We recently rented a theater at Schulmans MBG for my sons birthday and it was a wonderful experience. It was a great way to get out of the house with family and friends while still being able to social distance, yet still feeling like we were celebrating together. The staff was enormously helpful from beginning to end. Chrystal was happy to answer all of my very many questions leading up to the day. We loved the movie we picked, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend them to everyone! We loved every bit our experience.

Fast service. Good food. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. We sat down in the grill and had a quick lunch before seeing 1917. The sandwiches were tasty, and the drinks hit the spot. She got us in and out just in time for the previews.

We went there today to celebrate my nieces 5th bday with bowling The waitress was so accommodating. She went over and beyond to make us happy. She was sweet. We ordered the surpreme pizza and the cheese pizza. They were delicious. Highly recommend going to this all in one fun.

This place is one of the few reasons we go to Bay City. Enjoy the games, bowling and movies. Especially the old movies on the big screen.

Very nice theatre. Its new, opened earlier this year. The theatre has reclining seats, clean restrooms, the concession stand is easily accessible, and bonus: you can order food and have it delivered to your seat. If you dont feel like watching a movie, the bar and grill has comfortable seating inside, or even outside on their covered patio. Theres a nice game room and bowling alley to keep you actively entertained.

First time actually watching a movie at the theater. Previously, we have visited the bowling alley as well as the arcade. We have always enjoyed this place. After visiting other theaters that have much nicer seating, I have to say Schulman’s is just okay. Very clean facility and awesome staff. I will definitely visit again. Don’t get me wrong, this place is nice just that we have visited some really nice theaters in other towns.

Some may say that to be successful in business you have to focus on just one thing. Well they clearly havent been to Schulmans! The bar has a huge selection of craft beers and domestics on tap, with a good food menu as well. You can take any of it into the theatre and enjoy a film, or hit up some 10 pin bowling or the arcade. Truly worth a stop if you find yourself in need of something to do

I would recommend this as having 5 star service!!! But DO NOT!!!! I REPEAT!!! DO NOT!!!!! APPLY FOR A POSITION ON THERE STAFF!!! I was set up for failure and fired without a reason as to why. I hold value in my work ethic and gave 100% of my attendence and work ability to this company. If you do apply keep in mind this post. I hope this gets around to honest workers before it is removed. But I will do my best to make sure I post around to other review sites so everyone knows.

Caught a movie. Fresh popcorn. Comfortable seats. I got to see an old flashback movie with my kids, one I wished I could have seen in the theater when I was young. It didnt break the bank. Great time with the family! Ive gotta do that more often. The place was really clean too.

I am so glad to get a theater here in Bay City. Before I had to drive 45 to 90 miles and it took all day just to see a show.

Such a fun place for everyone. Theaters are clean arcade has cool fun games bowling is fun for the whole fam and they’ve got food. All around great place for everyone!

The facility is clean and awesome. Large recycling seats and not crammed together. Food is yummy. Game Room is fun and has a nice variety. Customer service can be hit or miss. Overall, I enjoy the experience. I prefer the facilities over Lake Jackson or El Campo. El Campo customer service is more friendly and welcoming though.

We are not from Bay City we needed something to do with our three-year-old this was definitely a good spot and I felt like this was the only place for a family night. One thing I really enjoyed was the fact they had the condiments inside the theater room so you don’t actually have to leave the theater room and miss parts of the movie. The arcade area was nice but it was pricey.

It was an amazing experience everything is clean and in good condition i come here all the time never had a bad service coming here!

Great place to spend some time and money. We played at the arcade where you purchase a game card for example say $50. You then have a balance of like $65 around there. Its gives you more to play with. A little bonus is nice. We also ate at Billys Grille. The burgers where delicious 2 different kinds were ordered and the buns I was told were very soft. The burgers were inhaled they were so good. The slider burgers were also ordered for the kids. They loved them as well! I ordered a 10 Hawaiian Pizza. While everyone else was eating their meal I had to wait like 45 minutes if not longer because apparently they dropped my pizza in the kitchen and it had to be remade. I was just told ooops we are sorry. That kinda sucked. Could have offered to take it off my ticket. I ate my pizza late and everyone else was already done eating. We have not tried the bowling alley and movie theater. But will very soon in the future.

