I was lucky enough to sail on the Sloop Woody in 2012. It was amazing,beautiful,and one of my fondest memories of that visit. Hoping to be able to share the experience with friends this year. Make the time-you’ll not be disappointed.

These folks do at least three seasonal festival every year: Strawberry, Corn, and Pumpkin. An amazing amount of work and it is free - just like the sails they offer on the Woody Guthrie, a ferry sloop. They carry on Pete Seegers vision. Bring people to the River and they will love it and take care of it. And they are a Sloop Club, not a yacht club!

One of the best places to learn about the history of the Clearwater movement and the Sloop Woody Guthrie. A warm group of environmentalists, activists, and musicians. Monthly pot luck and circle of song is an American cultural treasure.
