We go once a year to give our kids a chance to ice skate and they always have a blast and enjoy themselves, good, clean family fun

This is an excellent venue. Well organized with great parking options nearby, its large enough to host big events, but constructed in such a way that there isnt a bad seat in the house. The only drawback, and its minor, is that concession options are somewhat limited.

Went here for the Miss USA 2014 competition and had such an awesome experience! Although we were pretty high up we were able to see just fine. They provided large screens so we could see close us. Stairs and elevators are available to get to each floor. It was a tight fit in the seating area (as most of them are) but we were able to move around just fine. Plenty of food and bathrooms. Theres no point to bring anything in such as bags or purse since it slows down the process to get in, they do search bags (best to avoid bringing them in if you can avoid taking them in). When you come for an event its best to come early to get in. During our wait to enter they did have a cocktail room for us to wait. Not sure if it was just a Miss USA thing or the center itself.

Great venue for this type of concert. I saw James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt! It was my second time here. The staff are all friendly and courteous. I would definitely come back for future events!Shower the People You Love With Love️

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet band was awesome! The band was tight.What was not expected for the price of tickets for the concert at the River Center was the fact they had no air-conditioning that night. The only venting was when people opened the exterior doors.It would have been better to have an outdoor concert. Not to mention if you are tall or big the leg room and seats in section 105 was like an elementary schools basketball bleachers at best. No wiggle room and no HVAC make my concert time at the River Center a one time, fool me once experience. Wont be back. Seger was great.

Stunk! Has a clear bag policy that no one notified us. We were from.out of town...offered to let them search bag...nope. staff nice but allowed a woman with a service dog in with her purse and a backpack, neither were clear but they searched hers.....

This is a view near the Raging Canes River Convention Center. This is a great place for having any type of a Convention. Ours was a Convention of Jehovahs witnesses. They have seating on the floor for the elderly and those who cant go upstairs. They have seating all the way to the top of the building...a complete circle of the stage. There are large monitors handing every where, so you can clearly the stage wherever you are sitting. The audio system is very clear and is understandable, whereverYou are sitting. Monitors and sound are Crystal Clear even in the hallwaySurrounding the building. The bathrooms are plentiful and have 20 or more stalls in a single bathroom.So, no long lines to wait in. They have automatic paper towels,which has a motion detector. There are 2 handicapped toliets per restroom.The Center has to the front door service to let handicapped family or friends out and another family member is directed to the parking garage . Parking fees were included in our rent of the facility, but I dont know if thats the case with every convention held there. The temperature was quite comfortable,to the vast majority. Its a convenient, clean and comfortable facility for having a Convention there.

Went to STARSET & SHINEDOWN Concert Wed April 1818 All bands were AWESOME & LIGHT SHOW was SPECTACULAR,had the best time.Box office worker was very nice,all smooth service. I will also be at the GODSMACK, SHINEDOWN, LIKE A STORM Aug 12th18 concert at the Starplex in Dallas TX...WOW,3 of my favs at 1 concert, CANT WAIT !!!

Went to the Valentines Day Concert. Raising Canes needs to upgrade their sound system. We could not hear the artist. The mics were horrible. I would recommend seeing your favorite artist at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Raising Canes Center will ruin your date night. Especially after paying over priced ticket sales and not being able to hear the people you came for is horrible.

We came for the 2019 Love Never Fails Convention, nice building, perfect for the convention!

I took my daughter and her friends ice skating. $14 per person but they had a lot of fun. Next time I think I will get on the ice.

Great service. Roast beef sandwich was outstanding. Wifes meatball sandwich was outstanding also.

It was a great place to go see cody jinks. Plenty of space.

Raising Canes River Center is excellent! The manager was friendly. I ordered 35 meals and prepaid for my BETA students with no problems. Then I ordered lunch. It was hot fast and correct. The restaurant was crowded for the convention but my order was out in no time. Their was someone constantly cleaning spilled ketchup and napkins. I recommend Raising Canes River Center anytime.

