My 5 year old loves it here! While the birthday packages are pricey, its a fun family night to have with the kids. Especially younger ones. They really love the arcade and my husband and I really enjoy seeing them have so much fun. Just make room in your trunk for prizes. 40 dollars goes a long way in the arcades.

Giving it 3 stars because of the atmosphere and the barkeep only. However, the man & woman taking payments for bowling have some bad attitudes & decided for no reason whatsoever to repeatedly tell us if we didnt have masks on we needed to leave or wed be made to leave. We were all wearing masks from the moment we walked in the establishment until the time we left & we were wearing them in the correct way so their harassment of patrons & attitudes are unnecessary. Those 2 need either an attitude adjustment or they need to be replaced. Had it not been for those 2, I would have given 5 stars because its a decent family place.

Okay, it is clean, they do enforce the CDC guidelines encourage wearing a mask and social distance. Food area could use more help and training on customer service.

Go on a Tuesday or any day ! I went on a tue you get half off and is a clean and respectful place , the food is ok and the arcade is fun! Play the connect four basketball game we had a great time with that one get out and have fun !

Cameron the manger has lousy customer service. I was quoted a price for Tuesdays Happy Hour $2.17 per person laser tag by the employee (Emily) working Cameron game room area. She was great and even helped me load a new card. We finished bowling to find out it was $7.58 a person. Cameron was contacted to say Oh Well she shouldnt be quoting prices that is my job. My last trip ever here! By the way the rest of his crew was fabulous.

Great time, lots to do. Warning, the pizza is TERRIBLE. It is by far the worst pizza Ive ever had! $20 for awful pizza!

The customer service I received today was beyond my expectations! Ms. Beata was the sweetest and attentive to our every need.They were only 2 lanes available in the evening because of the leagues playing. But its worth the wait and they have a good amount of arcade games and also Lazer tag to pass the time while you wait for a lane and a good menu including a bar. And Tuesday and Thursday they have 2$ special on shoe rentals arcade games and Lazer tag. Ill definitely be back.

My bf and I have always enjoyed Max Bowl of Baytown. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Good place for family to be entertained.

This is a great place to have a good time. The staff were very friendly when we went. We had a coupon for kids bowl free and we were 4 minutes late but the lady in the check in got us in. Will definitely be returning very soon.

Bowling is OK. Nice lanes. Dont believe the hype of cosmic bowling it is no more. You have to ask someone to turn the music up. Also the laser tag is small and lame . Not much room. Not worth the price. Much better at other facilities. Also they cant make a mixed drink to save their life. I would stay away from here. Much better places around if you are willing to drive.

Attended a kids (poorly organized) birthday party. Grandma of the birthday kiddo was constantly having to track down staff members for party supplies (drinks, food, game cards).Aside from party logistics they should improve food menu options to include vegan items and other diet restricted alternatives.Edit to clarify: max bowl was responsible for all party aspects except cake and presents- which were the best part of the party.

Jannie the manger at Max Bowl dosnt even deserve the title manger she has been there for ++years and still doesnt know how to run a establishment as a professional and that has alot to say about the people above her as well as to why they even pay her when her employees are the one doing her job for her but are drastically underpaid might as well save the company some money & let her go & split her salary to the employees who actually know how to do HER job and their job as well

Our nephews love this place. They enjoy the spacious lanes and atmosphere. We had a good time with family and the staff was kind and friendly. Prices were good for 5 people playing 2 hours. We will return!

Max Bowl - Baytown was a fantastic experience! We went during Spring Break and I thought it would be super crowded, but it was not.This bowling alley offers great deals through the week for customers. They also expanded and added a large arcade area, with a sky walk and laser tag.

They are always wonderful! Especially when we bring our youth group for an activity. Because of our travel time to and from church, they made sure our bowling lanes started on time, shoes were given and youth were ready to roll. Bobby advised me what time to start our laser tag games to ensure we made it back to our church on time, then he reserved the time at the laser tag counter for us! Extremely poor customer service. Very rude staff at bowling area. Came in 3/7/2020 for my daughters bday party and older female at register named beate immediately rude asked what do you want. Asked for 2 lanes, 1 for children and 1 for adults. She says no, there is a minimum of 6 players per lane. We have done this in the pas . She proceeded to say that Im not dealing with YOU people today. Her manager standing right behind her not saying a word knowing she could hear the entire conversation. Long story short. We got our 2 lanes, bowled and left never to return again. Sad to see poor management and poor people skills ruin a good business.

Very fun for the whole family, well at least the bowling side! Went for my sons birthday it was a blast. From bowling then to the soul crushing arcade.3 star rating is because of the arcade and how expensive it is. $1 for a game that you push a button to possibly win tickets I think thats a little high. Unless they changed it from 3 months ago, more then half of the ticket games where $1. 5 star rating for the bowling alley part. I refuse to go back to the arcade. I remember when I was a kid and all ticket games were a quarter. Arcades are breaking parents wallets all for some dollar store items won with the tickets. Seriously $1 to spin a wheel or put balls into a bucket....The food was okay definitely would recommend eating before you come. All in all 3 stars, not perfect but not too bad.

