Mango s outdoor volleyball is a place unlike any other in Baton Rouge. When you arrive there is a ramped entrance into a restaurant/bar area that had a good oversight onto all of the surrounding sand covered courts. While you are in the restaurant it had a true beach atmosphere and feels like a break from the city life. If you are looking for a good time with the family then this would be it. However, if you are looking for something a bit more competitive then I would recommend signing up for the volleyball league that plays every Monday around 6. Overall, Mangos location is a good location to spend those boaring sunny days anytime of the year.

Great place to play some beach volleyball. League play offers appropriate competition to players of all skill levels. They also offer some variety on the weekends, like doubles tournaments. Bar food is good (I recommend the Match Point Brownie), and the drinks are fairly priced. Cant complain.

This place is so much fun! Team night is always a good time for all ages. Kids playing in the sand and adults having margaritas and buckets of cervesa while also playing in the sand! Fun to come any night with friends and family to enjoy the fun atmosphere and music. Great bar and kitchen making delicious options.

Great facility, friendly staff. We bring a group of employees here occasionally for fun nights. Its a great place for all ages to relax and have fun.

Such a cool facility! I had never seen a sand volleyball and bar situation like this! Mangos is fantastic to just chill. They offer league volleyball as well! Every college town needs a place like this!

WOW! How did I not ever go here before this past month. Seriously thank God there is something like this in Baton Rouge.. Food, beer, and fun. Join a league or play pickup games after and make friends. Food is great, surprising for a bar! Margaritas are serious business there and the bartenders are really good. I go a couple times a week now and meet up with friends for a drink and a few games after their official matches are done. Will be joining a league if they have space next season.

Incredible place for drinks, food and volleyball.

Great place for volleyball! I play in a quads league and its the highlight of my week to be able to play some volleyball and have a drink. There is delicious food and everyone is friendly. Its a great cardio workout, too!

Wether you are playing or spectating this place makes a great end to any work day. Great food. Great people.

Great experiences in well run leagues

Its the place to go for sand volleyball in BR. They have quad leagues during the week in Spring, Summer, and Fall. If youre signing up, be sure to come on opening day as they typically fill up. The leagues arent cheap, but theyre a lot of fun and the facility if fantastic. For those less committed, they have weekend tournaments as well.

Everyone is super friendly and very honest. Ive been going off and on for years and have never had a bad experience.
