of slides and different areas for toddlers to grade school children to play. My niece loved the big slide and Im glad to see that it is still there since my sister and I remember it very fondly from when we were kids. I took off one point because my own 14 month old daughter was more interested in the mulch play surface than in anything else. A rubberized play surface would let crawlers and early walkers play.

Okay, this is one of the best parks in the entire area! And I know because I have a very active grandson and we drive around to tons of parks all the time. And he loves this one, too! It has an amazing, long silver slide. I promise, your inner child has dreamt of this slide! (Tip: bring wax paper for this slide for your kiddos to really get going. Not recommended for really littleuns.) It has a top notch playground, including swings for kiddos that need extra help. It has an amazing zip line! And they just added more parking! While there is no actual bathroom, they do have a port-a-potty for emergencies. There is also a McDonalds right down the street if you need it.

Love the super long metal slide...part memories of an earlier time in life before everything was plastic and part because it is such a nice ride for the kids. TIP: There is a green plastic container (like a newspaper box) near the end of the slide. Inside are pieces of wax paper which if the kids sit on, they will have a really fast ride. Careful with the younger ones on the wax paper!

Very impressed with the variety of play equipment. Kids loved it. Several covered seating areas for shade and a picnic pavilion. Parking is close to park and lots of benches. Able to see entire play area from any of the seating areas which is a huge plus. Didnt have an actual restroom but did have a port-a-potty. Also had a drinking fountain with one to refill water bottles and a lower one for dogs.

Shoup park is one of my grandsons favorite parks. I had not been here since the warmer summer months. This past weekend during the first part of January 2020 we had a nice day. My daughter and I stopped here to let my 3 year old grandson run around and play before going home for his nap. Our favorite activity is the zip line. We all like to ride it. He also loves to go down the tall shinny slide at the back of the park and of course to go on the swings. They have swings for bigger children and swings that lock you in from above like a rollercoaster ride for the younger children. We couldnt stay too long today because the park was still damp from days of rain and the temperature was only in the mid 40s. I look forward to coming back here to play with my grandchildren on warmer days! Until next time be kind to each other. @shouppark @yelpcincy @dayton #weekendfamilyfun

Love this park for the abundance of playground, their parents/child swings, and that the park grounds are always pristine. The only complaint I have is that when I go with my almost 2 year old, the older kids are always playing on the little kid playground sets. Nothing the park can do about that, but still.

This is probably the best playground park in Beavercreek. It has alot of new equipment. Jungle Jim, Zip line, Swings. It still has the Big Slide. The slide is not as smooth as it used to be so it can get bumpy. Not for real little kids or someone with back issues. There is a shelter for parties. There is a small parking lot but there is parking in the grass. It can get really crowded. It is a non smoking area but people smoke anyway.

This park is a new favorite of ours. It’s big and has lots to do. Also, a different selection of structures than we’ve found on other playgrounds.Probably the most unique thing is what my husband calls the zip line. I’ve frequently found the handle bar you hang from and whiz across a level bar about 7 ft. Long. This is a similar idea. But instead of a handle bar, there is a long pole with a circular seat at the bottom. This seat hangs about a foot and a half from the ground. Depending on height, size, age, ability you can decide to either sit or stand on this seat. My two year old boy sat on it with no problem. But considering my large belly getting in the way, I decided to stand. Anyway, this thing is twice as long as any other I’ve seen! And it’s like a very wide “V” shape. So it gives to momentum in the first half to make it back up through the second. So fun!!Other unique attractions include a SUPER long slide (not actually very steep, but at the top of a hill and quite long - some families bring paper to sit on in order to slide faster), statues of large turtles and one of those large disc swings.Such a fun place! I take my boy here when we’re in the area.

Last year they renovated it, and now its amazing! There are play sets for all age ranges, a water fountain for sipping, filling bottles, or watering the dog, and the are picnic tables. The only thing its missing is better parking and restrooms. They have a portapotty, but I think if they could have running water toilets that would be best. Also, street side of the park only has a fence covering half of it. Why?! There needs to be a fence along the whole length, because drivers in the area seldom follow the speed limit, and the edge of the park is too close to the street.