We always have a great time at max bowl! Very nice, clean, upbeat, and well organized. My son and I played the basketball game, did the virtual reality ride thing, and of course bowled, two games. Had a great time!

Had a great time! There is an ATM behind the ticket machine (we had a little trouble finding it!) The food was a little expensive but the portions are also adequate for the price in my opinion.

We did the kids bowling program this summer. Im so excited my friend told me about it. The people are always friendly, theres tons of lanes and its always clean! Super family friendly and always has some type of promo going.

4/28/19 Edit:It took Max bowl a little while to correct my past experience but they did a fantastic job. Everyone at the bowling alley was fantastic and attentive. Pizza was actually pretty good, and laser tag was a blast. Cant thank you guys enough for righting a wrong.After fixing this, I will definitely be back.

Just a fun filled place for adult and kids!! With the addition of the arcade be prepared to spend some time and money but its worth it!!

2nd year in a row that we were kicked out due to a private party. This year the turned our game off while we were in the middle of a game (I had 2 strikes). The attitude of the staff and managers were very unprofessional and uncaringMy family and I will not return to this establishment and will tell anyone who will listen.

Very clean, awesome staff, and good atmosphere. Best bowling lanes around. It tends to get a bit chilly in there so bring a jacket. Food is amazing! We have ordered or tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed!

Since the renovation this place is really fun to spend some time to play some games. I havent tried the bowling yet, but the game section is the best in Baytown. A mix of older and newer games for fun game play and of course the chance to win prizes. This is fun for all ages and you decide how much you want to spend by loading money on the game card.

Kinda pricey for 3 people between the drinks, bowling, and other activities. Well look for the specials and promotions next time. We had a blast regardless.

The activity direct was so amazing. It was a cluster and she made sure we had a great time and everything ran smoothly. Id give one star for staff so not helpful always had to get manager for assistance since staff didnt know what to do.

Very impressed with how this place changed. Came here with the family and had a great time. Not too expensive and also very clean. Bathrooms were clean as well, a big plus from me. They do have food here such as; Nachos, Hotdogs, Burgers and even alchohol. Very Family friendly.

I’m giving a one star because I really enjoy taking my kids to bowl but every time I go up there they never have a lane open and it’s all about the league players really what about the folks that want to take there family to bowl!!?? I see people walking out the door and getting turned away so they can cater to the league I went up there and was told they had one lane open I put my name on the list and then they gave it to someone else while I was there max bowl you need to rethink the way you treat ppl there are others that want to have fun as well

Overall it was a wonderful experience. I had my sons 5th birthday party there. I had around 45 guest. We had 7 lanes and bowled from 11pm to 2am. I had all my guest arrive by 1030pm to ensure enough lanes and space. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was Friday night and we were there for Cosmic Bowling, however the lights were not working for the Cosmic atmosphere effect. Everyone still had a great time. The children played in the arcade (games ranged from 1 to 5 dollars) and 20 of my guest were able to play laser tag all at once (5 dollars with a party of 10 or more). My son was so very happy. The bartender was awesome! My guest were extremely pleased. They even made my son a virgin birthday drink and that made him so very excited. The grill staff were also exceptional, I ordered 10 platters, 4 pizzas, and 6 drinks, it was a last minute order and the had everything ready in 30 minutes. The only con is that I would have liked some type of package deal with at least the food, with the amount of guest I had, but overall, the service and staff were the epitome of what superior customer service is. Thank you Maxbowl Baytown for making my sons 5th birthday an experience he will never forget!

Came in on a friday and it was very packed. There was a 45 min wait but there seem to be a large group. We decided to wait and play pool. Unfortunately there werent any cues available. All the employees seemed to be on there toes but Mike definitely went the extra mile. He was very sincere and accommodating. Little things go a long way and we will definitely be back.

Do not come here for fun!!!!! You have to be a pro and white with a flask of liquor to fit in. Our 3 year old son tried bowling for the first time and we had an older lady run to our lane with an attitude telling us how we were bowling the wrong way!!!! Who does that?????? We brought it to the managers attention and she of course went along with our complaint but didn’t do or say anything about it LAME!!! First and last time we visit this place!!!!!!!!! We just moved to Baytown and thought it would be cool to have a place to hang out with our kids, but as it turns out Baytown does not have that many family oriented places to go to

Its a great place to bring your kids if you want to do some family bowing or have some fun at the arcade but what I thought was one of the most fun things there was the skywalk where you walk on these various tightrope like courses and you have a rope attached to you so you can be safe even if you fall.

Everything was good except for the restrooms. They were dirty with toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor.

Just did a birthday party for my son there. First time I have been since they redid everything! Kids had a blast bowling, laser tag and playing games! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was really good! The AC felt so good!

Took my boys in to play the arcade. We went in shortly after noon and the arcade was busy. There was 2 people working and they were so polite and helpful. The girl was so patient with my son on the skywalk. We then did laser tag and she was great help on instructing my boys how to play and setup their harnesses. Will be back. Boys had a great time. Since they remodeled and expanded their area there is a lot os activities. Of course bowling part is still regulation lanes so you get to watch the real bowlers when they are there. They have food, wine ,beer.and spirits so can relax and enjoy.The other side has lots of new amusement games, overhead walking, and laser tag which is very good because its two levels with a lot of hiding places