Had a great time! Christie & the bar staff are very friendly & Axe throwing with Stacie was the best!! You will need close toed shoes for the axe throwing & the front desk people won’t tell you that. On the subject of the front desk people & their manager, they have no idea what they are doing. Thank god for Stacie for helping us out & showing us a great time! Definitely going back

Grill review: This used to be a fun place to eat, with many unique options. Thats now gone and looks like a standard menu full of options youd get everywhere else. All of our favorites gone. So, so sad. Also, avoid the fried pickles. They are cut like stackers so when you (try to) take a bite the whole pickle comes out of the crust. That was a horrible idea guys. Other than that, the staff is great. They even let us come in & eat even though they were closing for a special party.

Nice its the only option in close range. But the prices, (like most movie theaters) are really pricy. Especially the bowling and price for drinks.

Place is really well kept. Theater seats recline and you can have a burger while you watch the movie!

We love this place. It’s great to enjoy a pizza and a beer while watching the flix. If you’re going with the family or just with friends, you can bowl or arcade here. The seats are very comfy and they also recline which you reserve online unlike other theaters that are just basic.There is a hefty craft beer selection that’s I’m still working on trying, mostly cans and bottles.

Any time I come see family we end up at Schulman’s! Bowling, arcade, movies, food and beer all under one roof? Sign me up for a membership! Clean and courteous establishment that will hopefully be around for a long time to come.

We had fun here. The arcade was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, every single person we talked to answered our many questions. We played games in the arcade and watched a movie. Seats were great, no squeal when you moved them and they had a pillow like feature. You can have all of the food from the restaurant delivered to you in your movie as well as the usual movie food. Popcorn was yummy. I am excited to go back and try some of the other things they have to offer. I think this is a great stop for familys, slightly more expensive and I didnt see any reward programs like Cinemark offers.

Great place for family night. The staff seemed to be friendly and helpful. Movie theater is awesome. I think the games are slightly over priced in the arcade. The restaurant they have was pretty good. We where actually surprised about the quality of food. Definitely recommending!

Have to edit my review. they advertise 80 plus types of beer....but they have been out of my favorite beer (of which I only had 6 total) for over a month and a half. so I went to my second choice and that only last 6 beers....so I asked for the most common of all whiskeys.......and they were out of that....it has been 2 weeks they been out of second and third choices.....for a place to advertise so many beers....and then cant provide them...makes me wonder if anyone can complete their promotion of trying every single beer and getting your name on the wall of fame.....but.....the steaks are good...even if it takes a few tries to get it right. nice bartenders also.

We went to see Unplanned , good movie. Good popcorn,nachos and drinks, a bit pricey though. We ate dinner there. Most of the food was okay. You might want to skip the mac and cheese though. Service was good. This was our first time eating there.

I have enjoyed being able to go to the movies close to home! But what is really great is having a clean theater with very comfortable reclining seats! Senior ticket prices are a definite plus for me -allowing me to go more often.The staff have always been helpful and patient while Im trying to make my decisions on what refreshments I want! Thank you Schulmans for the early movie times too as I dont like to drive after dark.(I havent used the bowling alley or fun arcade, but I am glad they are available in our small town.)

Everything is great except the food. Its just okay, but you can get a decent hamburger. The reclining sears are very comfortable. The selection of movies could be better, but everyone has different taste in movies. Bay City has needed something like this for a long time.

Theatre has been kind of dirty lately but we always have a great time when we go.

A big city style entertainment theater in a small town. Theaters are clean and recliners are comfy. They also offer online reservations for seating. They also have a bowling alley and an arcade. Great selection of beer and mixed drinks. My only complaint of this place is that the restaurant leaves quite a bit to be desired. The basics, such as hamburgers, pizza, etc., are ok, but I would avoid anything beyond that. Still, and I believe I think I speak for the entire local community when I say this, we appreciate that we have a nice place to watch first run movies in Bay City. Thank you!

Family Fun!

