This small local art studio has patient and kind instructors. The owner, Tabitha, is active in and takes pride in her community and business. Whether you make an appointment to paint on site or pick-up to-go kits (since Covid19) youll love them.

A good place to enjoy and have fun by yourself or with your kiddos or partner. My wife and I went to this place to enjoy doing an activity together. We enjoyed painting a display plate with our names and the date of our marriage and painting a letter, same letter of our initials, with the date of our marriage too. They have different activities that anyone can enjoy, Kids Art, Clay Classes, Adult Painting, Group & Private Lessons, Scouts, and Clay Lab Memberships. We did a pottery painting, and they have a big collection of pottery art or stuff. As an examples, the have mugs, teapot, frames, gnome, and many different cool pottery that you can paint. When you come, they will tell you to pick up the art you want to work on then they tell you how to paint it. Also, they will guide you through colors selection, brushes, and other useful tools to write letters or draw specific shapes on the pottery. The price includes coloring, glazing, and heating the pottery in the oven. So, don’t worry about the price because you will use multiple colors and work for a long time. They have a wide area with tables that you can sit with your company and enjoy your time. The employees were friendly, nice, and welcoming. They were ready to help at anytime during your work. The place is children friendly, so you can bring your children and spend a fun time together working on a project. There’s a parking area.I definitely will return to this place again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves to spend time with family, friends, kids, partner, etc.

Great walk in projects. My kids loved it here. Took a parent child pottery class with my 5 year old. It was an awesome experience. Definitely recommend. They also have classes for children and adults.

My daughter and I loved the Homeschool pottery class! She got to see an old friend and make a new one! Plus, the beekeepers presentation was so interesting. Were both really excited for the next one!

I enjoyed it so much there... I thought it was a facility only with kids but I was mistaken... I went there with some of cousins and we had a blast... many good pottery stuff and you can design them however you want... I spent 5 hours in this place and I totally lost the sense of time... such a nice experience there and especially for families and young kids... I absolutely recommend this place...

The space was very open and inspiring and the staff was absolutely wonderful! Ripley, Ray, and Caroline were a real joy in helping us get coordinated and were great all around. We happened to find a small table off in a corner during a big event that was going on and we had a wonderful date there overall.

Our Girl Scout troop (high school aged) did a pottery class at Decoy. The girls had a great time, and our instructor, Tabitha, did a great job leading the activity. Our girls are already talking about their next trip up there!

My three year old and I walked in and did a project. This was our first time. We started with the 2 for $20 figurines. She finished hers very quickly so I got her another. The little purse was $10. We used the acrylic paint this time. We enjoyed ourselves. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back.

Great place to come with gfs, bring some wine, enjoy some snacks and relax by painting some pottery or working on a craft project. Last time I came here, I came by myself, but I made some new friends who warmly welcomed me. Everyone is so friendly and the vibe is so chill.

My daughter and I love this place. Weve been here multiple times making presents for loved ones. Its a great way to let children and anyone for that matter express their creativity. My daughter always has a blast picking something out and painting it all on her own. We will definitely be going back. They have events and you can have parties there too.

I ***LOVE*** this place! Fun for ALL ages and experience levels. Definitely my new favorite place to spend my days off in Beavercreek. The idea behind Decoy Art Studio is simple yet genius. Yes they offer art classes, but all during the week they also offer what they call Walk-In Paint-Your-Own-Pottery where you show up, (during work hrs & no reservation needed) choose a piece of pottery from one of their shelves, (TONS of design choices) and sit wherever youd like and they supply all the paint, brushes, and supplies you need. Studio artists/employees are available to help you as needed also. When youre done, you pay for the pottery item ONLY - avg. $20 (as everything else is included) and they fire it in their kiln for you and you pick up next week. If you dont finish the same day, they will hold it for you and you can come back later at no additional charge! Excellent option for a date night or family night, instead of any of the other Painting With A Twist options you will find on Groupon - and its MUCH cheaper with more options to pick and paint whatever you want, how you want, at your own pace and skill level, and all for one price. My wife and I will most certainly be back. See you there!

We took the “Date Night on the Wheel” private workshop and the four of us had a blast! Megan is an informative and patient teacher. She helped everyone at the level they needed and made the evening so much fun! We were all able to throw a bowl, which will get glazed and be ready for pick up in a few weeks. So excited to see them! I highly recommend taking a clay class at Decoy. The studio is organized, clean, well-lit, comfortable and so cute! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I think my friends are already signed up for one of the 101 Adult Clay classes because they had such a great time! Thank you, Decoy!

We love it here!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Acrylic projects usually come home with you same day, whereas ceramic painting and takes 7-10 days until theyre ready for pickup. Would absolutely recommend. Its so fun :)

This is the friendliest art studio in the area. Most of the employees are laid back, and will learn your name quickly if you are a regular. It isnt just a studio, it is also a sort of art club, where you can hang out and discuss projects and ideas. The classes are great; very well thought out and structured. The instructors have degrees in fine art. This is a great place regardless of whether you are a child or adult, new to art or a pro. You will learn something here, and their facilities are high quality.

We stopped in after googling something different to do. We went for the ceramics, but they also offer painting as well. There is a lot of options in the ceramics and we ended up painting some bowls. The staff was helpful and we had a great time. Would go again!

So fun!! Was here for our work Christmas party earlier today and have already talked to my sister about taking my niece and her there. Truly enjoyable; very nice staff and (potentially) good art work is to come of it!

I loved coming here! This was the first time Id ever been here, or to a place like this. I had a wonderful experience and the studio had wonderful staff. The only negative was that the pottery seemed a little pricey, but then again, Ive never been to a place like this so I dont know the standard.

Decoy Art Boutique and Studio hosted my daughters Ariel Birthday Party. We couldnt have asked for the party to go any better. They were able to let me in early to set up what they hadnt already, they handled everything...INCLUDING PICTURES, the kids had a great time doing different Party Theme related crafts, the parents and grandparents had a place to relax in the lounge area, and the entire staff was as catering and helpful as could be, they were more like family. I would suggest Decoy Art to anyone for any type of Party or occasion! Thanks again ladies for making it a great time for all.

Decoy is a fantastic place to bring your family and friends for a night of pottery painting, its also perfect for learning how to throw pottery on a wheel with Kilnmaster Megan or have the littlest ones in for a sensory class!

The Ladies at Decoy Art studio are amazing! We held a private party and painted our hearts out. There were several different pairings going on and the ladies were there to help with each one. It is a great time with friends and you get to take something great home. Some of our girls had fear of the canvas but after a few brush strokes all was well. Thank you thank you thank you. We will be back soon.

Staff is wonderful and you will have fun. I came here with a workgroup and was a great experience. Plus i dont paint but they made it fun and hands on. Will have to come back with my son sometime.

One of my favorite places for classes! They have a wide variety of classes and have always been very flexible for parties. They have something for the novice and experienced alike!
