This theater setting is great for small venue type performances. Enjoyed a fantastic concert with Our local John Schneider. This was by far the most enjoyable performance that I’ve been to at this location. The seating is comfortable and it doesn’t matter where you are sitting, the view is superb. The entire evening was very well organized. The theater was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Small theater, cozy and clean. Good place to go for live music and independent/artsy/foreign movies. The film festivals and jazz are appreciated in this otherwise culture-less football town. I kid, I kid.

Went for a dance show performed by children. Excellent seating, and the price was very reasonable. The dance performance were really good too.

The Manship Theater was beautiful. The actual performance area was very small. The parking downtown is awful. Exceptions should be made for parking when big events are held downtown.

This is an excellent concert venue and theres literally not a bad seat in the house! The acoustics are great and allow for superb sound production. Theres also a nice bar in the lobby for those who enjoy a cocktail to go with the performance. The seats are comfortable, the atmosphere is cozy and classy! This is the ideal environment for music lovers. I have enjoyed each experience here and think others would too.

Manship Theatre is such a great place for good entertainment. Their Jazz series and concerts are the best!!! They really value true artistry and always have quality performances. Wont be disappointed with their Jazz features thats for sure.

The Best Venue for a concert! Sound is awesome and every seat has a good view of the stage. Seats are so comfortable. LAW was outstanding!

Nice place to watch movies and concerts

We went to see a Christmas jazz concert. The staff was courteous and professional, the acoustics were great, you could hear the entire sound range. The band George Bell and Friends was amazing! It was a wonderful evening!

Visited the American Impressionist exhibit. Excellent exhibit. There are other exhibits there as well from Louisiana artist of various mediums. The pottery was very beautiful.

Saw Amazing Grace from 1972 with Aretha Franklin. Fantastic, totally enjoyed it.

This was my 1st time going there & I was very surprised with the surroundings. The art work was very interesting(& not in a bad way). Very clean(including the bathrooms),& the staff was very friendly. Although I went there for a childs concert,I would definitely go back if there were any other events that I like.

Wonderful experience. Small, intimate theater. Every seat is a good seat. Buy your tickets early. I recommend the first mezzanine.

Great intimate atmosphere to attend an event. Building is beautiful and the neighborhood is nice. Only drawback is parking. You either have the by the hour garage or the never able to find streetside parking.

Manship Theater is a refreshing theater that brings you close to the performance no matter where you are seated.

Amazingly well designed theater with no bad seats. Ive seen films and live music, attended summits, and presentations in this space. It is the only site in town for a number of film festivals. Clearly, programming is varied. Having an in-house bar allowing one to drink a beer while watching a film is a plus.

Totally awesome venue. Only 325 seats! Not a bad seat in the place!

I loved having the opportunity to perform there and even just being an audience member was amazing because of their great lighting, awesome acoustics and sound system, and beautiful stage. The seats were very comfortable, five stars for real.

I saw Quinn Sullivan here and the sound was great and the seating was as well. The building is awesome with a gallery on the mezzanine above. Im surprised the dont get more acts cone through.

Hopefully the popcorn smell will not be too strong. My daughter wants to go see a live show there. And the smell from the oils concentrated in the air can set her onto anaphylaxis shock. Deadly for her. She has not been to a theater, bowling alley, or resturant for 11 years now. She also has trouble going into grocery stores. She has to wear a has mask like the ones in refineries just to go in wal mart, festivals are tough sometimes too. No crawfish boils, fried fish dinners, or gumbo parties for my daughter. She lives a.very sheltered life.

We drove out here to catch a Lightwire Theater show which had never come to New Orleans. It was open admission and easy to get a seat near the stage, but no seat in the rounded theater was too far from the stage
