Little crowded but its a nice park. Worth the drive and we will be back

It was a great skatepark and everyone was really nice.

Awesome park! Fairly small park with a great flow. Sweet mini ramp. Sweet flat ground street section for techie guys. Nice owner dude. Support this park and keep cruising on whatever you ride brudha.

Took my nine year old daughter and had a blast. We skated the mini; everyone was nice and let her take a run. Friendly skater folks for sure. Patrons and staff were all great.

Staff is so friendly! My boys love it here for their scooters, they stayed for hours! Laid back atmosphere, friendly place and cool layout for a smaller park.

Went for my first time tonight. Great atmosphere, great layout and super friendly staff. Ill absolutely be back.

One of the best private skate parks in Michigan!

Went in looked around,teens having lots of fun. And year round too.guy working there was good with kids.

Very fun all wood skatepark inside the Lakeview Square mall. The miniramp is wide and well-built. There are flat boxes and flat rails too, which a lot of skate parks lack these days. Tons of fun! They also have a skate shop built into the park, carrying shirts from Euphoric Life, skateboards, etc.

Id give them one star but it looked like the kids enjoy this place.With that said, when someone is wandering around and looking its usually a good idea to ask if someone needs help, thats how you make a sale.When the employee saw me looking at her she ignored me, then told me that Im the one who needs to ask, not her job.Its is your job! Your job isnt to ignore people while you eat on the job while talking to your boyfriend all while ignoring a potential paying customer.

One of the things I love about Battleground is how much they value the community. Theyve teamed up with the library for events in the past and today was a community celebration for their 1 year anniversary. Its really a great place being ran by people that are doing it right. I strongly encourage supporting this local business that supports us.

I like the place, it is smaller than the last one and can get crowded, but for it being indoor and in a mall its pretty sweet. They did a good job packing in as much as they could with the space they have. All the riders and staff were friendly. I rode scooter and bike there. The ramps have good flow and smooth transitions. It has street and park features. I would recommend that you have enough experience to know how to ride when you ride (not cut other riders off, know how to stop quickly, and watch were you going. Basically no little kids who just got a brand new thing to ride that they have never ridden before.) I dont know what Tayler Slivermans problem is, but he the employees arent trying to push anything on anyone. The do offer a Bible study on Sunday so you can have a free session. I dont understand why that would be so bad. When I was there, none of the employees said anything about religion, they were out riding as well. From what I remember, the people skate too Taylor. There is no reason this place deserves one star.

I like this idea. Giveing kids a place to hang out and still be able to be in a safe environment, for the most part. Extreme sports arent exactly safe... But in general. These kinds of recreational areas could just bring the Lakeview mall back for young adults and teens.

Owners are nice and all of the ramps are nice, not to slippery. They have fingerboards there too which is cool. The only thing i had to worry about were some little scooter kids but it wasnt too annoying. Definitely coming back

Kinda small, but still a fun layout of ramps, rails, etc. Having a air conditioned/heated location for the hot summer days and cold winter months is always a plus! Gets a little cramped at times and the ramps can tend to be a little slick at times, but its still fun!

I love to take my kids here and they have comfy seating to watch

This is a great skatepark. My older brother has been skateboarding for about 8 years and he comes here all the time. Its also a little nicer than most skateparks as far as just dropping off kids goes.

As a mother, I feel great dropping my young teen off here, knowing there is supervision and a good environment. For my son, he loves the ramps and pipes...the best around. Kids are coming from all over the state and Indiana to check them out!

Its small (smaller than the previous location) and completely flooded with scooter kids. So badly that I would consider it a safety hazard. Park etiquette does not exist here. Might be nice for Battle Creek locals but even then Im not sure its worth it. Save your money and go to Skatezoo where no scooters or kids are allowed. Staff here is seemingly friendly but expect to be asked Where are you at with your faith?. They are hardcore bible thumpers and bribe kids into bible studies for free skate sessions. Just something for parents to be aware of. An employee verbally expressed to me that they make their money off scooters and the owners are scooter kids parents. I believe skaters should support skateparks owned by skaters.

Nice staff and a better environment than your average skatepark.

Its really fun to ride

I volunteer at the Battleground. I do Improvement projects as well as monitor the park and build friendships with the participants. The management I believe its doing a good job of the dressing issues and taking this ministry in the right direction

Ive been a supporter of this organization for years. When I purchased an expensive scooter for my 7 year old and in 10 minutes the forks were tweaked.. we brought it back to battlegrounds just to be told thats not how they sold it to me and that they would not make it right in any type of way. Never again will they get a dollar from me!

I’ve been skateboarding for nearly two decades and have skated 100’s of parks.I always find it funny over the years when kids say that the skatepark where their at gets boring. Normally it’s because they’re just starting out and don’t want to put in the work to learn new tricks. Just being on a skateboard in a empty parking lot can supply houndreds of hours of enjoyment! For the size of the Battleground park the builders did a great job of fitting a good veriety of obsticals into it and it flows very nice. In my opinion Battleground quite possibly has the best miniramp in south west Michigan! It’s super smooth and fun! Being indoors makes it one of the top places I like to spend time during our cold/snowy Michigan Winters. Very cheep session prices too!