Our family tradition is to go to the movies on Christmas day after all our festivities are done, this will be our 3rd year coming to Schulmans. It is convenient , clean and not too far from home and my husband loves the seats! And the turkey avocado sandwich was awesome! Yall still have that I hope?.. Just wish I new what movies were gonna be there on the 25th,oh well, we havent been let down yet! Heres to keeping our tradition going, See yall on Christmas!

Love taking the family here. A little bit of entertainment for everyone.

Great first experience! Took the family here to bowl. We ended up eating lunch as well. The place is very clean, even the bathrooms. The bowling alley was very impressive and modern. There are not a large number of lanes but they are spread out so you dont feel right on top of the group next to you. The pins and balls glow from the black lights overhead. And there are extra large hi-def screens at the end of the lanes to watch the big sports game while you bowl. They have good sized rooms for parties as well. The food we ordered while in the bowling alley came quickly and was delicious. After we finished, the kids played in the arcade. You do have to purchase a players card and preload it with money (50 cent charge). The cheapest game is $1. There is a kiosk outside of the arcade that you obtain the cards from. Cash or credit card is allowed.

Its an okay place, on the weekend the movies start late, but its okay, they have a bowling alley looks pretty good havent played yet, they have a game room there, they have a restaurant with good food, and they have a bar there, a nice place

Many activities for different age levels are provided, and it is a very family friendly place.

Ordered the tickets online this time and it was simple to pick them up. The theater was clean and comfy! The restrooms were clean and stocked also! I love that we have this awesome place in Bay City!!

I wish I didnt even have to give one star. I went to a birthday party here this past Saturday and it was horrible. We werent allowed in to see the movie until after it started. The pizza was horrible. Very greasy. My kids complained of stomach aches afterwards. We were not told that the kids were only allowed to play certain games so the kids were all upset. Also at the end when the kids went to spend their tickets we found out they werent allowed to with the party package. There was 30 upset kids.

I LOVE this place! The movies, the bowling alley, the arcade, and the restaurant! Me and my family love coming here on our spare time. The games in the arcade are fun, the workers are really nice, the food taste AMAZING, and bowling is even fun!

The bowling is great for unlimited bowling night, the restaurant is good, concession stand it too expensive and the tickets can be pricey too it’s a great theater and clean except the bathrooms were horrible once for my wife and smelled horribly and she told someone and all they did was close the door stalls as they didn’t want to clean it. The first two experience was great but the last was just horrible it was more expensive and the restroom was super horrendous for my wife

We like this place as it has things foot all members of the family. Movie, games, bowling and good food.

This place is nice but unfortunately unless you want to drive an hour to go to another theater this is the only place in town. because its the only place in town they know that they can charge you whatever they want and people will pay because its basically the only entertainment in town. the restaurant is really good the staff is friendly the food did take a little while though. But the bowling, arcade, and theater food is just outrageously expensive. Being from San Antonio I know that things can get expensive but this place is out of control. You will spend like $16 on a soda and popcorn. At the arcade you can only use a card that you reload each time the minimum is $10 and if you lose your card you have to pay extra for it. You cant just play individual games you have to load your card and it has to be a minimum of $10. Which is basically a sales tactic. If this werent the only place in town I would definitely go somewhere else.

Blessed to have this place. Nice to see the kids have fun. I love the game room. Bowling leagues. Wed and Sunday they have old movies at 7:00. They have sport venues and their manager jeff has karaoke. He sings great.

Thank you for having the movie “Overcomer!” The movie was awesome. I was with a groupOf 15. We ate a great supper at Billy’s Grill then all went to the movie. We all said everyone should see “Overcomer.”

This was a great time! The facility is very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Bowling was hassle free. I do wish you paid per game instead of per hour. Marc at the bowling counter was very helpful and answered all of my questions as it was my first time here. He is a wonderful addition to the staff here. I will be back when Im in town. I had a party here this past weekend and we had fabulous time! The party rooms were nice and clean. The workers were great! Crystal & Marc were attentive & helpful. They went out their way to help with whatever we needed. Everyone was so kind. I will definitely come back and have another event. I recommend 100%!

Great movie theatre for Bay City. Full bar and grill located inside and the theatre seats are assigned and they recline as well.

Very good spot to have fun in a small town. However the Cajun wings are not good.... literally everything else is great though.
