I live right near kebo and I say it is one of the best golf courses I was on the Emerson golf team and it is well taken care of. And the staff a very friendly.

Very challengin

Before driving two hours out of your way to this course, if you call in advance and ask if you will be able to get on and play 18, beware in that they may tell you yes it’s wide-open only to get there and find a high school team preventing that.ZERO effort to remedy the situation either. I offered to go off on 10 and was told “we don’t do that here“. So I was stuck paying for an overpriced nine holes while sitting behind foursomes on a “wide open” golf course or eating a 2 Hour Drive and gas and learning a lesson about this place.

Way over priced

Great place to take your family-friends out to eat. They have amazing food and fast service!

Review №9

Out of town, nice and relaxing. Great service and food.

Real fun golf course. The guys in the pro shop are super friendly. If you are ever up by Acadia, check this place out.

Kebo Valley Golf Club, located on Mt Desert Island in Maine, is home to the oldest golf club in Maine, and eighth oldest in the United States. This well-rated tree-lined and open parkland layout should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

Kebo Valley Club is a very nice course. The course is also in very beautiful area of Bar Harbor, Maine.

Review №13

Great course, wide open, drive as hard as you can!

My husband and I played this course based on the reviews I read. Everyone must see something different than we did.To begin with it is very pricey. We have played courses for the same amount that put this one to shame. We found that if you did not know the course, there were a few holes that should have been marked better. The fairways were very dry and one tee box did not have any markers. We guessed!!Distances were also not marked from the tee box to the water, etc. Based on the price of this course, it needs a lot of improvement to make it the best in my book. Also if we had known it was mostly cart path only we would have never made the tee times. We will never play there again, which is sad, as it could be a great course.

All ProShop and wait staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The golf course is one you want to play. Spectacular views and fun to play.

Review №16

Eighth oldest course in America. Links layout, maintained beautifully. Oldest course in Maine. Top notch ProShop. Links Pub has great food and drinks, service is solid!

Review №17

This course is as challenging as it is beautiful! The greens are the best Ive played in all of Maine. The Links Pub has a wonderful variety on the menu and prices are very affordable, especially when you see the generous portions. The food was well presented and fresh! My daughters chicken tenders were so good that my husband and I both enjoyed a few bites. He had a Turkey avocado panini and I had the Southwest salad. Again, no frozen food - the turkey breast was freshly roasted and my chicken was right off the grill. The service was friendly and attentive, and the view from the deck amazing. One very important feature here is that it was super easy to find and plenty of parking!! This course and restaurant are both fantastic! Both are also open to the public. The history and legendary 17th hole might be what lures you here, but the challenge of those greens and the fantastic 19th hole is what will keep you coming back!!

Review №18

78.00 for 9 holes is a bit extreme. The course was nice and in good shape but we are not in pebble beach. Would of loved to play more than one day but not for that price.

Review №19

Little pricey but worth every penny! One of the best courses Ive ever played! The next time Im in town, Ill definitely be back!

Review №20

A little pricey, but we got the two-for-one on Saturday. A very challenging course and it lends itself to not lose too many balls. I dont understand why they dont reduce the price to attract more golfers. I guess that is a business decision.

Review №21

Very nicely maintained course. Difficult greens made things very interesting

Review №22

Friendly staff, was able to rent clubs, many scenic holes, and had a tasty meal after my round. I would for sure visit again for golf and food.

Review №24

Super friendly staff super hard greens

Review №25

The only true championship course in the Bar Harbor- Ellsworth area

Review №26

Its a nice layout and the courses history alone make it interesting. Pro shop and staff are friendly. It seems a little over priced considering the course itself, but its location puts greens fees at a premium.

Review №27

Golf speaks for itself. The food is great and so fast

Review №28

One of my favorite places in the whole world

Review №29

Great food near home....
