Parking here is a pain, especially on weekdays. You have to park on the side of the street, but space is limited. The hill offers a great view of the entire inner harbor of Baltimore. Its also within walking distance of the downtown.

This is a great spot where you can view the entire Inner Harbor and essentially the entire city of Baltimore. What a view! Its a spot constantly visited by people from all over the city for the views and the opportunity to sit quietly and breathe. Also a favorite spots for runners and people who love the steps and hills as part of their workout. Great grass areas for picnics and a super kids play area. Parking is plentiful between the hill and the American Visionary Art Museum.

A nice park with a picturesque view of the City. The park is free to get into, although note you may have to climb a fair number of stairs, depending on what side you enter from. There are a few informational signs that describe the history of the hill. The kids will like the old cannon that sits atop the hill.

A beautiful peaceful park that looks out right over the city and port of Baltimore. If you park on the key highway side its a trek up the hill so park on the back half if you want to avoid the climb. This is a great spot to walk your dog or bring the kids to play or to just check out the view. Holidays and 4th of July is also awesome as youre able to see the fireworks from here too.

This was a great park right in the middle of a cool area in Baltimore! We were recommended to take the Water Taxi over to get a good view of Baltimore from the water. The stop at Federal Hill was a quick walk to the park. The park has a path going around it with a great little green space for the city. There are some swing and stuff for kids to play on, as well as a great view of the city and the harbor!

This is a beautiful spot to see Baltimore Harbor. You can see all the harbor from the hill. Evening and night scene is even better. It is in a walking distance to all the restaurants in inner Harbor main plaza. If you are lucky you can easily find a parking down the Hill. It is really a hidden treasure of Baltimore. Definitely worth the visit.

My boyfriend had researched and saw that this park has the nicest view of Baltimore. It does have the best view of Baltimore (Inner Harbor) so far. From this park we saw the Hard Rock Cafe, museums, restaurants, aquarium, baseball field, the harbor, ships/boats, the volleyball courts right next to the water, etc. It is an awesome place to visit. It is on a big hill. We found parking for free near the park and just parked there and walked around for about 30 minutes. So far it is my favorite place in Baltimore. It feels really relaxing here. It has a ton of trees for perfect shading. We did not see any restrooms though so keep that in mind if you have a picnic here or plan to stay for a while. A lot of people walk their dogs here and play with the dogs with frisbies, etc. It is a very clean park. There is a gated playground (not locked) for children (dogs are not allowed in this portion of the park). There were several people with their dogs and children at the park, couples (one couple was getting professional photos done with the Baltimore background), people alone, runners, walkers, and people just hanging out/sitting on the several benches that are all over the park. There is a monument of US Senator/ mayor of Baltimore/Major General Samuel Smith in this park. This was the first monument I saw while walking around. There is a Memorial statue of George Armistead here as well. He is the officer who served as the commander of Fort McHenry (Baltimore attraction) during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. Worth checking out this park. We sat on the bench and just relaxed. I loved this park and hope to go back again someday.

The park is always in good shape, being well maintained. The view of the harbor atop the hill is impressive. Theres a play area for the kids (a pirate-themed jungle gym and a swingset), as well as a dog park where the owners appear to pick up after them. A number of exercise enthusiasts also use the 98 stairs, from bottom to top, for a workout.

One of the best places to enjoy the view of Baltimore downtown inner harbor. This place is pet friendly, so perfect to enjoy walk with your pet. There are hourly paid parking spots in the nearly area or you can park in garages.

Well I just love this place. I would recommend to visit in weekdays in the afternoon/evening. Great place to sit at and rewind or just spent sometime alone or with company. Grand city and inner harbor views. There is quite a lot of stairs to climb and no wheel chair access on it. I am a resident of the area and I often take coffee up top and sit for sometime. The place flaunts the beautiful soul of the city.

The best place for panoramic views of downtown Baltimore and its beautiful harbor! On a nice sunny day, come between morning and midday for the best photos. The place is an easy 10-minute walk from the waterfront and is not particularly difficult to climb (maybe about 100 steps), although it is not wheelchair accessible. There are no admission fees.

You cant beat Fed Hill Park. The view, the open space for dogs, the amazing playground and swings are some of the best in the city. You can push your stroller up Warren Ave so you dont have to drag it up the stairs. A sunrise run to the park fills my heart with love for the city. The bored teenagers that cut class and haunt the hill midday balance out that love, but still an overall terrific place for a run, picnic or playdate.

Fed Hill Park is a literal park on a hill. It sits across the inner harbor from the skyscrapers. Its a great place to walk your dog, bring children to play, or go on a date. it has a wonderful place to watch the sunrise and sunset. you can see clear over the adjacent residential homes. The view is awe inspiring and can give you a sense of Baltimores downtown. Go alone at the early hours to get free and easy parking, and to see the city sleep.Traveler and Adventurer - IG @brian.dent

Relocated to Baltimore for work and visited Federal Hill mid-June around sunset; fireflies were out in full force on the hill facing the visionary art museum; looking out over the harbor with the fireflies twinkling, water taxis and dinner cruises out motoring around, and USS Constellation docked it was completely surreal --- reminded me of the video game Fable; absolutely beautiful magical panoramic vantage point; people were grilling, reading, and just hanging out with dogs; nice place to experience to remind you what Baltimore was and can be.