Great atmosphere I attended to an Disney event with my family

Humiliated the artists with faulty sound equipment. Same issue everytime we attend a concert here. Fix it, BR, before the concerts dwindle.

Not my favorite food at all, but my kids love it. And regardless of my taste the service and freshness cant be beat. The staff is always very upbeat and helpful and super efficient and smiling the whole time. Im not a huge fried chicken fan but if I were to eat chicken, canes with there amazing honey mustard is the choice I would make.

Lines lines and more lines. Bathroom situation was crazy. It didnt seem like there was any organization any where. Concert was awesome the sound was perfect. But if you want a drink youll miss 1/4 of the show...

The Show was Good, But they ran out of Food At 7:50pm

Their fountain drink machine was not working before the event so they were selling 20 oz cokes for $4. Then, I was told I would have to pay $4. for a cup of ice!

I go here for practically every event in Baton Rouge. They definitely have high security & the staff is very friendly. The seats are a lil close together & you definitely dont have enough leg room. The temperature may be off at times,but its not to the point where its uncomfortable. And the restrooms are pretty decent as well...

We have come to the river center for everything from ice skating and Disney on ice to dance recitals. We always have a good time. We were a little surprised that we had to go through a metal detector for ice skating but I guess with the BR crime rate it makes sense. We have had a great time at every event we have attended here.

Raising Canes River Center is a spacious event arena mere steps away from beautiful views of the riverwalk on the Mississippi River and downtown Baton Rouge. We were there for a volleyball tournament and it provided plenty of courts for both girls and boys teams. Concessions were the usual event fare with nachos, burgers, dogs and such, but also provide more adult beverages with beer and wine selections. Also, food trucks pulled up just outside the front doors and provided a luscious amenity both days of the event.

It was nice & cool. The upper seats were comfortable. Enjoyed the escalator a few times. Very clean. We were there for the JW convention. Very peaceable.

Was a great place for concerts, the Cody Jinks concert was very good as far as sound , cleanliness, and size!!!

Very accommodating for the convention that I attended. Parking though... wow. Although that very well may have a lot to do with the venue.

Bob Seger concert at the River Venter was AMAZING! LOVED IT! With all the people in there, they had enough drink & food stations which meant NO long lines to wait in.

The concert I saw there was amazing. But they kept delaying our entrance, but let guests in on the other side at the original entrance time. It was freezing outside and they pushed our entance time back 30 min then an adition 15 then another 15. We werent able to go in until 15 min before our show and the lines for bracelets for ientrance were insane.

Everytime Event Ive attended was worth my money. The bathrooms and the arenas are clean. They dont hassle you at the entrance and they have enough security.

We went to see Disney on ice. It was very nice from the beginning until the end. I am disabled and I walk using my Rollator. I didnt know until 2 weeks ago, when we came for the Monster Truck Show, that there are special seats for disabled and handicapped people. It is so much more comfortable now that I can be better situated. Thanks to whomever came up with that idea. Maybe the next thing would be special pricing for our tickets.

We went to the Shinedown concert and loved it. The security staff were on point the entire time and where friendly and courteous. I would have liked a few more signs as far as where to go for bracelets and such but overall great experience and would definitely suggest going.

Ive never had a complaint when ordering from Raising Canes. the only thing I dont like about their food is that the fries are not as good when they get cold..the lemonade is okay and my kids love the tenders.. I guess it depends on the person whether or not you think its expensive, its okay to me.. I would eat Raising Canes over McDonalds or Wendys any day

Went to see Bob Seger here ~ it looked a whole lot different than I remember when I REO Speedwagon thirty some years ago. It certainly was a great time!!!

Pretty awesome for my first time! I went to see a Shinedown concert here. It was amazing! Whatever fruity drinks in the Blinky cups they were serving seriously packed a punch. I had 2 and I certainly didnt need more! Absolutely awesome place to rock out at for a concert!

