Really nice park but they need to fix the drainage system. I got to watch this place being built! So excited that we have a skatepark now in the middle of the city. Perfect location. Check out my video of a bigspin on the steep ramp!

Absolutely truly amazing. I never thought a skate park like this would be in baton rouge when I moved here. From the 2 times Ive gone, seems like the skaters are nice and non judgmental to new skaters. Highly recommend

Hey man, love this park. BREC did a solid when they built this. My gripes are: please, take care of the water intrusion in the pool as well as the flow bowl. They really need to take care of this. Otherwise, fun park!

We live in Lafayette where it has no place to skate and this place is a gem for us. Its a very spacious friendly environment. Has good bike trails around the park to cruise if your not a trickster. Bring your skateboards, scooters, bikes, or roller blades. Also has a nice park for the smaller kids nearby. The bmx dirt track is awesome as well. Again, very friendly staff and friendly skaters who dont mind giving helpful tips to beginners. Very much worth the drive!

Such a great skatepark! The place is leaf-blowed daily from what Ive experienced. There are lots of events that are so much fun to watch. On weekends theres a gelato stand which is nice on hot days. Lights turn on at sundown which is great during an all day skating session.

Cool skatepark. Big and spread out, with lots of flatland to cruise through. Plaza style street area with lots of ledges and manual pads of varying heights, several rails, and a kinda-too-big bank to bank jump with no ramps to get speed for. It would work better if it was a foot or so shorter and mellower. There is a fun beginner area/minibowl that is 2 open bowls connected by some rolled-lip banks and volcanoes, a big snake run style flow bowl that goes from 6-8’ with a 10’ clamshell, and a gnarly 7-10’ pool with tile a pool coping, with a solid foot of vert all throughout. The 7’ shallow is tight and hard to ride, the 10’ deep is like a big open keyhole. The coping needs to be sauced badly, and needs some seams re-grouted. Overall, a fun and well-built park, just no intermediate stuff- it’s all green slopes or double black diamonds.

Has steel bowls for expert vert skaters. Rails for expert street skaters. But don’t worry, there are plenty of spot here for beginner and people trying to reach expert status. Well rounded place.
