Excellent dog park! Access to the water, lots of room for the dogs to run, grass is in good shape. The park is big enough so that dogs are not all forced into one big group. Good fence and gates. Views of shipyard.

There were many kids there today along with many dogs! It was a hit buggy because of the weather. But Ive been on a nice sunny day and we always have a good time. Lots of space for dogs to run and play. You can also keep them on a leash if you prefer, but they are welcome off leash too

Nice little park run by city of Bath that is popular with dog walkers. Short wharf that had half dozen people fishing. My son and I came here to get a view of the Bath Iron Works structures, which it showed nicely. Ate lunch on a bench watching the facility. Metalworkers were on strike with signs out front so got to wave in support. Not something we get to see every day.

South End Dog Park in Bath, Maine is one of our favorite places. Fully fenced in on three sides and the ocean adding its own kind of fencing make it good safe fun. There is a nice path circling the park for walking while the pups run and play and a big pier with benches to sit and watch the water too. A circulating fountain provides fresh water and there are bags for clean up and waste collection containers too.It has it all and makes a walk, bark, run or frolic in the park something both you and your dog will both enjoy!

Although my dog Brandi and I have hiked trails all over Maine, we have only been to a few dogs parks. I didnt find Bath to be anything special. Sure, its a fenced in area where dogs & humans can intermingle, play, socialize so thats always great, but its a very simple square. Definitely owners are not cleaning up their dogs poops enough, but I see that everywhere. Its cool that its on the river. Nice added feature there. If you want to see a real dog park go to Quarry Run in Portland. Dont get me wrong here - ANY dog park is great, and anytime owners care enough to get their dogs out to places like this its great. Mine & Brandis thanks to Bath for providing this space.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this dog park is!!!! When we first got our pup we didnt know where to take him to socialize with other dogs, but we found a great place at South End. The people who bring their pups are generally very nice and so are their dogs! It has good parking normally, but sometimes there are people fishing on the pier and they take up all the parking! :( they provide trashcans and bags to pickup after your dogs. There are some people who dont pick up after their dogs, but for the most part it is clean and very well maintained. It has a small beach for the pups and a beautiful pier with benches. I highly recommend this park, it is the best place for dogs in the area and is nice to walk around even if you dont have a pup!

I absolutely love the City of Baths South end Dog Park. It is located about a mile from the center of town on the Kennebec River. There is a circular path that goes around the park and they supply plastic baggies to pick up after your dog.My doggies love this space and cant wait to get inside to romp and play with their friends. Dogs should have kennel cough intranasal before going as both of my animals have caught it here in the past.

10 acres of open riverfront land open to the general public. Built on top of a 1950s industrial dump site the property has been capped and remediated. Although not originally intended as so, this open space was adopted early on by dog owners and is now officially designated as paws friendly. Also features handicapped accessible fishing pier and bocce courts. High number of off-leash dogs generally makes it not suitable for other purposes.

We stopped here to get a better view of Bath Iron Works but found out it was a lovely dog park that seems very popular with local dog owners. There was a nice little dock that gave us the view we were looking for and was good to fish off. There were also some benches to relax on. Also noticed a large osprey nest with babies!

The best dog and people park in the north east. Huge and fenced in so dogs run free. One side is the Kennebunk river complete with sitting or fishing pier out into the water. Also a small beach for water dogs. Please clean up after yourself and dog. If you or your dog dont want to play then this is not for you. If you or your dog have issues, walking them on a leash does not work as all other free dogs approach anyhow. Same for balls and frisbies, all the dogs go for whatever moves so if you want quality time with your dog, stay in your back yard. That said it is a pure delight for well adjusted dogs and people. Expect dog and people water fountian, clean up bags, convenient waste cans, benches in the park and on the pier and dont wear white! !!
