Metro is absolutely amazing. This club went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their coaching staff is outstanding. Very competitive teams. We moved from Florida after the season had already started and they put a lot of time and effort into making my daughter a better player. The girls and parents are amazing too. With us not being from the area we were told by other club parents we picked the best volleyball club in Memphis! Club prices are low! Lots for the girls to do during off season!!!!!

Metro has made a lasting impression on our daughter. The training is first-rate, and if you have an athlete who truly wants to play in college, this is a place that will get your athlete there. The leadership and coaches that we have personally come into contact with have been nothing short of incredible. When COVID hit, the club went into high gear to protect their staff and athletes with stringent safety protocols, cleaning practices, and purchasing new sanitizing equipment to keep everyone safe. The club also maintained clear and constant communication with families regarding the happenings during the COVID-crazy time. The coaches stayed engaged with their teams, and during safer-at-home orders, the teams practiced at home via Zoom. Definitely a great way to connect with the team several times a week. Really well done and well above and beyond. We are pleased with this club, but more than anything, our daughter has said on more than one occasion, I found my club home. My daughter has been involved in volleyball since the age of 9, for 8 years. We chose Metro after moving to Memphis as a continuation of her volleyball training. Metro has been the best Club in Memphis for Volleyball training, recruiting, competing, and experience. The coaches are friendly , knowledgable, and experienced in training athletes all over the world. The private lessons are available to work on specifics of skill perfection for elite and new players. They have the best of equipment and techniques to assist in training volleyball athletes. Group training is essential and the club has been focused on current COVID guidelines to safely implement group training. During the COVID crisis, the club has been taking all recommended precautions for cleanliness and working with the players based on these recommendations. We have loved the club, staff, and opportunities provided at Memphis Metro for our athlete.

We LOVE Metro! We have been so impressed with the way they have navigated and kept our girls training during these Covid times. They have been so diligent in adhering to all safety guidelines and going above and beyond what’s “required”. We can’t say enough about the coaches and their love for the game of volleyball and especially their love for their players. Metro is truly our home away from home. Couple of summers ago my daughter attended a summer camp here, she came back completley inspired, motivated and begged to tryout for a team here. She worked hard and we havent looked back! If you want to be part of a club that has a diverse range of athletes, encourages your child to perform at the next level, motivates them, gives them tools to acheive success and treats them like family this club is all that and more! The coaches and staff are very professional and organized, its a gem in Memphis!! If I could give them 6 stars or more I would!!!

Our family loves Metro! We moved from out of state last year and were so lucky to find such a welcoming environment. The two things that stand out to us are the coaching and the training.I cant say enough about the coaches - they consistently go above and beyond. They take the time to find out what motivates each individual athlete, and they use that to help them improve. In addition, they care about the girls as more than just volleyball players. For example, the coaches always ask my daughter things like how school is going, etc.The training is excellent. Practices are not easy - they will SWEAT! But the instruction is well thought out, consistent, and result oriented. When watching practices, I never felt like I was watching a drill just for the sake of doing a drill. It almost always seemed to relate back to a game situation. In addition, Metro emphasizes all around training. Even though you may play one position, you will learn and practice the skills for all of them.Finally, we were super impressed with how the club handled all of the Covid issues. When we were unable to practice in person, the coaches still held virtual practices plus additional specialized training sessions. Once things started opening up, we were able to decide what we were comfortable with in terms of making up the missed in-person practices and whether we wanted to go to any tournaments. The balls are sanitized, sanitized, sanitized, temperatures are taken, coaches wear masks and gloves, and even the floor is treated with a special germ killing UV light.

Metro offers many wonderful opportunities for players of all ages. Their coaches are experienced, patient, and committed to each player. Both of our daughters have played at Metro and have enjoyed their teams,improved their skills and become better players. Thank you Metro!

My daughter has been at Metro for 3 years. During quarantine they offered virtual lessons as well as in person lessons. The in person lessons featured social distancing practices and they followed safety protocols. The staff was dedicated to safety. My daughter has enjoys her experiences at Metro. She loves it here.

Memphis Metro Volleyball has done an unbelievable job handling the obstacles that Covid has thrown their way. Safety for the athletes is their main priority. They take temperatures at the doors, sanitize before and after practices, and even have a UV lamp for the floor.During our regular season, the owner (Coach Jitka) never put pressure on anyone to play if they were uncomfortable with the situation and we made decisions as a team. The club also worked with the parents to get a portion of their fees back from the season that was lost due to Covid. The master coaches have taken my daughter from someone who could barely play to an elite athlete. She was even able to play on the varsity team as an eighth grader. If you want your daughter to soar and learn from the best, then Metro is the place for your family.

I seriously fell in love with its great appreciation for the coaches this summer (2019). Metro is a gem. My child is happy, she has fun with her team and she is encouraged by all the staff. We made the best decision for our daughter. Just three month in and she is a totally different player (aggressive, fast and willing to learn). Metro for the long haul!! We found a home!

Memphis Metro offers outstanding competitive volleyball training for all levels of players and caters to the whole athlete. The athletes are taught superb volleyball techniques and the coaches also teach them the importance of having confidence and being mentally tough both on and off the court. The Club Director is very personable and involved, she takes a genuine interest in the growth of every athlete in the club. The front office staff is very professional and accommodating and the Metro facilities are the best in the area. Joining the Metro family when we relocated here was one of the best decisions my family made! Go Metro!

When I signed my daughter up to tryout at Metro I had no idea what to expect. I was nervous! The cost and what if she doesn’t love it!?! The commitment! Ahhhh...all of the emotions! I had questions. Lots of questions! When I spoke with Katie, she KINDLY and PATIENTLY answered ALL of my (many) questions! I must say this was extremely refreshing! Sadly, it isn’t too often you experience excellent customer service. Also, it’s not too often when dealing with a large business (especially one in youth sports) where everyone you come in contact with is kind and caring. At Metro, they have been all of this and more! We’re new to club volleyball and we are so excited to be a part of the Metro Family/Team!
