I have never felt the need to give a review before and I have never asked for money off my food bill in my life but today’s experience warranted both. Our family of 5 made a reservation for 12:15 for the Father’s Day buffet and they were out of food. There was gravy and hot brown which was cold. Those were the only 2 items. There were only 2 large tables there besides our family and the wait staff assured us more food would be coming soon. More food did come, one item every 10-15 minutes, so you’d have to eat everything separate and we all had to eat at different times. At $16.99 per person this was not a good value. I honestly was shocked that they charged full price, added gratuity automatically to the bill, and gave no explanation about not having food. When I expressed that the bill should not be full price, the manager stayed in the kitchen and had the waiter deliver the news that she would take 10% off. I felt bad for the staff so I paid the bill and decided to write a review. It’s unfortunate all around because as a busy firefighter and full time dad my husband rarely gets celebrated and $100 is a lot to us! Try at your own risk but I definitely wouldn’t try coming here for a special occasion unless you have a backup plan.

A integral part of the Bardstownian experience. This country club has seen generations of locals come through its doors to enjoy everything from parties, events, pool-time, or just sharing drinks and stories with friends. Wonderful membership perks for those who join and an attentive staff make this an ideal place to relax and share memories. The weekly events are fun and engaging, and can include taste-testings, drink pairings, adult or family pool-party movie nights, and much more! Non-member events are also available for those wanting to test the waters, so to speak. I recommend joining to anyone living in, or moving to, Bardstown!!

We were guests of members and only visited the pool. From what we hear they do have plenty of activities and other events to keep members occupied. Will definitely look into it more.

Ever since management changed Ive had good experiences. And theyve had quite a few great events for the kids!

Monthly OKH Board of Realtors meeting is always nice. Staff are very friendly and theres plenty of seating for everyone.