When we bought r tickets we were told section 116 was all that was available, but were good seats. When wrestling started we could see nothing on the t.v. set so we had no idea what was going on. As we looked around there were lots of seats available and 30 mins. Before it was over someone tried to move us to better seats should have done that when it started. Next time an event is planned using the t.v. u might want start selling tickets at section 115 .we were very disappointed.

Was there for the comedy 85 South Show! SUPERB!

Ive been to so many events here... back when it was named the Centroplex, all the way to the current name, the Raising Canes River Center. All of the concerts and events were fun! Its a great facility for any large event.

The wife and I went for a concert. Lines for drinks went quick, facilities were clean, and the event staff were friendly and helpful. It was a good experience. The concert was good too.

This place has improved over the years. The employees are an absolute delite. I recommend a concert here when one comes around.

Went to the Shinedown concert on 4/18/18. It ROCKED! The only thing was it was too hot! They need A/C units that can keep up! I was in general admission on the floor and every once in a while I could feel somewhat cool air. Also, the price of drinks are ridiculous! $4.00 for a small fountain drink!!! The staff was courteous and helped us with a drunk old fart that kept falling and leaning on my husband.

This was such a fun way to wrap up my New Years trip to Baton Rouge! $12 a ticket, 75 minute long session! Your ticket also includes a small drink and skate rental.Tickets do sell out fast for skating sessions to buy early if you want to get on the ice! Parking was free and the staff was very organized, skates are pretty basic and can hurt your feet so wear thicker socks and go up a half size if you can!They had a small concession stand for nachos,popcorn, fountain drinks and prepackaged snacks!All in all, great event for families,couples or an individual!

I love the area right here in Riverside centroplex raising Canes Riverside centroplex I love the levy I love the the battleship the kid I love the paperclip. I love the bridge right there the state capital the old state capitol of all the architectural buildings that theyre building around there I think its a great place I love live at 5 thats an awesome fun time place anyway thanks.

If you are handicapped or in a wheel chair or cant walk too far, this is not the place for you. We parked in handicapped spot in parking garage. We had at least a quarter of a mile hike to Raising Canes River Center. Then we had 3 sections of stairs to go down. We asked security guard, he said we HAD to go down to the lower level to get to the entrance. Plus no signs telling you where the garage is, where the River Center is, where the Performing Arts Center is. Totally confusing !!!

It was hot and uncomfortable I was literally sweating. It was not nearly enough stalls in the womens bathroom. And by the end of the evening the womens bathroom was locked. No cup holders. It was the worst Auditorium I have ever been in. And believe me Ive been to a lot of concerts

Nice venue. The only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because security allowed some drunken baffoon to get up on stage and torment the guitarist. The guitarist then had to yell at the man to get him off the stage. Security did absolutely nothing

The venue was great, Shinedown put on a great show. No problem with parking or traffic leaving.

Need more signs to direct people to garages and signs on outside of arena to show sections on inside to save unnecessary walking. Also need elevators and if there some, put bigger signs up to show the direction their located

After Four Years Of Employment.. My Family and Son Enjoy Each and Every Event.

My family and I attended my daughters high school graduation there. Facility was clean and parking was easy.

Ive been to several events here and it has always been nice, clean, and the employees are very helpful!

Letting people into the arena could be better,Overall it is clean and the concessions taste delicious and the bathrooms are clean.

What I am about to say is not directly at the actual river center but it is where I saw the Shen Yun performance last night. Tickets were $100 each. It was in one of the smaller theaters, and half way through the crappy show it became clear that it was a cult. These people are a total scam. I can’t believe the river center would allow them to get away with this crazy nonsense. I hope someone from the river center reads this and ceases having this group perform here. This isn’t Chinese ballet, this is a group of unhinged people that are the Scientologist’s of china. Do not go, it was worth about $20 at a local community college. Bunch of complete nuts.

Went for cat Williams concert and almost had a panic attack it was so hot Im the building. AC surely wasnt on for event the only thing that was disappointing to say we pay a substantial amount of money for those tickets.
