This really is Pemiquid Point. One of my favorite places on earth. Views of surf, wildlife, rocks and of course the lighthouse is incredible. As with anything worthwhile, the drive is not short. Many improvements to the location have been made over the years.

I have only been out to the island once but I always like to look at it from the beach. My great great great grandfather Edwin M. Wyman was the assistant lighthouse keeper from 1886-1889!
