I wish I could give zero stars but its not an option. GO TO HOBBY LOBBY, you will receive better customer service. I drove over 50 miles in the rain during a pandemic to purchase a specific item. The item was sold out online and the website indicated the store had plenty in stock. After arriving at the location, I was unable to locate the item and ask for assistance from an employee who was very helpful. The employee reviewed their inventory and discovered that the item was in stock, but he was not able to locate it. He consulted with a manager , who also checked the inventory and noted the item was in stock. I informed the manager that I had driven over 50 miles to their location and she also check their inventory and noted it was in stock, she look at the overstock where the item should have been stock and said it’s not there. I was told we can’t locate it and then she proceeded to brushed me off, with nonchalantly attitude.There were more employees in the store then customers at the time, the manager was more concerned about stocking the store then seeing to the customers needs. This location does not care about customer services. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable, needless to say I left very angry. I will be shopping at Hobby Lobby from now own.

Heaven on earth! I lose myself in Michaels. Im so inspired by all the different products. And the clearance is worth the digging! Though I would appreciate it being kept more organized and tidy. The way stuff is displayed (gently thrown ) in clearance makes it difficult to see whats available, and discourages me.

The employees are always helpful and willing to help when they can .. I needed a specific tree and everyone was out but one store .. they only had one and they set it aside for me , so nice..

This is great alternative to Hobby Lobby. They are open 7 days a week which is a plus. I was able to find what I needed and I can use teachers discount. Even if the item is on sale. Got happy planner.

Well they had everything I could have wanted except for someone that would help me find what I was there for looking for hinges and a clasp for the box I was building and had to buy a box to get it left my glasses at home and the ladies there all told me it was on that isle but not one out of four workers would take me to them. They should probably inspire at least one or two of them to want to do something other than put things on the shelf and wipe the counters... Although I understand with the new plague going around all I would want to do is clean too.... Kudos to her for trying to stay safe in this time. God bless

First time in store ask a Employee about the price of having document framed and matted size 8x10 she looked at me as though I was insane and stated she had no idea! I walked away looked around different areas of the store saw a bracelet with a smooth stone just hanging on a clearance hook for 1.77 without a price tag,after looking to find another another bracelet like it but unable to do so,I again asked the same Employee to assist me. She looked and agreed it belonged in the Clearance area but after looking at a totally different looking bracelet with very rough rock on each side for 8.99 she stated that was the price.I politely told her that looked nothing like the one I was I inquiring about. She then stated it would have to be put in damaged property!Prior to leaving g the store I again saw her and ask for her name which she refused to disclose, As I was checking out I ask the young cashier for the store manager who. She stated was the person I had spoke to.... I ask her name and was told she could not give it to me nor could she give me the no. for Corporate!!! I did get her name supposedly Taylorfor the cashier. I left the store and was in parking lot when the customer that was behind d me in line walked up to my vehicle and stated it was her first time as well and as soon as I walked out the door the cashier and manager were talking about me in front t of her and other customers at that time she told the cashier she was needing to be checked out so she could leave. I appreciate her telling me how truly unprofessional the employees are. I will not be a repeat customer!! Pathetic Service very unprofessional!! There should be a contact number for customers to make complaints if need be.

It is perfect if you neef a picture frame, craft works, necklace stands or working on a house flower project

Limited Halloween ribbon choices. The condition overall of the store was poor. Empty shelves, messy organization and items on the floor. Could not find sales person on the floor.

The store is still well organized, especially for Black Friday weekend. Just returned a tri-fold board I use for my Puzzles because I got the most expensive one by mistake. No problems with returning it. So I picked up a few more frames for my Puzzles along with another puzzle to commemorate the release of the latest Star Wars Saga due out this month.

Didnt have what I needed. Weird thats its an arts and crafts store. But didnt. Have paper mache letters of any kind.

Needs more variety in the store and needs to be stocked.

It was a great idea to stop in at Michaels to do a little bit of Christmas shopping. I was able to get some great keepsake gifts to give to family members as well as great deals on holiday-themed items. The cashier was extremely helpful and allowed me to use my coupons for the best savings possible.

Pros:- very friendly and helpful staff- good coupons and plenty of sales- products are good quality, but you get what you pay for. I love that they carry economically priced goods, but have higher end brands too if you need something more professional/ better quality.- clean store (excluding bathrooms)- variety of products- price checking stations- in-store pickup Cons:- organization can be lacking, especially during sales and restocking. The yarn section is usually crazy and a lot of the clearance items are stacked haphazardly into bins or missing clearance labels. This adds a bit of extra time when trying to find what I need but I get there eventually.- understaffed at checkout = long lines and long waits during peak hours.

Meh.., they need more hobby and less craft.

The staff in Baytown is very friendly & helpful! There are weekly sales online & in-store so youre always going to find amazing deals! Oh, cant forget the famous 40% OFF any one item

I love craft stores, I mostly come to Michaels because they have a better selection of yarn and paint than alot of the competition.Prices are good. Store is clean. Staff is always friendly and ready to help you of need be.

Have a great selection of art supplies and crafting things. They also have like generic items that you can purchase at much cheaper price than the the name brand things like The Pastels and charcoals.

The staff is friendly & they always have unique items there and I love that. Theres a nice selection of just about everything you need in there and its always organized. However, I only shop there when the items Im looking for are on sale because Michaels can be a bit pricey. But if you can wait until they put it on sale, because they will, then youll get a great bargain!

As everyone else has said. Its a lot smaller than the Hobby Lobby down the road, but it seems to make this store feel a little more family-ish... if that makes since.

Love this store but the customer service here is terrible. Online pick up always takes a minimum of 10-20 minutes of just waiting around for one item.

The lady in the framing department helped me find what I was looking for. She stopped what she was doing to walk me all the way to what I was looking for and even gave her recommendation. Once I got to the cashier they were nice also even set me up with the Michaels rewards

Helpful workers but if youre going to buy yarn, you should find a different store. They hardly ever get new stock in and when they do its such a small amount. Their yarn supply is much smaller than most other Michaels. They dont clear out old stock for new stock so youll see the same skeins on the shelf barely untouched for a year+.
