I loved this place. Was here a couple of months ago and . They charge less for cover charge and it’s a huge nice place. Food is great. Service could be a bit faster

Roomie place with fun atmosphere. Decent value. Great banquet hall for hosting medium to large events. Pizza, pasta, and burgers are decent.

I went and visited for the first time this place tonight. I really like it, only $5 cover charged, which include one drinks. Decent place to end the weekdays and I think If I keep coming, I will probably begin to learn western line dancing .

Used to come here when it was the ranch. Weve been standing here since 955pm. Theinstructor has been teaching salsa dancing. No music for over an hour now on a Saturday night. Absolutely unbelievable for a bar that charges cover.

Great country music, food and beer

They call it fiesta caliente, place is nice great bar but DJ porras hardly play cumbia and merengue most of the time is just Salsa and Bachata he needs to learn how to entertain a variety of cultures

Honestly, I was having an amazing time here with all of my friends. It was my first time so I did not know what to expect. The atmosphere was great and I had a lot of fun. That is until I was approached by a very unfriendly bouncer. The entire night I had three drinks spread out. I mostly spent the night dancing with my friends and talking to new people. I was talking to a few new people when I was approached by a bouncer and asked to leave. This shocked me as I was simply minding my own business talking to friends. He claimed that I was falling asleep and should leave. This was ridiculous as the people I was with were there to attest that I had been talking to them the whole time. The bouncer did not care and just kept telling me to call it a night. I was very upset as I didnt even have a drink in my hand and was basically completely sober at that point. He wouldnt even let me retrieve my friends that I came with, so I had to take an Uber back by myself. I understand it is the job of bouncers to ensure safety of the patrons, but I was not doing anything to provoke concern of my safety or others. Completely uncalled for.

I Went to Lucky Star for the first time since it was changed from Cadillac Ranch. even though im not big into country a friend of mine is and I told her I would go with and im glad i did. I got enough courage to do the line dancing lessons which were a blast and the nice male bartender had the best recommondations for shots. The Scooby snack was a great choice! Look forward to going again and bringing more friends. The barhrooms were clean too which is a huge plus!

Lucky Star serves deep dish and thin crust pizza, as well as a full menu from Morettis Ristorante, located in the same building. Drink specials nightly and country dancing. Private parties are a specialty with reserved areas available as well as separate banquet rooms.

Bar was really nice, all around great experience, i will go back.

During the line dance scare of the 80s there were 10 plus Chicago Country Dance venues. Only Cadillac has stood the test of time. And its not all line dance. Caddy is the only club in Chicagoland to provide quality country couples dance lessons for some 20 years. I love it.

Expirence was horrible. Absolutely horrible. The only thing this place has going for them is the dance floor and extremely polite shot girl. The servers are rude and dont even know the menu nor drinks. The bartenders on top of that cant even poor a drink. Youre better off buying just a beer. Besides that, this place is horrible and they wonder why the place is dead.

Website says country western music and dancing all night every Friday night. Not even close. My wife and I went there to dance and they played possibly 4 country songs all night. If youre looking for a night out for country dancing this isnt a country bar they just pretend to be.

The ranch is awesome.Nothing in this area beats the Cadillac Ranch.You would probably have to go to Texas to find something as cool as this place.

A group of us decided to go to caddy after a poker game because it was close by and we used to frequent this place back in the day. What a mistake! This place has gone down hill. Upon arriving on 7/14/2013 at 145am, the parking lot was practically empty and the place was dead.We found it odd that the kid scanning IDs at the door said it was a boring night. We asked why and he replied, we havent thrown anyone out yet.The winner of the poker game bought all of us a round of shots and a beer. After taking the shots, we take our beers outside to the deck area where you could smoke.Let me note that its now 2am and last call isnt till 230am because they now close at 3. We go out to the deck, light up a smoke and talk about the card game.Now comes a overzealous little chubby bouncer who just left a group of employees that was sitting at a table together, to state that we needed to leave the deck area because theyre closing down. We mentioned it was only 2 am and last call was at 230. Mind you we were respectful, not drunk, older late 20s white folk just looking for a drink after a fun poker game.Little chubby napoleon pushed out his chest and screamed to get off the deck and got in our face. Being sober, we laughed and said calm down. We killed our cigs and moved inside. HE continued to taunt us as we walked away when his fellow co-workers outside told him to stop.Like a swat team, comes other bouncers with cameras filming what they think is going to be a fight. The only person freaking out was the little chubby bouncer.As we walked back inside he said Im from chi-town and I will F all you up.We finished our beers and were forced to leave. You cant help but laugh at the whole situation.You have the doorman saying hes bored because they didnt throw anyone out.You have overzealous bouncers that are power hunger and instigate situations.To the manager whose name we didnt get (guy in blue polo shirt), you know we were not trouble and you know we werent drunk. You know you lost business and I could see it on your face when I mentioned that your bouncers will cost you money.Goodbye caddy ranch it was nice to know you.

I know Cadillac Ranch (now, Lucky Star) since 1998 and its an excellent live music bar to have fun with your friends.

Excellent service, nice decor, tasty food.

Now theyre charging $10 cover after 10pm even if theres no band!! Dont know why its always empty... now lets see the business theyll get. LOL

This place is great to hang out at on a Saturday night. Food is really good here as well.

Only serve pizza, wasnt to busy for a Saturday night but the DJ played great music and the bartenders were on their game. Id try it again.

Love the new dancefloor. love the lessons with all the teachers except for Janet. food great at Morettis been a regular for 20+ years and gonna keep going til they close and hope they never do. Their dj Dave is the best country dj anround !

Loved the live music. They have a mechanical bull, a beer pong set, and bags in the outdoor area.

Thought it was a country bar, and I came for all the music except for country... great cowboy hat DJ. Super disappointed

Egh, country bar that seems on its way out. The time I got dragged there it was a theme of prom night, which seemed desperate for a country bar. Two stars because the mechanical bull was free.
